can I record two separate tracks individually like the focusrite on the pyle? For example, if I want to hear only what's played in channel 1. If the answer is no, will a sound recording software allow me to accomplish the above with the pyle mixer?
The one thing I like about the pyle mixer it has the old CB mic plug-in like the Yamaha mixer I also like the one slider that can go up and down for everything this will be excellent for podcast also the pad on both inputs to the microphone in the hi z witch will allow guitars to be used and a Bluetooth which will give a direct connect to your phone which should eliminate static when recording and I dig the built-in USB which allows you to record to a USB drive your vocals your music your ideas even affect sounds and play them back through the mixer just my thought's

Can additional mic connect to mono/stereo input on pyle?
No, mics can be used on channels 1-4 so up to 4 mics. I wouldn't run a mic through the other inputs

Yes, the Pyle has 2 combo jacks so XLR or 1/4" Note the USB or Bluetooth can be used on these. Not both at the same time.
