No way they would kill a DISNEY character, same with Sora Kairi and Riku. Thats a risky move by square. Also, aqua and ven just have to survive. Only person I can see dying is Terra.
BlueBullsGaming well Square Enix has been also referred to as TROLL Enix on the internet, so I could see them killing someone off we least expect just to be a dick and make people sad lol. Remember the melt down people had with Final Fantasy 7 and Arieth dying? lol

KH1: Sora sacrificed himself assumed he was gone(or dead) then came back
KH2: Goofy sacrificed himself assumed he was dead then came back

I feel as though Riku will sacrifice himself for Sora. As he's dying, Sora would say something like "How could it be you?! You were always better than me at everything!" Then Riku would say "No, there's something you were always better at... Sharing your light with everyone else." Or something along those lines. (I'd probably cry)
Then, I feel like Aqua will be forced to kill Terra for good. Ventus will get upset with Aqua, thinking that there was a way to save Terra. Another heart jerker.
Everyone else is questionable. Sora isn't dying, Ventus isn't, nor Kairi. Though Aqua might go. I could see Aqua giving her life to let Terra live.
Nope I think Ventus would fight Terra and bring up a quote like.."It's just like the old days, Terra what happened to your dream..our dreams.." Or something like that.Donald and Goofy won't die idk why he would bring that up.

Kairi dies. Rikku gives into the darkness again out of rage. Ansem turns out to still be within Rikku and regains control. Sora and Rikku fight. The X-blade is formed. Sora is forced to kill Rikku. Sora defeats Xehanort. Sora sets off to try and bring back his friends, and becomes the main villian for the next story arc.

Ya I think they should though because for long time fans that have played all the games from 1 to dream drop and know the whole story we played them as kids or some adults till now we should see something a little darker but in bbs terra basically died and in kh2 you killed a bunch of xiii members so I don't doubt maybe 1 important character possibly dieing

Well I don't know. Killing of any main characters is really not such a good idea. Any hardcore fans would be in rage. I just thought that maybe Square should leave the the main casts alone. You know, like Sora, Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Axel, Ven, Aqua and Terra. But that's my opinion though.
yes.in the secret movie of kh bbs it was shown that Terra is fighting Xehanort of control over his body so obviously he is alive.
I have been a fan of kingdom hearts series for over 10 years and I know the story as good as the original writer also I have played every single game till today but honestly I hope to see some more sacrifices in kh 3.
I would like to see a darker atmosphere.even if none of the main characters will die.
Same here. Been a fan since I was 16 and that was more than 10 years ago, too. But I don't think I'm ready for any sacrifices cause it'll be too painful to bear. Okay, I'm not being over dramatic but it's true!

***** Characters in disney worlds can die. Simbas dad dieng is part of the actualy plot so is the captain after the black pearl was destined to die in the plot as well.

I think if anyone had to kill Terra, the smartest thing to do to get the strongest emotional reaction out of us would be for Ventus to do the deed.
We've seen Aqua vs Terra already and several times. And while if they do kill Terra off, (Most likely will.) it would bring a sense of finality and sadness.
However with Ven vs Terra, I feel those of use would have our heartstrings yanked a lot harder and it would be great for character development.
I hope in KH3 Sephiroth steps on his own hair and breaks his neck on his boss fight and he's replaced by Lavos as a result.

If Sora, Kairi, Or Terra were to die, there's an extermely strong chance they wouldn't be able to come back. Since they have technically died once,(Proven by them having nobodies) so now they cannot form another nobody, so they will just die. Oh and xion will never come back she was an artificial puppet so she had no true somebody. She's kinda like riku replica.

Kairi never died. The closest she came was in KH1 when she lost her heart. But her heart was in Sora, thus why she never had a heartless nor a nobody. If that's the case like you said, Ven would have a heartless and a nobody as well since it's the exact same situation.
Actually namine is kairis nobody.
When people become Heartless, they don't die. No idea what happens to their original bodies, but no, they don't die. (Forgot where I found this at, but you can find it somewhere on the web)
OldFashionedKO Kairi became an empty shell with her heart residing in Sora, creating a nobody and not a heartless because as a princess of heart she has no darkness. I felt that Namine should not have the ability to control darkness as well because of this but that is not true.
Nobody is going to die. It wouldn't make sense to close out the Xeanort saga with someone dying. It would lead into another game of trying to bring back that person.
No Disney Character is going to die because simply put.. they are a Disney Character.
Riku wont die. i mean your scenario is plausible but i cant see it happening. To have Sora dedicate himself so much to saving his two friends on this long LONG journey to now would be a real kick in the nuts and i doubt it would score points with the community at large.
Kairi will not die. She is one of the princesses of heart. It wouldnt make sense to kill her off.
Lea is on a quest to bring back Roxas,Xion, Namine and Isa. Wouldn't it not also be a major blow to the player for them to be brought back and he disappear from existence?
Terra, Aqua and Ventus have already been put through so much. With so much absence from the games bar the one that featured them I cant see Nomura killing off these characters and not leaving himself the option to further their stories.
Finally i know we all played this many many years ago and we have grown up since but this game is still fundamentally aim at a far younger audience than us die hard fans. Killing characters off is not a good focal point in a kid friendly game.
The only character to truly have been killed off is Eraqus and that was in BBS which is slightly more edgy than its counterparts. Nobody dies...I cant see it happening here.... and what kind of happy ending is that?

In kingdom hearts 3 everybody knows that Xehanort will die.
I honestly have a gut feeling Riku is going to die. No idea why I feel it.
Ok picture this. Master xehanort kills kiari. Sora in disbelief stands there stunned as master xehanort goes for him. Riku is yelling frantically at sora to pull himself together. Sora is about to be killed by xehanort when riku takes the hit for him. Riku and kiari the ones he has been searching for his whole journey lie motionless in front of him. Then he hears kiaries voice in his head "sora!" Just in time for sora to dodge xehanorts next attack. "Sora pull yourself together" he hears riku say in his head. Sora becomes deeply sad. A tear rolls down his face. King Mickey jumps over sora and hits xehanort away. Mickey says to sora "sora! They sacrificed themselves so that you could be safe. You can't let their lives go to waist by giving up so easily." Mickey reaches out his hand. Sora takes his hand and stands up. "Riku....kiari" he says. "I will take this opritunity you gave me." Then Sora goes into drive form which has been unavailable the whole game. This would be so legit. This is just a basic idea of course riku and kiaris scene would be slow motioned or something.

Pretty legit sounds buyable however you do have to realise goffy didn't die in kingdom hearts 2 so most likely no hero will be slain however somehow I get the idea that for some reason yen Sid is going to die to make light prevail

Riku sacrifices himself to the darkness in the end of kh3, to take down Xehanort. Ventus, Aqua, and Terra go away and thank them. Guardians are Sora, with Roxas in him, Aqua, Ventus, Kairi with Namine/Xion in her, Lea/Axel, and Riku, and Mickey. Terra isn't because he'll join Riku inside of the darkness. In later Kh games, Sora, Kairi, and Lea try to get Riku back, and Aqua, and Ventus, try to get Terra back, with Mickey helping them both. (they are in different worlds/areas.)
Xion is a part of Sora, particularly the memories of Kairi and maybe some others because Xion looks different to many people. Xygbar sees Xion as Ventus because Ventus is in Sora's heart and Xygbar knows Ventus from his past life.
Xion is sora's memories of Kairi. So I mean she's kinda Kairi.
IPvm MattI no, if you played Days. Roxas and Xion where unknowingly fighting over the power of Sora, as Roxas got stronger Xion couldn't summon the keyblade. At the end they were close to Xion either consuming Roxas or giving back the power that Roxas gets to summon 2 keyblades
Collin L Yeah, Xion is apart of Sora's memories, but she is also how Sora remembered Kairi.
I don't think roxas will be in sora because I believe he is one of the 7 lights
i have a feeling sora, kairi, roxas, namine, xion, vanitas and ventus will die but be revived by kingdom hearts. I say that because I think that Kingdom Hearts III will end up having a sort of unforeseen climax. think of it this way, the guardians of light might've already been chosen to protect kingdom hearts but what if for some reason Riku, Mickey, Aqua, and Terra were NOT supposed to be fighting the 13 darknesses. now if we think about this Vanitas was created from Ventus's heart and bared a resemblance to Sora after Ven's heart was healed by the light in Sora's newborn heart. after reuniting vanitas and Ven's hearts at the end of the climactic X-blade battle they decided to call out to the young boy who helped Ven before, Sora and they merged with his heart. Kairi had a spell placed on her by Aqua in Birth by Sleep to protect her heart of light which went into hiding within Sora's heart. Namine was created as a result of Kairi's heart hiding in Sora. Namine was used to help create Xion who was made out of Sora's memories of Kairi that Namine had stripped from him. and Roxas was sora's nobody created when sora became a heartless in the original kingdom hearts. now the X-blade can only be forged if 7 Hearts of Pure light battle 13 pieces of darkness. if we consider the possibility that Vanitas is supposed to be the 13th darkness and if xehanort abandons him for the power he so desperately seeked something could happen to Vanitas that would cause him to side with sora, we could probably have the true 7 lights since Ventus, Vanitas, Roxas, Xion, Kairi and Namine were able to exist or survive this long because of Sora. each of them had a place, were created, or were healed because of sora's heart. they were all a piece of sora's heart and were involved with him the most throughout the entire series. yes riku, mickey, Donald, goofy, aqua, and terra were played big parts in his life but their hearts were strong enough alone, they never ended up needing refuge in sora's heart. Sora, Roxas, Ventus, Vanitas, Kairi, Namine, and Xion shared between the seven of them. they are one person to put it another way. now I know vanitas is ven's darkness but he still shared Sora's heart after reuniting with Ven. he could've been exposed to a little to much light from sora's heart and left a little bit of darkness inside sora which could explain sora's heartless form when his valor, wisdom, master or whatever forms wouldn't work in KHII. I mean Xehanort is collecting members who are "sharing" or possessing a piece of his heart to represent 13 darknesses. maybe it needs the same sort of idea with the side of light
This is kind of with HMK's put with some other things. I think there are going to be 5 stories. Team 1: Sora, Riku, and Kairi Team 2: Roxas, Axel, and Xion Team 3: Ventus, Tera (Is that his name? never played BBS) and Aqua Team 4: Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, and Goofy. The final story will be available ONLY when you finish the other stories. The Final Team: Sora, Roxas, Ventus. All of the stories will intervene and it would be epic.

With all the different stories you make this sound like sonic heroes because I've never played the game but I'm pretty sure that's exactly how it worked

While this idea is pretty nice, it's already seen that sora is with donald and goofy. Maybe riku Mickey and kairi? It would be like bbs. One is good with strength (riku) one is good all around (Mickey) one specializes in magic (kairi)
Sadly I don't see Riku surviving... No real reason, he just seems like the type of character that dies in these kinds of stories

-If Ruki,Kairi,or Sora die I will cry for ever.
-I want Yen Sid to die..One of the Xehanorts assasinates him..
-I want Terra, Aqua, and Ventus all to be okay and be fine after all of this...
-I want them to do a fake death with Riku/Kairi/Sora. Where they all think one of them died and the others go crazy and kill the Xehanorts and after the whole battle they end up being alive..(Mostly Kairi because Riku and Sora both love her (Mostly Sora ^.^)
-Kairi and Sora to kiss (Like a disney princess thing maybe :3)
-I want Kairi to be like 'I REMEMBER YOU' to Aqua..(Cuz why not c:)
-Also Axel is sooo much cooler then Lea...
Here are my thoughts (feel free to comment):
1) Sora - I don't believe he will die, but if he does it will be because he has to return Ven's heart. I wonder if the fact that Ven's heart has been with Sora for 10+ years that their hearts have fused to a point that if Ven's heart goes, I wonder if Sora's will simply stop. If not, he will lose the ability to carry the keyblade (this has been confirmed in BBS and DDD) and the 7 guardians of light will finally make sense (Riku, Ven, Terra, Aqua, King Mickey, Lea and Kairi) with Sora not being one of them as the keyblade never chose him originally. Further I quote him saying "I don't care if the keyblade didn't choose me. I am proud to be a part of the people it did choose" -Sora Dream, Drop, Distance. I don't think Sora will die, but I will be interested to see what they will do for the 7 guardians of light. Chance of death: Very Low
2) Riku - I would agree he has a good chance of dying, but not at the hands of Master Xehanort. If the new organization is going to appear as is (with confirmed 6 members are: Master Xehanort, Xemnas, Xehanort's Heartless, Saix, Braig and Youngest Xehanort), I would believe it would be against Xehanort's Heartless that their "destined battle" happens. It's been pretty evident throughout Chain of Memories, 2 and Dream Drop Distance that Riku's main antagonist is Xehanort's Heartless as Riku has practically fought this guy 4x more than Sora ever has. If Riku does die, I have a feeling it might be to him at the end of the game. Chance of Death - Medium
3) Kairi - Regrettably I do not think she will die (although I kind of want her to due to the fact that she has been useless throughout the entire series as a character). This of course will change my opinion if she has a more developed character in 3 other than the "damsel in distress" that she has played consistently throughout the other games. Chance of Death - Very Low
4) Donald, Goofy & King Mickey - Not even a chance of them dying period. The stuff they are put through in their cartoons is 10x worse than anything they have been through in any KH game. Plus with the fact that they are disney characters? This is a kid's game, Disney icons don't die. It would never be authorized by Disney period. Chance of Death - Impossible.
5) Ven - I think he could die trying to protect Aqua & Terra, the same could be said for Aqua or Terra. I think he would likely die by Youngest Xehanort. I'd say he has a fairly good chance of dying in a way that meant sacrificing himself for his friends that he cared about through all of BBS. Chance of Death - Medium
6) Aqua - Similar to Ven, she'll do anything to protect her friends. Chance of Death - Medium
7) Terra - If he comes back I have a feeling that he has a high chance of dying against Master Xehanort himself. He has had the whole vendetta against Xehanort and has vowed that at the end of BBS he would make it right. I have a feeling that he could very well die failing against Xehanort or take Xehanort with him as a means of redeeming himself and protecting both Ven and Aqua. Chance of Death - Very High
8) Lea - I did want to add in this character as his relationship with Roxas and Xion was significant and the fact that he sacrificed himself as Axel in KH 2 tells a lot about what he would do to protect his friends. We have not yet fully seen the rivalry between Isa and Lea or their backstory which needs to be developed for 3. If anything I can picture these 2 taking each other out. Chance of Death - Medium - High

I think that lea will die. Not because I want him to die but I feel that maybe in the game sofa and kairi are in danger and thinks back to the time when he lost roxas and xion. Maybe he doesn't want Riku to feel the same way he does so he sacrifices himself to save both of them. / when he does it is at that moment that roxas and xion appear in front of him
i believe riku is going to sacrifice himself, characters like him always do this, a tragic hero, he started off good, goes bad for a little bit, then is good again after realizing his mistakes

Well it's not just that they lied to. Nomura is always saying that what he says is not final, look at the extra scene at the end of Kingdom Hearts, it was meant to appear in Kingdom Hearts II but instead was in 358/2 days. We could still play as Sora in other ways like another side game appearing before Kingdom Hearts 3 or one using a different version of Sora like Re:coded.

I feel like Terra will attempt to sacrifice himself to save Ventus at the end, but Master Eraqus, who seems to be still technically alive inside Terra, appears and takes the blow for himself, telling Terra that he always viewed him as a son or something like that
I'm really hoping that KH3 has a really dark plot where Xehanort gains control of Kingdom Hearts and shrouds the worlds with darkness leaving the little that remains to be in complete chaos. Sora and friends are powerless to stop the forces of darkness and the worlds go to ruin, at least they almost do, until Sora discovers a new type of power (or something that can stop Xehanort for good). This would make for an excellent plot IMO.
I hope so too, or even just a little darker story than previous games

They said in 3D that when a Heartless and Nobody die, the human comes back. Ansem and Xemnas were destroyed and Master Xehanort came back (not Terra-Xehanort). So Terra might come back separately?

Riku is also a possible candidate for Terra's rescue/death. Considering that when you go to battle his LS, he mentions something about Sora not being the one he picked, as that was Riku. And since back in KH1, Riku fell to darkness, Riku's original Keyblade fled to Sora. Since they ARE going to the Keyblade Graveyard, where the LS is resting, mayybeeee something could happen??? Idk. I really do wish Terra could be saved. :( He's my favourite character, though my hopes are reallllyyy low.

Mickey, Donald and Goofy won't die for one simple reason: Disney won't allow it.
AFAIC, I think the one who's the most likely to die, unfortunately, is Kairi.
Because Riku has already disappeared in the Darkness at the end of KHI, so that would be just a reash, and killing off Ventus, Aqua or Terra wouldn't make much sense: we've seen them, so far, in only one entry of the series, so we're not as involved in them as other characters. If they want to go for a HUGE shocker, it has to be Kairi.
Disney doesn't kill princesses they live Kairi would be a shocker but they prob would pull some bs and bring her back any way Riku and Terra would make seance all be ita stupid bc they are the same in the dark ways the fight with Micky would be like Yoda in the sense like its so obvious why he would die for no story value i think the bbs and Riku die in the opening so its just all out war by the end so every one kills every one, who are the other 10 of the original 13 though? xanourt will die so villain wise we know

Terra is full of darkness right now likw how once his KIN riku was. He will most likely be saved from the darkness and become pure like riku. Xehanort is currently just using his darkness like he wanted from the star. If anyone is to die in KH3 it would be Lea. Disney characters wont die.
Terra,Ven and Aqua die, and Sora, Riku and Kairi go back to their world, but their world is locked, like at the end of KH3 nobody can no longer affect their world they say goodbye to the others, and then THE END
In my view, they would only kill off a character that's character arc is completed, unless it's a major Disney character NOT named Mufasa or a Disney Villain. Characters who are safe are most likely:
Sora
Kairi
Ventus
Donald
Goofy
Mickey
Characters who are in SERIOUS DANGER IMO:
Riku
Lea
Terra
Aqua
Yen Sid
Reasons Why?:
Sora: Square Enix has already confirmed that Sora will be the main protagonist in the following saga. He's safe...or is he?
Kairi: Though killing off Kairi would undoubtedly plunge Sora into a deep unyielding darkness, she's a princess of heart. If Disney killed off any of their princesses, that would be pretty ballsy of them. Just saying
Ventus: Ventus has a fair chance of getting axed off, but that would be by sacrificing himself to let Sora continue on with his journey. Considering he is a part of Sora, I still think he's safe.
Donald, Goofy, Mickey: Do I even need to say it?
Riku: Riku's character arc is complete. He's conquered both the darkness and the doubt inside of himself and has become a master. The only real arc I could see him having left is being too protective of Sora and Kairi. Yen Sid: This death would make Mickey have to take charge, especially if he dies right before the battle in the Keyblade Graveyard.
Possible scenario: The Guardians of Light and Seekers of Darkness face off on the Keyblade Graveyard. Terra is with the Seekers. Aqua and Ven see him and are shocked. Terra channels the Darkness in Aqua that is lingering from her being in the Realm of Darkness for so long. Aqua knocks out Ven and attacks Kairi. Sora sacrifices himself for Kairi, but Kairi gets cut down anyways. Aqua realizes what she's done, and in that moment, Terra takes her out. Ven gets super mad and goes to attack Terra. Mickey jumps in to help, but Vanitas gets in the way. Mickey slays Vanitas right when Terra kills Ventus. Riku is facing off with Ansem and his Guardian. Meanwhile, Sora is in the Realm of Light after being killed. He encounters Eraqus and tells him whats going on. Eraqus gives Sora his powers (like the summoning balls of Light thing among others) and Sora is revived. He sees Kairi dead and Riku losing. Mickey is running after Xehanort and Donald & Goofy are fighting with another Seeker. Sora channels the Light powers Eraqus gave him and just goes ham with the flow motion, zipping around the battlefield, reviving fallen comrades, and kicking ass in general.
KH1 - Soras 'Sacrifice'.

Square Enix I hope your reading this. After 3 boss battles in different worlds. Sora, Aqua,and Riku are together. They now they are in the place (I forgot) where Ventus was put from the ending in birth by sleep. They see him and suddenly Terra shows up.
Aqua tells Sora an Riku (after saying stuff to controlled Terra)that she will awake Ventus while they hold off terra or save him.
(15 minutes of battle later) Ventus is saved. Terra is sort of saved. Xenhort says: If your true friends then would you offer your life for him. Terra: don't, end me so he doesn't stay powerful. Aqua gets a tear down from her eye to her cheek. Terra: Aqua and Ventus, defeat him for me, master eraquis and everyone who has been lost. Terra: Ventus, I'm happy to see you and Aqua alive but... you and Aqua already know what one of you have to do. Aqua: VEN don't, there is still a chance that we can save him! Please TERRA stop saying that(Aqua sobbing while Ven is looking down with a tear)!

"Terra, Aqua, and Ventus, the're fates are shrouded in mystery, but don't fear you fans, because Sora will come and help them, it has been confirmed, Sora will meet Aqua, Terra, and Ventus, and they will fight the evil Xehonort , and destroy him for good." That is my prophecy, for the KH3. My work is done for now.
before I watch the vid, I think It could be Riku,not because I want him to die or something I just think Sora seeing his best friend die , could unleash a sort of anger or hatred followed by darkness in which sora has to overcome his feelings to protect the realm of light , it would be very touching to see sora's last words with Riku after the realm of light is saved followed with the warriors of light coming together and finishing the game with some Simple and clean

My personal belief is that Donald is going too have some sort of death scene in Kingdom Hearts III, as that would follow the trend of Sora, Goofy, and Donald dying at some point.
KH: Sora sacrifices himself to save Kairi (then comes back)
KHII: Goofy sacrifices himself to save Mickey (then comes back)
KHIII: Donal will sacrifice himself to save Riku (then come back); the reason for this is it follows the suit, as Sora loves Kairi, and Goofy is Mickey's best friend; to add to this, it would also have the three friends of each character be saved, and because, you guessed it, all three of the people being saved are Keyblade wielders; now while Riku and Donald aren't that close, it'd still show a bond of some sort, would it not?
Personally, I think Kairi will get seriously hurt, Riku and Sora will take on the main baddy in a 2 v 1 but Riku will die leading Sora to let out his anger. He uses his keyblade along with Riku's and takes on Xehanort. He hears the voices of everyone he has met and helped in his head, cheering him on. The final voices he hears are Riku's and Kairi's and at that he kills Xehanort and saves everyone

And in the new E3 2015 Trailer of KH3 we saw - one of the good guys will die in the last battle. ( see chessboard and figures )

I could see Riku dying, and howevermuch I love him, I think it'd be a tragic and gut-wrenching climax, and it'd be memorable, so I'd be fine if that happened.

What if maybe something happened with the BBS trio, or maybe the other guardians couldn't fine them in time, so then Mickey and the others turn to three other Keyblade wielders: Roxas, Xion, and Lea. This is a rather random thought, but maybe Isa joined the new Organization because he was ashamed of how he'd betrayed his best friend for power, or even though he has what he wanted most, a heart, he doesn't feel anything, and he just doesn't want to be himself anymore, so he chooses to give himself up to oblivion as a vessel for Xehanort.
Just, please Square... Let Lea, Roxas, Xion, and Isa have a happy ending. I don't care too much about anyone else. Just have them be alright and sit on the clock tower and eat freakin' sea-salt ice cream!
If Aqua comes back in Kingdom Hearts 3, I would like to see her with long hair. Just like when Kairi waited for Sora and Riku's return, we see her hair longer than before. Just want to admit that. :p
I actually think Terra and Riku will die.
About Aqua being in the dark realm and stuff. If you played the final episode of BBS, she'll see Terra and Ven protect her from the Darksides and she'll say something like, "Huh. I almost forgot how to smile." And then she'll walk away. I think the fact that Terra and Ven are there to protect her will keep her positive and be able to come out of the darkness like Riku and Mickey did.
Actually, I think there are 3 possibilities which are really plausible :
- Nobody dies (in the Light side)
- Only Terra dies
- The whole BBS Trio dies, I'm gonna explin more this one : I imagine Ventus trying to save Terra from Xehanort (more than Aqua because he seems to think less than her (I mean Aqua would think of a plan before whereas Ventus only tries to save his friend)) but in the battle, he got killed, so Aqua fights Xehanort and kills him but there is no way to save Terra because the body is too damaged or something and finnaly she decides to comite suicide in order to join her friends !
I think that would be a good scenario, but honestly I think that nobody is gonna die, actually I even think people are gonna revive like Roxas and Xion (I hope they won't be back though I love Roxas and Xion is my favourite character in KH, I mean I love them because of their story, bringing them back would destroy this story)
Nobody has ever been really killed in KH in the Light side.
But, the BBS Trio dying would make sense : they transmitted their Keyblades to the the Destiny Trio (Sora, Riku, Kairi) and that would make too much Keyblade Wielders (8 if Terra comes back, 9 if Eraqus comes back) from the Light side.

I see it where in the final battle they were losing and then terra breaks free from xehanorts heart and destroys him, however in the process because xehanort's heart is part of him, terra dies. Thats when king micky is like "so it wasnt lea" or who ever it is "that was supposed to be on of the guardians of light, it was terra. without terra, we would have lost this war." or you know something like that. This is how i see the finale of KH3 happening. i hate to say it as terra is awesome and was one of my favorite characters, however when you look at how things might turn out in KH3, there aren't a lot of other options for people who might die.

its suppose to be guardians of LIGHT. Lea is still mostly darkness. Kairi is LIGHT. So Lea cant be a Guardian of LIGHT. But I think Lea will help out in KH3.

I'm 100% Sure no disney characters such as mickey donald or goofy will ever die. Disney would most likely have a problem with it, seeing as how they dissidia was meant to be a kingdom hearts styled game but was changed to final fantasy due to Disney. That last part I'm not 100% sure is true but it's what I've heard, and it kinda makes sense. I think it would be cool for their future games to not have Disney though, because they'd be completely free to do what they want.

I know you disagree with them dying, but I think the characters who should be killed of are Donald, Goofy and Mickey. Don't worry, I think their final moments should be their crowning moment of awesome. Donald and Goofy should perish mid-game when they save Sora's life from a Seeker of Darkness. Mickey dies late game fighting Xehanort, but not before injuring the fallen master and revealing he can be beaten. Here's why I think Donald, Goofy and Mickey should be killed off.
1. Gamers who have played the whole series so far have grown too emotionally attached to the original characters for Kingdom Hearts and REALLY want to see them succeed and killing any of them off in this game would be kinda unfair in their eyes. Keeping them alive and achieving their goals and happy ending while sacrificing Mickey, Donald and Goofy will make a powerful Earn your Happy Ending/Pyrrhic Victory hybrid ending. The original characters get what they want with some of them returning in the next saga, but at the same time gamers who grew up with Disney have to witness their childhood icons die in front of them, though their final moments were crowning moments of awesome.
2. Donald and Goofy's and Mickey roles along with the rest of the Disney side of Kingdom Hearts have diminished since Kingdom Hearts 1. Their story responsibilities have been reduced to barely more then comic relief and mere stops on the journey. So their part of the game story is running dry.
3. This is mean to be a much darker game. And Disney has had a reputation for making mostly light stuff. It'll be extremely difficult to impossible for the innocence of Disney to survive in this new darker game even though Disney world's will no doubt return.
4.(Last one) Kingdom Hearts is in the end it's own thing. Disney is simply along for the ride. Kingdom Hearts has it's own mythology, characters, locations etc etc. And really, what would you rather have in Kingdom Hearts? The Disney side? Or the Kingdom Hearts side? Also, I'm afraid I think Enix should boot Disney of production and either find another studio to work with or do it themselves. The reason is because Disney has a dark side that they desperately try to hide from the public. In recent years Disney has bought several entertainment corporations such as Marvel and has had a reputation of altering classic stories to the point they overshadow the originals. Also, Disney hates competition and sharing the spotlight. They even hate Pixar despite owning them, I bet that's the reason they're refusing to let Enix to use them. And the last reason I think they should be kicked off is because Disney is very deceptive and manipulative. Enix better get rid of them quickly or else they might end up being Disney's newest pawn via being bought.

The Disney characters whom you've seen in god knows how many other forms of media and will continue in god knows how many other forms of media, or the KH exclusive heroes who exist solely in this game, have their own unique storyline and character traits and gamers REALLy want to see succeed and earn their happy endings. Giving them their happy endings while sacrificing Mickey, Donald and Goofy will create a powerful Earn your happy ending/Pyrrhic victory hybrid ending. Kingdom Hearts is Kingdom Hearts first and Disney second.
The Disney stuff is what makes up 99% of the worlds, without Disney KH wouldn't have very many worlds at all, and Disney hating competition is only natural for any business (you want to be the sole provider so you can make and sell whatever you want)

I don't either Kairi or Sora would die. Riku would most likely die because of the reason he is the original protagonist. He was the initial keyblade wielder of the series but Sora was just second pick. Now that he's a keyblade master he is mostly likely going to do his duty and sacrifice his life to defend the light from the darkness.
Keep in mind that Ventus is locked in the very castle that the organization uses as a hideout/base. So I think the organization has known about ven, Terra, and aqua and they are mainly looking to take over Ventus or they already have because xehanort said he has a master of darkness. Or they have van it as somehow. But my point is it might be focused on sora finding ven and fighting his way through castle oblivion to the top of that tower where Ventus lay waiting

I don't see Riku dying at all, since he is Sora's Dream Eater after all. It was mentioned in Dream Drop that Riku was in fact Sora's Dream Eater becuase of the symbol on the back of his jacket, so I don't see him dying any time soon. I'm sorry for the spoilers for those who have not played Dream Drop yet or have not gotten that far, I am really sorry.

I kinda wish sora will end up dead... Mainly for the sacrificial thing, like he dies saving the rest (Bringing them to life) or something like that. I'd hate it, but i think it would be a nice way to close off Sora's Arc and introduce him as a legend for the next installments and Riku, Kairi e.t.c to go around carrying on the legend or whatever of Sora (Or the events of that war). I think it would just be a good way to send this arc off. Either that or all three of them perish while taking out the remaining members of the organization. I dunno I just want a really memorable way to end this trio's journey.

This is what I believe will happen in KH3: The Keyblade war will begin, and to get to Xhenort and the darkness seakers, The Gaurdians of light will get seperated and will attend several tests, to see if they are strlng enough to face Xhenort. When they finally get to him, they all fight together to finish Xhenort and the seakers indavidually, with Sora against Xhenort. The others defeat the seakers, but Sora is fighting a lost battle. With the power of thr X-blade, Xhenort obviously has the upperhand agianst Sora. With every inch of his strength, Sora defeats Xhenort with a crash, causing the Keyblade graveyard to start shaking violently. Then they see the true enemy. The X-blade, the ultimate keyblade was the ultimate mastermind, drenched in the darkness. The X-blade needed vessels to complete it's power, and to maximize it was to use the power of Kingdom Hearts. before wathcing this video, im guessing that riku might end up dying, somewhat like how sora "died" (exploiting his heart for the 7 princesses) but this time, sora has to go somewhere/"die" again to go to riku, without donald or goofy, and you travel with riku as a companion and you find cloud and he joins for a bit, then he leaves to help you escape or something, and you and riku defeat the huge boss at the end (all the evil disney characters mixed into one trying to take control of the body) and then return to kairi [remember, this is a theory and this would also be at the end of the game, not the entire story of the game] im probs way off tho
To see either Riku or Kairi die would just be somewhat powerful and to see what effect that it would have on Sora would be quite intresting. On a personal note, I would rather that Riku and Kairi don't perrish from the saga as it would feel very weird to not see any if them pop up in the saga and like Sora, I will proberly lose it and be delusional throughout the rest of the Kingdom Hearts saga.
I once heard something about Nomura saying that the concept of death doesn't really exist in KH (granted, that's just hearsay), and even with people who do seem to die, like Xion and Eraqus might still have a chance. (Xion is teased as one of the people Sora has to save, and Blank Points implies that Master Eraqus's heart has taken refuge within/is protecting Terra's heart. However, it's really unlikely he's coming back.)
My prediction is Isa will die at the end of his and Lea's fight, despite Lea's best efforts to save him. (I DO want Lea to have a happier ending with going back to Twilight Town with Xion, Namine, and Roxas, so it'll be very sad if he dies.) Or maybe Isa and Lea will both survive and kill Braig (since he was a willing vessel of Xehanort, and I don't believe Isa was.), tho both are heavily wounded in the process and are thus out of the fight for the remainder of the game. Xehanort, Ansem, and Xemnas can also all die.
revisiting this video and hearing what you mentioned about Aqua kind of pains me because of what was revealed. WHY AQUA?
I could honestly see Kairi being killed by one of the Xehanorts and sora becoming enraged or something along those lines and that becoming his motivation behind taking out the Xehanorts
Honestly, I can see Terra dying. Maybe they are unable to separate Xehanort from Terranort so he kills himself
Riku has the highest chance of dying IMO
I thought that Terra's soul was in his armor? Also, wasn't his original body destroyed given that his body was Xemnas' body?
What I think would be interesting would be Terra, Aqua, and Ventus sacrificing themselves in the end to put an end to Xehanort, and an end to the Keyblade War. However, as you said, in order to free Terra's heart, they have to kill Xehanort in Terra's body. And because they want to be with Terra, because he can no longer return without a body, they sacrifice themselves (also as a duty to Master Eraqus); that being why Sora and the crew head out to look for them! I'm definitely wrong, but I think that could be really powerful.
There is also the characters that we revisit in DDD - The game partners based on the spin-off THE WORLD ENDS WITH YOU... Shiki/Beat/Rhyme/Neku and Joshua these are characters that weren't really explored to their full potential and these lesser characters are likely to die... (Please correct me if im wrong I haven't played DDD all the way through - my knowledge might be misplaced)
