I love the Honey Cake coord, loved seeing it at Tekko! I kinda wish you had a brown bomber jacket that matched the brown boots. It might make it more Rockabilly but I think it would be super cute!
this was really fun! i think with that wrapping heart coord, a wig without bangs would actually look extremely cute on you, i think that bc the wig wasn't a lacefront or really meant to be bangless, when you styled it, it became a lot more evident that it was a wig, and gave you a bit of a strange hairline. i would really like to see you do a lolita coord with a wig with a middle part!
For the second coordinate, I think it would have been interesting to play around with more browns. The issue with it for me was that shoes just didn’t fit with the head pieces, so messing around with tan colored accessories up top would make it look more cohesive, in my opinion.
Jay Nicole I have to agree, I find those brown boots painfulll and I don't understand. The whole video is like a gorgeous, sweet dream about gorging on cupcakes with angels in a floating cloud cafe.. and then those boots are like.. spotting a little bit of poo in the corner of the bakeshop 🍬🍰🍭💩?
If you wanted to got for the “peach is a little red and a little yellow” angle then I would suggest pulling that color in a lot more of your accessories, maybe mix up the peach, red and yellow to really bring the color scheme together

The first outfit I’d switch the head piece for a boater hat or something similar, make it a cute picnic moment. For the second one I’d definitely get rid of the earrings, it kind of clashes, if you want to cover your ears maybe wear pancake earrings or studs? Also you may want to try using eye lash glue to kind of close your ears up a bit but i don’t think you should worry about them to much! Also I like id use the brown more. I feel like the shoes should pull the outfit together! The third outfit I feel like you should get rid of the glasses and head piece as they draw attention to your face/ head and away from your outfit. I’d also wear cute ruffled socks. It may even be fun to use the blues in the dress as pops of color. I can only say this much as I don’t wear Lolita and these are my observations !
I love watching your videos about fixing/styling lolita outfits because even though I don’t wear lolita it has helped me a lot - I’ve been able to reconsider my personal style and my outfits when I have fun getting dressed up to go to Disneyland and Dapper Day events! It’s made me look at how to put outfits together completely differently! I’ve been having a lot of fun on weekends wearing space themed clothes :D

For me the only thing throwing me off about the Honey Cake coord is the patterned tights. Solide tights with or without ruffled socks would pull attention towards the dress and keep a focal point

Since you talked about being insecure about your ears, have you tried skin coloured plugs that fit the size they're at now? I know my sister uses them when she's acting/very dressed up. While everyones goal is full on self love about everything, there's nothing wrong with disguising stuff, either as a stopgap or a solution
i don't wear lolita anymore but sometimes if i didn't feel like having bangs I'd use two big decorative barettes that matched the coord (ex. biscuit barrettes for Sweet Cream House) and pin them off my face parted down the middle. Very 2000s, very kawaii lol

Just a suggestion for your earrings -you could wear a tunnel on your ears and then stick the dangly earrings through so that you don't have to worry about naked ears
About your Honey Cake coordinate: I really don't agree with the concrits given in the video. I feel like pulling colors exclusively from the print for accessories etc is too safe and can make for too much a a matchy matchy look, lacking depth and interest. When you look at fashion today, people are veering away from the matchy matchy, and the fact that you included that in your coordinate is to me really fresh and contemporary! The only thing I would change are the shoes; I loooove that they are brown but I don't love how clunky they are. Maybe a pair of "thinner" brown boots would look much better, while still being sups comfy! =)
So I love Honey Cake because I love breakfast food! I would overload it with egg and bacon accessories! I love that pancake headband! I would also overload it with bee things!

Hey it's2020 but better late than never. I love the eternal rose dress. I see it with candy colored oxfords with a modest platform, and a short sleve blouse with a Peter Pan collar and rose flower pin at the neck. That is just my 3 cents, I mean I am not even Lolita. I just love the artistry of it all.
The bouquet one does not need a fluuffed to death underskirt lol like a skater dress it can go lol.but i get you, it's lolita. Just get a small poofed one or bloomers only.

why did nobody say that the white blouse didn't match the first coord at all (at least my opinion). it would have been much better with a yellow/cream like in the dress. or there should have been more standing out white accessories!

Just a suggestion for your earrings -you could wear a tunnel on your ears and then stick the dangly earrings through so that you don't have to worry about naked ears
About your Honey Cake coordinate: I really don't agree with the concrits given in the video. I feel like pulling colors exclusively from the print for accessories etc is too safe and can make for too much a a matchy matchy look, lacking depth and interest. When you look at fashion today, people are veering away from the matchy matchy, and the fact that you included that in your coordinate is to me really fresh and contemporary! The only thing I would change are the shoes; I loooove that they are brown but I don't love how clunky they are. Maybe a pair of "thinner" brown boots would look much better, while still being sups comfy! =)

Hey it's2020 but better late than never. I love the eternal rose dress. I see it with candy colored oxfords with a modest platform, and a short sleve blouse with a Peter Pan collar and rose flower pin at the neck. That is just my 3 cents, I mean I am not even Lolita. I just love the artistry of it all.
