Why did decide to break his father's heart? He is a total disgrace to his good dead father. When I saw how he started mishandling the word of God, I stopped listening to him. I don't listen to him and many others. Living for Jesus, is life and death Business. The Church must be the safest place for Confused people, but, not to leave them in the ugly behavior because you so afraid to lose them. Andy, were even save? You are leading you and others to hell. I understand, allowing all in the church… A church that follows the Bible and all of God’s inspired word which is inclusive of repentance; you would think this would be the primary place that a person would learn about the truth.
However, before doing any research, Just using the gay married, couple as speakers is “gay affirming” to me.
I too listen to Charles Stanley’s Audio/videos. There’s a reason they’re still out there; he is awesome.
I had no idea until after this video and then reading the comments that this is his son.
Hearing that he defended him, I wonder if that’s before he was using this gay married couple and whatever else that reveals gay affirmation.
Please pray for Andy and those affected.

He is propagating false teaching based on his humanistic educational degrees. The educational system was infiltrated many years ago as well as churches.
We must interpret the Bible historically, grammatically and contextually along with using the interpretive tools available. The dude who makes these videos obviously DOES NOT do this. He's so narrow and sectarian he cannot see two spiritual feet in front of him.

I listened to Charles S. for years. He preached against sin and a lifestyle that being pushed in society today. I listen to his podcast, radio, read his devotional and books. His son Andy is nothing like him. I remember seeing Charles Stanley being interviewed by Andy. My discernment told me that Andy Sandy was thinking “ I will never be like you. I will preach a different gospel”. Lo and behold , my discernment was correct. I also sensed Andy Stanley is part of their alternative lifestyle. Every one is accountable for their soul. Don’t let this Preachers who preach false doctrine lead you to H£LL.

It boils down to "friendship with the world is enmity with God". Most people think love means tolerance of sin and rebel if you tell them that God is holy and will not accept sin.

MY mother raised 6 girls in church. We went through our life decisions times but when we did, my mother would say lets see what Gods word says about the topic. We'd study it. Whatever it was. Mama would say, do you have friends already doing these things or living their lives like that? Usually our answer was yes. She'd say, well don't make any decision yet. Watch those living that lifestyle, see the path they're taking and how it works for them a bit. Then decide. Your life may be difficult because you're a Christian but watch how their lie goes with the same problems and decisions, WITHOUT JESUS. She was always right.

Stay in the gospel? This video is not about the Gospel of Jesus at all. Jesus was friendly kind and compassionate to prostitutes and tax collectors (which were turn-coat thieves) because he wanted to be a friend to them and help lead them to a better life.
This video doesn't have any connection to the gospel of Jesus. This video is about shunning good-hearted friendly and polite people using something from the Old Testament which was written specifically to a tiny tribe of people called Israelites in 500 BC. The people who wrote it thought the earth was flat and did not even know the continent we live on existed.
And as far as you know, the God of the Bible was from another galaxy and landed on Mt. Sinai among flames and smoke in a UFO.
You don't even know who the God in the Old Testament actually is.
However, we DO know that Jesus taught love acceptance and compassion.
It makes no sense to mention "staying in the gospel" (of Jesus) under a video that is all about USING a verse in Leviticus from the Old Testament to shun people. This is not about the gospel of Jesus or the message of Jesus.

Jesus taught strongly about sexual immorality. The same Jesus you say spoke of acceptance, compassion and inclusion. Anything other than what God intended and commanded, which is no sex before marriage, marriage between a man and a woman, no sex with anyone outside the marriage between a man and a woman is….. sexual immorality. Same sex relationships or attraction (especially acting on it) is clearly defined as sexual immorality. So, it is not just one scripture from the Old Testament meant for a couple Jewish folks. What Jesus said about sexual immorality was for all humanity for all eternity. Not to be changed because current culture and what people say is right or wrong…has changed. It’s clear, you don’t know what you are talking about when it comes to this issue. If you are a gay man or woman,……. you cannot make God change what is defined by God himself as sexual immorality to suit your own immoral lifestyles and choices. Being a Christian means you obey Gods commandments not just the ones you feel like considering. I pray that you learn to seek out understanding what God actually teaches through his servants in the Bible. You are offensive in the way you speak about God. I pray that you repent and turn to God, receive salvation and know peace in Christ.
My daughter and family started going to his church when they moved from Colorado to Atlanta. They started having doubts about Stanley and his church. They were ready to leave right before this Sunday. They decided to go to see what he was going to discuss. They were disgusted after his “talk”. She said at the end they got up and left for good. The sad part is only about ten other families also left. She said all the rest gave him a standing ovation. I was happy she left. She said she will not attend any church who does not follow the clear teachings of scripture. He is a false teacher.
I am happy she left too. Heaven sadly but truly, will not be filled with the majority who chose to be stubborn & not be led by Christ, but instead will be filled with those who chose to be transformed by the Holy Spirit & The Power of Christ & His teachings. That's what Christianity is all about. The WORD itself tells us that we ought to be like Christ. Nothing else will save ... ☝️💓🙏🏼 Let's keep praying for this confused man & his followers, that they may know Christ & realize the truth.
But this only happens when you stop believing anything & everything people say, & first you go to God, to see what He says, to then compare it to what the Preacher person said. No other way!
If they are so happy believing lies it is because they are not sincerely seeking God. Those who seek God will read His Word for sure. We hunger for it, we find peace in it & His Word, God's Word will transforms us daily!

Andy is not using the Bible as his guide for living for Jesus. He said he was using what gay men tell said. He did not read Romans 1:18 to 32 as it states that homosexual behavior is sinful - and “Although they (those who practice homosexual behavior) know God’s righteous decree that those who do such things (homosexual behavior) deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them.” But he needs to be cared for as Andy is under the influence of Satan.😢 There is no place in heaven without love to Jesus first and all people must honor his Word and deny their sinful pleasures. Verse 24 “Therefore God gave them over in sinful desires of their hearts to sexual immorality for the degrading of their bodies with one another… Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones… In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men…. So God them over to to a depraved mind… The LBGQ community needs to all repent snd stop doing these unnatural relations, and ask God for forgiveness, and ask God ti give them the strength needed, through the power of the Holy Spirit. In Jesus precious and holy name. Amen.

Several questions about Andy's teaching rose before his father died. I don't know if they were close, but I wonder if his dad ever spoke to him about questionable subjects outside of Scripture?🤔

I think Charles died being especially proud and encouraging to Andy.
That is just my two bits worth, but that is what I thought when I quit watching Charles.
Nothing I've seen of them has changed that.
Sorry for the long post but I’m please read to the end if you go to Andy’s church and have children. I attended Andy’s church in the late nineties with my new husband who was seeking. I had been raised Baptist but had walked away. From almost the beginning I had an uneasy feeling but couldn’t say why. My husband loved the place. For me it was an overcrowded rock concert with young people making out in the dark and a ten-minute sermonette thrown in by Andy ala Joel Olstein. No respect for the sanctuary, the solemnity of worship, let alone the Word of God. Afterwards people would push and shove to the exits, behave rudely in the parking lot, and no attempt made to welcome visitors or fellowship with one another. As result my husband suggested we join a small group. We excitedly joined a group and at our first Bible study they voted to cancel Bible study and go have a wine party at the pool of one of the group members. For some unknown reason we came back the following Sunday and this time my husband was asked if he would volunteer to accompany young boys to a summer camp for a week as a chaperone. Now this was the first red flag for my husband as he and I were police officers. No one knew this or anything about us as we weren’t even church members but just visiting. My husband was greatly concerned at the lack of protection provided by the church for these children and that congregants so trusted the church that they gladly gave their children over. After a lot of back and forth my husband agreed to be a chaperone and began attending the pre-camp meetings with the other chaperones. I suppose he thought if nothing else he could protect the children from predators. During this meeting it became clear to my husband that in fact there were people he believed to possible child offenders. He even witnessed what he considered inappropriate behaviors that came very close to touching that he would arrest someone over and reported this to higher ups in the church to no avail. During his time at the camp he watched one man in particular like a hawk and interfered with the man’s efforts to be alone with any of the boys. After returning home he agreed to leave Andy’s church. Later while attending a country church my husband gave his life to Christ. Andy’s church is not only not a church but it’s genuinely unsafe for children so this current situation comes as no surprise to me as my husband clearly witnessed what he considered sanctioned grooming of children during our short time there.

Do not compare this man to Joel Osteen. Joel preaches the Word, uses multiple scriptures in every message, never asks for money on his TV program, hasn't received a salary from his church since the early 2000's, and conducts an altar call at the end of every service. There is no comparison to this man who lacks genuineness and is full of pride.

Eli's sons weren't any better, why would this Andy dude be any different just because his dad was a popular pastor? He's way older than me & had all the time to repent in the past. If God has closed the door to him, no amount of prayer will change that. Perhaps, God intends to punish Andy Stanley instead, by hardening his heart like God did to Pharaoh.

So, isn't it part of our duty as brothers/sisters in the broader household of faith to pray for the return of a lost sheep, especially considering the example of Charles Stanley was so evident and plain and will be written on Andy's heart? But you have chosen to take a merciless look at the situation. You say "he's way older than me and had all the time to repent in the past" - well hopefully, when you finally reach his age you will have been humbled by the Lord a little and will have compassion and more maturity and more love and more consideration that it is NEVER to late for the Lord to answer a faith filled prayer. @@rah1721 Well, you like to misquote the Bible just like Andy Stanley does, but since you like to say that I see it "mercilessly" without really trying to understand WHY I see it that way & presume you know more about Christianity than others around you, I see you as PRIDEFUL, not humble, in the guise of "Christian love". I grew up in Bible Schools & Theological Schools since I was 3, when my parents gave up everything they had to become pastors & to serve God. I thank God for opening my eyes early to the hypocrisy of many who call themselves Christians, but are not. My parents served in 3rd world countries, we almost got murdered 4 times when I was 9 years old in the places that they were assigned to do mission work. They only got paid $3/month, we didn't get any financial support, we paid out of pocket, lived in slums while those senior pastors & American missionaries lived lives of luxuries funded by American Churches, their kids went to International Schools and Ivy League schools. We were ostracized by said church we belonged to when we exposed the corruption done by the higher ups, and their use of the poor people to solicit financial support for themselves. We had all the proof, but the "Christians" buried everything under the rug. To protect themselves, they talked badly about us & spread rumors about us. Now I realize that many who profess to be Christians are false, because you find EXCUSES for others to keep sinning. You like the BENEFITS OF CHRISTIANITY WITHOUT PAYING THE COST --- As for you & your house who serve the Lord, why are you "praying" for corrupt men who lead people to hell for their salvation, when the Lord removed those who turned His Father's house into a den of thieves? You lack the conviction and strength to confront the likes of Andy Stanley, while you know those who attend his church are going to hell with his false message. Some who go to that church already died not knowing the truth, some will die. You just pray for the man.

@@jerriannebarnhart2842, that’s something most people don’t understand, and I mean professing Christians when I say most people, which is that when someone departs from the faith and is not humbled to return in repentance, it’s because they were never born again of the Holy Spirit to begin with, so they were never even saved. You hear Christians talk about believers in Christ losing their salvation, when scripture is clear that Jesus Christ will not lose ANY that the Father gives Him, because we cannot lose the salvation that YHVH has given us as a gift, which is not based on anything we have done, but is solely based on the power of the shed ßIood of Christ to atone completely for every sîn we have committed, past, present, and future. YHVH even gives us the faith to believe, and then He seals us with His Holy Spirit, as the promise of our inheritance in His kingdom. We are saved to the uttermost, period. To believe salvation can be lost is to believe you can do something to earn salvation, and anyone who believes they are made righteous by their own works is lost. People don’t lose what they cannot even earn by works of the flesh. People depart from the faith because they were false converts all along, and they never had the indwelling Holy Spirit to give them the strength to persevere in their faith until the end. As John put it, “They went out from among us because THEY WERE NEVER OF US”. They were never saved to start with. Contrary to what many “Christians” believe, growing up in a Christian home, and attending church regularly, and participating in doing good deeds through the church, does NOT mean you are saved. Héll will be filled with people who went to church regularly, who did charity work, and who grew up in a family with Christian parents, and they will be there because they were never born again of the Holy Spirit, because they never truly trusted solely in what Jesus Christ did for their redemption. I grew up in a Christian family, not just my parents, but everyone in my family, from aunts and uncles, to grandparents, to cousins, etc., and we all went to church regularly, and I received Christ when I was very young, 9 years old, too young to even understand what sín was, and then I received Him again as a teenager, and I was not truly saved until I was 30 years old. I had gone in a very dark path, and if not for God’s mercy and grace I would have dîed in my sîns before I was truly saved. But Jesus let the rescue workers revive me, and when I got out of the hospital I began going to church again, and I rededicated my life to Christ, and was baptized for the first time, and I knew something was different about my relationship with God, but didn’t understand what it was until I began reading the Bible. I had been born again, and I had the Holy Spirit giving me new eyes to see, and new ears to hear, and the difference between believing in Christ, and being born again from your belief in Christ, is like night and day. I had never understood the true gospel. I had always thought it was Christ “PLUS MY WORKS” that saved me, and it was only when I was humbled to the point of my spirit of pride being broken, when all I had was Jesus Christ to trust in, and what He did for me, I was finally saved. I know my mom and grandmother spent many a night on bended knees praying for my salvation, and I am eternally grateful for that. I now know I am saved, because the Holy Spirit bears witness to that. The Bible says we can KNOW we are saved, without any doubt. We don’t have to wait until we leave this world to know if we’re saved, because if you’re doing that, you’re trusting on your own works to save you, and you don’t know if what you did was good enough to get you into heaven. Here’s the important thing, nothing you do will ever be good enough to earn you any righteousness to get you into heaven, because all our works are filthy rags when compared to God’s righteousness, and it’s HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS that our works are going to be tested against, and anyone trusting in their works to enter God’s kingdom will fall short, and go to the pit for eternity. The only ones who are going to enter God’s kingdom are those who know that they have NOTHING to offer God in the way of works for righteousness, who know they deserve the pit for eternity, but they have put their faith in the shed ßIood of Christ taking away their sîns, and they know they have been clothed in the perfect righteousness of Christ by faith. I was justified at the cross of Christ. My works are for God’s glory, and rewards only, and not for righteousness. Jesus purchased my entry into God’s kingdom with His precious ßIood, and I can never lose what His ßIood purchased for me. That’s the true gospel. And because Jesus arose the 3rd day, I too have been given spiritual life without end through Him. Thank You Lord Jesus!

It is written in the Holy Scriptures recorded in the Holy Bible, that even the elite would be deceived in the last days. Andy Stanley is an elite, already deceived. Yes, he needs for the Church to pray for him and for others that have also been deceived. Father in Heaven, by the power of your Holy Spirit, please help them to come back to the TRUTH, and please help us, to not fall into that kind of deception, or any other deception. Im 65 and l never heard of it until l was a teenager and l remember being shocked that was even a thing! There was one kid in our small town, it was rumored was because of the way he acted, which was flat out weird and he liked acting that way to shock people and as a result was an outcast. I’m disgusted with this world as it is now. Stood against these things for years, as did many others, but society is going down the tubes. People desire and want sinfulness.

I thought that was the weirdest thing I even seen, I shown my Mother that and she said, " well honey you will see more of that coming out of the wood works after I'm gone" and she was right. I used to be in Bishop Earl Paulk's church, it was devastating to start seeing how twisted his kingdom message was.
I was a new believer going to that church, I was so excited to be saved and to serve, I was very close to him and his brother, I served in so many ministries there. But the Holy Spirit started to convict me and I actually berated myself, because who was I to question Earl Paulk, but I prayed and asked to be shown the truth.
I started to research false teaching and it made me sick!!
I never went back, I got a call from on of the pastors asking where I had been, I told her why I left, she rebuked me, but I stood up to her, then the huge scandal came out all over the news in Atlanta.
I felt like I had been spiritually raped, it took years to heal, today I do not attend any church.
I pray for the members who have left Andy Stanley, God will take care of all the false teachers.

In the past, I quietly but deliberately walked out of a service where the preacher was teaching false doctrine. That evening and the next day, several people called me to find out why I left. I was then able to tell them why. In turn, several of them shared with me that they were also appalled by what the preacher had preached that morning. Unfortunately, too many people are either afraid or just not willing to take a stand for the Truth.

After attending a "church" for almost 2 years, I did exactly the same in the middle of a "service", standing up and shaking my head and walking out. I had no idea people were taking note. I had received calls for the next week from a few that were having questions but saw me shake my head and the look of disgust on my face as I walked out of the auditorium. What odd calls to receive as I recall them trying to ask a basic stranger why they walked out shaking their head.
Jody, I'm sure it was awkward, but I wouldn't think it strange or odd at all for members of a congregation to take note of someone who deliberately walks out of a service. In fact, I'd be surprised if most people didn't notice and have some concern. Imagine how you might have felt had no one even so much as seemed to care that you had a problem with what was being taught.
If the pastor's teaching was so appalling that it would cause you to make a public show of disgust in front of others who obviously support the church, then hopefully you had the ability to follow through and articulate your concerns so that no more mystery should be left in any of their minds.
Also, just curious, but what was being taught that was so bad you would walk out in the middle of service? Explaining could be helpful to others who may find themselves in similar situations. Thanks 🙏
Not sure I would leave quietly. I wouldn't yell, but I'd be seen leaving.
I love my niece very much, however she chose a lesbian lifestyle. And asked if she should send me an invitation to her same sex wedding. I said I love you, but no. I could not go and celebrate sin, others in my family said they were going to support her, but I felt I would be a stumbling block. And anyone who saw me there would conclude I agreed. I could not risk another persons salvation either. I believe according to Roman 1, it is not biblical marriage. Now they are divorced. Her wife turned out to be a very cruel, and indicative person. We are praying for her healing, heart, mind and soul.🙏🏻 What Andy Stanley is allowing is a slow fade into tremendous pain for people. Sin is a choice, it all starts with a thought. We need to take our thoughts captive to Christ. The Holy Spirit convicts us when we step into sin.....how did he miss that? I have listened to his dad, such an amazing preacher.....and when he preached it was turn to your bible and read together. I pray Andy Stanley will repent, confess to his congregation and heal. So many lives at stake here.
Well done. Obedience is not always easy. We can not love mother, father, sister, brother, etc more than the Lord. Your decision was a testimony and sends a strong message that could ultimately open her eyes.

Pretty clear, though, that he is an overt supporter of gay rights. The church is supposed to be a place where change and transformation takes place, not a place where one remains in their sin.

Actually, far too often, Andy's problem is that he is VERY specific. Many times you have listen to his entire sermon series because he keeps narrowing things down and defining his topic over a period of weeks, rather than giving a single simple statement. He's certainly been guilty of saying some bad things, but he's more often guilty of taking so long to say what he wants to say and of trying to be so specific about exactly what he wants to say with all of the nuance that he wants to include that most people either can't or won't stick with him to the end and he ends up being described in sound bites. Also, very often, he is not interested in telling people what they want to know. This message, for example, was never intended to say what many people in the Christian community want to know: i.e., do you or do you not condone a homosexual lifestyle for Christians? This message was specifically and only to explain the purpose and development of a conference designed to encourage the parents of children dealing with same sex attraction. That was what he wanted to tell people. Unfortunately, that is not what the Christian community, at large, wants to know. But he also isn't speaking to the Christian community at large. He was specifically and only speaking to his congregation. He was fairly explicit about that.
I had a bad church experience for decades. The Methodist Church never preached the Gospel. I didn't hear it until I was in another church when I was in college. How many people do these false teachers send to hell

During the talking times of Andy I found myself speaking truth back to him, and then smiling as you stopped the clip of Andy to actually say word for word the truth from God’s Word that I had just spoken out loud. Our God has given us His Word and His Word is Jesus! It’s alarming to see others who profess God but not use His Word for decision making in these end times. Sad to see Andy worship man and sin over God’s Word!

I was at a church that celebrated Halloween the day after Halloween. They celebrated it by dancing on stage to Thriller in demonic costumes and showed a video they made about a new man coming to church for his first time and when he pulled in the parking lot the church members helping to park cars looked like demons then they turned into normal people, when he got in the church and opened the door the members seating people looked demonic and then turned into regular looking people. I was the only one that left. One of the officers that was there (no idea why their was police there) but she came up to my car and asked if I was ok because I was crying and she also said she agreed that it was very strange. There was more that happened because I talked to the associate pastor before I left and really called him out.
It’s just so obvious when people are worshiping themselves and their feelings as to worshipping our Holy God. It’s all about them.
I can’t imagine what his father went thru with him teaching these things. What went wrong with him to teach the things he was teaching.
According to Andy Stanley’s philosophy, I could STILL be strung out on drugs, stealing cars and motorcycles, and having all the sex I want outside of marriage, because, you know, me and Jesus are tight, right? I live in the burbs of Atl, but I do not keep up with this guy. Just listening to him on podcasts like this, my observation is that he is likely to come out as gay in the future. Andy's methods may promote grace more than law but he's not a heretic.
@@konroh2 God sees it as "greasy grace" and it's really taking advantage of His mercy. That's not a good place to go. In Jesus' day the Pharisees were of the wrong spirit, and even while they followed God's rules, they were turning them into a "niceness contest" rather than letting sincere Love blow through their souls. They were secretly miserable and ended up crucifying their Saviour...
@@catseye4332 It seems the Pharisees problem was external legalism, not internal holiness and grace. Andy certainly stresses actual love and grace. I'm not sure the Pharisees were all that nice, they seem quite prickly. But the point is we need both holiness and love.

Then, Salvation is not obtained through stepping on & misrepresenting the truth, nor in ignoring what is correct before The Lord & living life IN your sins. That's s simple deception!
God places boundaries, not on His love for us, but on what we are allowed to do with His love. Yes, He does! & To not do so, would also be a great deception towards the few faithful that get up every morning asking His Spirit to lead... Deception, because if not through boundaries, how else do we know what is acceptable & what is not? Who can & will not be saved is not based on one person's preference, but solely on our own choosing. Those saved, are those who chose to obey daily. It's not easy, but it's possible. It'snot always or hardly ever what I had in mind for myself; but it is what will keep me connected with My Savior. So you see, this man you defend so much, without Christ in the middle of his solution, is not leading them to a.n.y.t.h.i.n.g good at all!

I went through a period in my life where I was curious what it would be like to be intimate with a female. That curiosity started turning to images in my head. Then every once in a while I would feel slightly aroused around a very pretty woman. I’ve been a Christian since I was 10, and when the arousal started, I knew this was a demonic attack. I prayed and cried at times for God to take it away and asked why is this happening. He told me very clearly one day, “because you want to look like them”. As soon as He said that, the attack broke off. He showed for me personally, it was rooted in an insecurity of myself and my body. See, I’m small framed and petite, not voluptuous in an way, so I had always felt like I was trapped in a little girls body even though I was a grown adult. God dealt with me❤ The key was that every time the attraction or thought came, I submitted it to the Lord and told Him I knew this wasn’t His will. I asked for the desire to be taken away. I struggled with this for almost a year, but He is faithful!!! When we want to grip into sin, it will overtake us. When we want to give it up, God will fight that battle for us and we can be free!!!

I commend the human Stanley for his *attempts* to reconcile the issue but regret the pastor Stanley has not found a biblical way to do this... I can tell you as a church youth group volunteer this is a huge unaddressed topic: how do you encourage questioning youth to continue to pursue Jesus without affirming their unbiblical lifestyle pursuits? The question goes way beyond sexuality. Telling a youth the black and white of specific sin only results in never seeing that youth again. I choose to address it by saying the bible is clear about what is good and what is bad for mankind's relationship with God but not everybody, including me, is always ready to hear it. That's where I depend on the Holy Spirit to convict me. So the real question is "are you WILLING to be tender to the conviction of the Holy Spirit and WILLING to do the work of hearing it?" It doesn't matter one wit if I affirm their choices - it only depends if God does... so if they're willing to dig in and do the work - i.e. daily prayer, scripture worship etc I'm not going to be their holy spirit. I can tell you from personal experience this approach has mixed results but is far better than the alternative. I refuse to stop loving sinners - after all that's the entirety of humanity. That said, there's only so much time in the world and I have to confine my resources to only engaging in those honestly seeking how to biblically live life even if it doesn't look perfect at that moment. I'm very open to criticism that helps to refine this issue.
edit: On another note, regarding what Jesus taught... Theres a Talmudic researcher I heard years ago (Dr. Satinover I think) explain the only other time in history gay marriage was affirmed was prior to the flood. This leads to a whole new understanding of Christ's warning about the days of Noah!
I have no problem with Stanley's "3 rules" but, in light of this Talmudic discovery, if he actually knew what Jesus taught, they don't mean what he thinks it does...

I was at Big Stuff Camp in Daytona where Andy Stanley gave the best purity/sex talk I’ve ever heard. It was the next year that his presentation was recorded. To this day I wish I had a recording of that presentation as it was not only easy to understand but 100% Biblical. I would have to have his (this) presentation in context to make a real determination about this spliced message.

I find Andy to be full of himself, and very arrogant. I would like to know when was the last time he spoke in his church about repentance from sin.

There are more churches who are being ambiguous just like this church of Andy Stanley. I believe that sometimes these kind of churches are either to scared to confront the sins in the world due to pressures in the community or they mean to reach out to those homosexual but in the wrong way. Sometimes they even don’t want to say whether it was right or wrong on homosexuality. It’s scary! I have been going to this church for almost a year now but yesterday my husband and I went to a more Pentecostal church and teaching was aligned with what I believe. It’s a bit far from home but I don’t want my soul to dry out soon. So I think we will be going back to the new church.
Maybe homeschool the child or send them to A private school get the child away from the people that encourage lifestyles that are against what God would want if parents could only be more involved .
Andy Stanley assumes the church is always at fault when a same-sex-attracted person leaves the Church. Really? The person who is drawn to sin is never responsible for leaving?

Andy Stanley is just mind boggling. Every time I hear him I shake my head and raise my hands, speechless. I can't think of where to begin. I've posted before that my wife and I left the once conservative, expositional church we attended and were very involved in b/c I was severely reprimanded for teaching against false teachers and teaching, including Andy Stanley. The senior pastor told me, and I quote, "I've listened to 20 sermons of his and I haven't heard anything I disagree with". Unbelievable!!
There are a number of denominations churches who are affirming this heresy .

There's only one "version" of the Bible. And this is why I have had such a hard time finding a good church. I don't want someone to preach their interpretation of what is actually there.
