Hi. As another Crafter 4Motion owner thanks for paving the way for the rest of us. We are about to embark on some adventures in our Kampervan All Terrain and I feel a bit more relaxed about sand driving now, albeit with narrower 245 70r 16 tyres. I wonder if we could go to 265s with our Seikel suspension lift but have to we wear down this set first. Thanks again for an intelligent approach to using these great vehicles.

BTW Crafter owners need to be aware that recommended tyre pressures are much higher than on SUVs. it takes a decent portable compressor to reinflate tyres back up to 64psi (front) and 72psi (rear). A couple of months ago I tried this using my trusty ARB portable compressor and it took ages and got quite hot just with one tyre. I bought a Bushranger portable compressor and it reinflated from 30psi to 64 in 3 minutes and didn't even get warm.
I also have the 4motion crafter Kampervan all terrain. Using the same maxxis tyres that is being used on this video. They changed the van completely from the Bridgestone tyres that it came with 👌🏼
Just a heads up. These 4 motion cans don’t have a DSG. Unless it says it on your gear shifter and is an older model. The new vans run ZF gearboxes which are 100 times better than DSG 👌🏼
