I bought this unit but can't get it to work! Hoping it's something I'm doing wrong. Trying to play my keyboard through it to my Elliott amp head to my Elliott speakers.
if I remember Right The channel levels set the set the audio level on the digital output to the computer. so your main level can be used for the speakers in the room.
how do it compare to Pyle PMX466? how does Pyle PMX466 compensates de lost of the [CTRL OUT] and [SEND & RETURN] Socket? [CTRL OUT] Output to Connect the monitor room to monitor. Just bought one of these... the mics work great .. so the xlr to speakers are fine... but I went to just put the usb in from my laptop. and the music is not playing from the speakers. Am I doing something wrong?
I would want a bigger mixer only the first 4 channels are setup for Microphones, most mixers today have a combination of Mic and line inputs. like a 12ch mixer might have 6 Mic/line plus 6 more line input set in stereo, but there are some mixers that have all channel as mics/Line. here is a link to help amzn.to/4ceuqYu PMXU128BT
When I try to connect the mixer to a PC running Windows 11, I get a message from Windows that the device has malfunctioned and no connection is possible. "PC" is lit on the mixer but no signal is transferring to the computer. There doesn't seem to be a driver available anywhere online. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

@@mackgolia249 I was going to buy this mixer but I figured out a simple solution, I bought a used mixer with good mic pre amps etc, for phone calls, I can use a 10.00 Bluetooth interface from Walmart, run the 8th inch to quarter inch adapter to the mixer, works great
I plugged in an XLR cable to Line 1, and no matter what the settings were, it sounded nothing like a voice. Just scratchy robotic signal pitch. Not sure what the problem is.
I would like to see a video on the PYLE PYD1964b.5 mixer to resolve 2 specific things I read in Amazon reviews but believe they are user error. The first being Bluetooth connectivity & the 2nd a hum when gain level is set above a 3. Do you know if either of these 2 things are an issue with the PYD1964b.4? Thanks!
I would like to use my Bluetooth headphones. Can you recommend a blue tooth Transmitter that might work. I tried a cheap one but couldn't get a signal to my blue tooth ear buds.
On windows 11 the USB function does not work well. It only labels it a generic usb and when using audacity it will not record the stereo mix of the board and only records one mic input probably due to not having drivers. I am trying the line in by using the tape/CD in since you said it can be an RCA tape out. It does not send any signal to my PC while its connected to the Line in, so I think that part isn't actually true. Really sucks because I love having everything running through one board, but it just does not have an easy way to record it all unless i lose my control room or main out slots but now i have to go buy other cables. If the USB actually worked I'd say this is a 10/10 buy.
Great video. The versatility of this mixer is awesome. Just one question regarding the effects. Is it just one effect that is adjust 16 times with the DSP or is it multiple effects like reverb, hall reverb, chorus, vocal echo etc? Thanks
can I record two separate tracks individually like the focusrite on the pyle? For example, if I want to hear only what's played in channel 1. If the answer is no, will a sound recording software allow me to accomplish the above with the pyle mixer? Hey I see that you seem pretty knowledgeable on these pyle mixers, one I’ve been using recently stopped allowing me to change its mode into pc, the only things the display says when I cycle modes is bt and no. Just wondering if you know anything about it
I'm thinking USB Cable or USB Port on the mixer. try an MP3 on a USB stick. also make sure the power switch in the back is on ( the fx display should be showing you a number.) if you plug in the usb cable it will power up the digital display on top but not turn on the mixer.
So you just go to each channel to what ever type effects you have and then repeat. Then go to another track to change that effect? I'm asking, do you have the ability to change the effect type for each channel or just the intensity of said effect?
can you please do a video on how to turn off/toggle the direct monitoring for the mic inputs? it's really bothering me that I can't use my studio mic while hooked up to my studio speakers and for some reason, the audio inputs are going into the same output in the windows audio settings as the phones output also, both the L and R Main outputs only go through the left speakers, and the computer audio only plays when I have the 7/8UBS button pushed down, but then it also plays back the computer audio as a mic input the stereo audio output also affects the mic volume in the windows audio settings, I think this is the wrong interface for me, either that or everything is just cross-wired. i don't know, and I don't care. I'm just gonna return this since I don't have time to wait for a response on how to fix this
When I plug in my switcher I only hear the speakers from the right or left (whichever the output 1/4 cable is plugged into) how can I output in both right and left equally?
Hey man great vid. When I plug USB in on my pc it sets the volume up incrementally until 100. But thats not the real issue. I use obs to capture audio from the mixer but sound is terrible. Any ideas?
@@isaacjh2178Audacity does not recognize the Mixer in it's full capacity. It only recognizes it as 1 mic input, no matter MME, direct sound, whatever. The USB has NO DRIVERS and is only recognized by the PC as a generic unit. This causes audacity to only see it as one mic input and not as a stereo mix from the main out, nor any of the channels on it.

I plugged in an XLR cable to Line 1, and no matter what the settings were, it sounded nothing like a voice. Just scratchy robotic signal pitch. Not sure what the problem is.
I need to know how to hook this to a computer (iMac). Where is that step? Where is your audio coming from? The computer?

There is no panning on this mixer.

Yes you can. Just put the mixer in Bluetooth mode.

No. The effects are global, as they are on all compact mixers like this. You can only affect how much of each channel you are sending to the effect.

Bluetooth sucks. Works only 10 to 15 feet.
You're right back in the day when 2.1 Bluetooth had a range limit set by the government of at best 30 ft. Not any more with Bluetooth 3.0 or higher.
