as mentioned above, this is how I was shown to do it as well.. The hook should rust off and their survival chances are better doing this method than trying to unhook. Circle hooks are also very good for catch and release.
LondonCity Angler I grew up in Bethnal green in the day .. your films bring back memories of old spots I fished .. and what fish we had .. I'm ramsgate way now if you and the old fella ever want to do a bit of fishing and filming get in touch .. I'll take you afloat for the big smoothounds.. all the best 😎
+LondonCity Angler shame about dads legs... we are on the large female thornbacks now...with a few smaller hounds starting to show.. the big hounds another month or so ,, maybe sooner if we get any heat... I'll keep you updated,, 😎
Nice video & good times spent with your dad. Brings back memories going with mine.
mate have a look at "fishos shore angling" he shows a great way of getting hooks out when deep hooked like this. Really easy too.

Snagged Bro it's easy and fun give it a go
Nice session 👍
Great vid m8, u can get Gemini snood clips now for clipping on your snoods so you don't have the messing with silicone tubing.
shaun brown I like the silicone makes a big of a boom section
Gotcha, sometimes I like to use the illuminois tubing if I am using long snoods.
