I'm a pencil collector. Geez. Even I pulled the brake lever this year😂. I love all these new pencils out these days. I've been building around my 1984 Berol Prismacolor set. Great video
I just bought the Kalour 520 set. But I keep asking myself if I need Brutfuner. Then try to decide which container to get. Probably both. Off to watch your videos on Brutfuner. Thank you 🎉
I think the kalours are more wax based so they are going to be more pigmented I have the 240 set . And the brutfuner sets are more oil based so they need more layers I have the square set. By the way your video about the different Crayola sets made me realize that I only need the 150 instead of the 120 set also thanks.
I have Kalour 72 set and I'm happy with that many. I would enjoy a set of less than 100 of them Brutfuners, but I don't need 520. I would have no place to put that many pencils.
That’s a good point. In all my time with colored pencils, I have found that I have never needed anything that wasn’t in the Prismacolor 150 color wise.
White labeling doesn't mean you sell the exact same product. A lot of the time, companies will mix and match from a certain set of features, tweak recipes, etc when working with a white labeler. James Hoffman just did a great video showing a white label coffee roaster in the UK.
The predictability rating mrans little to me. Once i get my pencils i seatch them and refer to that to pick colours i want. I never look at the names of the colours. Maybe i should sounds like some would be a laugh. That said i did notice once a ohuhu markers being way off on colour name to colour produced
I look for the color name to give me an idea what the color is going to be. It's the closest thing colored pencils have to industry standards for colors. In that category, I also list that the barrel color is close to the swatch color. That helps me when I am deep into a project and my pencils are in a crazy mess all over my desk. And yes, swatching is super important. That is the whole reason behind my Etsy Shop. I have never really tried markers. I am curious to try them. Any suggestions on where to start with them?
I see the logic of it. Thanks for your review. How fun!😊
I’m glad you found it helpful.

I want both. But I will likely get Kalour first because of the tin box
