@@SaltwaterAngler I fish there a dozen or more times per year and have never had a problem. If there are two of you you can also drive through the barriers to East arm unload your gear and then one waits with the gear and the other drives back and parks the car. That way only one has the 10 minute walk (which is actually quite pleasant if you aren't carrying a ton of tackle)
My mum used to own the tackle box many years ago live pouting right down the side of the wall works great for bass had many great bass that way giving my secrets away because I have now moved to North Wales so sadly won't be fishing the marina for a long time
was there yesterday we had smoothhound , ray , plaice , sea bream and loads of little whiting !!! was a great days fishing we was using lug tipped with a bit of squid .
There is a free car park at the bottom west of Roedean school. Pitch n put on other side of road. It has a height barrier but alot closer than Rottingdean to marina.
Nice shame the may rot is in as the fishing round the marina normally dies with that for a bit (in my experience) .next time you are down in Brighton you will have to say as i have a boat in the marina and could possible organise a fishing trip XD
Hello! Complete noob here. Will attempt to go first time sea fishing very soon. I read on the internet most info i need to know, but can i please have a real live person tell me whether I need a permit to fish in this location (and others such as this one) and if I am ok to keep whatever I want (or what dimensions fish am I allowed or should for good sports sake keep) please and thank you! Subscribed and liked.
Hi I’m watching this during the pandemic I’m only 11 years old but I fancy fishing and I live near brighton beach me and my friend came exactly were you were but we didn’t have Any luck could you please give me advice for fishing in Brighton I would really appreciate it
Head for the east arm - Depending when we are allowed back maybe try and target plaice with lugworm any peg (these are numbers on the wall ) past the bend. Loop rig or up and over rig with beads of black and yellow. It will be worth your time when we get back to fish, go in to the tackle shop and ask about what to try. They can give you up to date information. Fresh lug a good start, keep things simple use a break away lead and don’t drop the bait down the side of the marina.
Its the vertix Azores conti- Ive done a review here- ua-cam.com/users/results?search_query=vertix+grauvelle+azores Its been solid ,Well worth checking out for U.K waters too.

You don't pay to park in the multi story if you are using the marina. If you want real rip off parking charges head to Banjo Groyne.
Cheers Terry thanks for the heads up I'll retire from my cycling career now then!
