To me, I like the idea of casting out the childish side to him. But if by mature, they mean "Riku mature" that's going too far. Sora is my favorite character because of his constant joyful personality and such. If they were to take that away, it would not only ruin Sora's character for me, but possibly the entire series. Sora has always been the Star of Kingdom Hearts in my eyes. If they change him, it will basically change the entire series for me. But i'm hoping by mature, they mean less naive/idiotic moments, but still the joyful Sora I know and cherish.

Amelia The Writer Yeah, that's the maturity route they should take with Sora's character, Sora's my favorite too BTW. I also want Kairi to be more involved as well, because 1: I feel Kingdom Hearts is incomplete without her, 2: it could attract some more females into the series to see the strong sensible female lead. 3: Again I'm sorry for sounding like a broken record for this, but I want more of Sora and Kairi's relationship, I mean it been teased throughout 5 of the games and after coded they focused more on Riku and Sora. Don't get me wrong again Sora and Riku's friendship is one of the biggest parts of the series, but I want more of that deep connection that Sora and Kairi have and hopefully a kiss between them

Yeah, by mature I’m pretty sure they mean that he won’t trust someone in 5 seconds into meeting them.

I think a lot of people misinterpret Sora's cheerfulness and why he always seems to be happy. My thoughts are that Sora knows the times are getting darker and things becoming more serious, but he chooses to be the light hearted and happy person to keep everyone else from being too serious. He acts as the goofball to get his friends who are looking at everything that's going wrong to lighten up and look at the positive side of things. Maybe I'm reading too much into it, but that's personally how I view Sora. He's not just some overly cheerly and naive kid, he's considerate to what his friends are feeling, and doesn't want them to always think of the negative. I know this video was posted in like, August of 2014, but I still wanted to share my views.

TheCherryNerd being happy is one thing, but there are times when you need to be serious and handle the situation maturly. He just trusted Neku, a stranger he HAD JUST MET and even Neku pointed out how that is. Some times you need to think of the negitive to understand how serious the situation is

and dont forget he did have a moment when he thought a friend was dead remember goofies blow to the head during the battle of a thousand heartless his rage may have been quelled slightly because it was tempered by one sadness he just saw his friend die and being the kind hearted soul he is he reacted with shock and sadness first but then charged into battle with what i felt was a quiet rage he went down the path instead of jumping down the cliffs to go directly into the frey he seemed focused as if he is not letting him self feel until the heartless were gone but that could be me takeing my memory's of playing the game and geting things mixed up

Sora is serious when he needs to be, he is an optimist. I'm not saying that he should be happy go lucky every second of the game, but there's already enough serious characters, Riku, Roxas, Terra, Aqua etc. Sora's attitude is a nice break!

  • @beardlessdragon
    @beardlessdragon 10 років тому +5

Here is the thing about developing your characters: Character stories tend to go one of two ways. One, the character comes into the plot with something traumatic or at least emotional already hidden in their past. They must overcome this, open up about this to others, and/or free themselves of it, and this leads to their development. Since Sora had a pretty dang perfect and happy childhood as far as we can tell, he falls into the second category: characters who experience their trial/hardship during the course of the story's observed plot.
Sora hasn't had anything too terrible happen to him yet. Yes, it was hard losing Riku and watching the darkness consume him. Yes, it hurt to be separated from Kairi multiple times. But he still had hope to keep going and he was still able to push through the pain. That's fine, but they need to break him. I am a firm believer that the most powerful and compelling parts of a story come when the protagonist (or some important character) gets broken by the events around them. Sora is just now coming to that moment. The point in 3D when he falls to darkness after being captured/overtaken by Young Xehanort is the start of this. There has to be something in his story that causes him to question everything he is and everything he believes.
This doesn't mean we should lose the Sora that can always see the light. But it means he has to question why. He has to question WHY he keeps going and why he believes that the light will always win. Even if he loses himself for a while, this must happen for his character to progress in a captivating or powerful way.
We're putting our faith in you, Square. Blow us away with this game.

I think that Sora is already mature...
Take a look at all the characters in the series. Out of all of them, he is the one who communicates the most. Maturity doesn't mean going emo and keeping problems to yourself. It means to actually communicate and vocalise the problem and solve it. A prominent example of this is Birth by Sleep. That whole predicament could have been solved and prevented by simple communication between TVA. But it's as if Xehanort knew this and used it to his advantage. Had they actually sat down and spoke it out with each other, they could have solved all and prevented the tragedy from occurring. Now look at Sora in the first game on their visit to Deep Jungle. He was mad at Donald and vice-versa, but he stuck with him anyway and in the end apologised to him.
Another example? Riku. He was running away from his friends because he was afraid of what they may think of him and tried to solve it on his own. Even Sora says to him, "Come on man, why did you try to do so much on your own? You've got friends like us." Which one is REALLY showing the maturity here? What about in 358/2 Days? Roxas at least tried getting answers out of Axel, but Xion just kept it all to herself and suffered greatly.
Though Sora may be a goofball, that doesn't mean he isn't mature. On a psychological level, he is more so than the rest.

Sora is 14 in the first game and 15 in KH2, so he's not going to act like a 25-year-old. Plus, especially in KH1 you can see if you have any amount of perception he's actually quite angry and depressed a number of times throughout the game, he just acts upbeat so he can deal with it. When he unlocks his heart it's abundantly clear that those aren't just bad graphics, that smile is clearly faked to hide from Donald and Goofy that he's scared, not just stupid, but he goes through with it in order to save Kairi. And we've seen them QUITE pissed off multiple times throughout Chain of Memories.
Sora acts happy even when he's not because THAT'S HOW HE DEALS. Which in some ways is a sign of more maturity than most people possess. Also, if you don't like positive characters(as in, I still think Riku is cooler in many ways) he's more serious in KH2, and when his friends are in trouble? In KH he's thinking more about saving his friends and he's willing to beat up bad guys if he has to, but KH2 it's clear he very badly wants to THRASH everyone in Organization XIII for messing with his friends, even if he doesn't necessarily need to in order to stop them. It's been a while since I played KH2, but from what I recall he pretty much gets mad every third time he sees someone in a black cloak. Plus, he's got a lot more attitude. "Anyone from the Organization who'd like to be NEXT?!"
I didn't particularly like the way he acted in Dream Drop Distance, but the game makers had decided to make him behave younger and more happy-go-lucky because they thought it would be a younger audience playing the 3DS (as opposed to a PS3) and therefore wanted to create a Sora that appealed to a younger age group, rather than the way he acted in KH2.
As far as making a more mature Sora is concerned, it actually wouldn't take much. Three small, changes, barely noticeable by themselves, would make a profound impact on his character.
    1. Make a few of his jokes more sarcastic.
    2. Make him a little less trusting. (CRUCIAL: Less trusting of people he doesn't know as well, he should still have absolute trust in his close friends or it's too dramatic and too illogical a character change.)
    3. One or two very angry scenes.
    4. One scene where a tragedy makes him cry. It must be a serious tragedy, and we must see tears.
    5. More badass. No need to go crazy with it, just a few details here and there in the cutscenes and his fighting style that leaves an impression that he's pulled out the stops, there's no more holding back, and he's a true heavy hitter now. KH2 did some of that, with the more powerful fighting style that placed Donald and Goofy in roles more dedicated to supporting Sora than dishing out the hurt alongside him, plus his overall skill level clearly increased. (Not to mention the "Kill 1000 Heartless" mission and the outrageous Advent Children-style fight with Xemnas at the end)
As I said, a few of those changes worked in, but not trumpeted in a manner that called attention to themselves, just worked into Sora's personality and bearing as a whole, would be absolutely perfect.
Aaaaand that's all folks. Sorry for the rather long exposition, had an extra 5 minutes on my hands.

I can say that the closest that Sora's every gotten to pissed off is some of his interactions with Saix. It's not full on rage, but these scenes do demonstrate that he can get angry, notably the scene he learns that Kairi's been kidnapped; these scenes also show that Sora can feel desperation, hurt, anxiety, a wide range of emotions showing he honestly cares.
However, and if I can call this one of Sora's strengths during Kingdom Hearts II, he always manages to stay calm, but serious in a wide variety of scenarios. I know Dream Drop Distance reverted him back to how he used to be, but Kingdom Hearts II is the pinnacle of Sora's maturity and it's quite evident if you re-watch some of the cut-scenes (maybe we have Roxas to thank ^_^)

FizzyWizzy VicyLicky Depends how you define maturity. In many ways, Sora was already mature. Being hopeful doesn't mean you're immature, nor is it immature to act excited and happy-go-lucky over everything. That's just a part of who some people are. He does take serious matters to heart and he is very aware of his friend's emotions and needs. That's pretty mature.
Yes, he can also be naive in certain regards, but acting super happy and always lightening the mood doesn't automatically make someone immature.

I like how Sora is. But not because I like his personality, but because he's the exact opposite of what I like.
Roxas is my favorite character in the series, by far (followed by Riku), because of how dark and mature they are; very straightforward, often angry (with justification) and thinking about things in a very realistic perspective, whereas Sora is the exact opposite, only seeing the good in everything. Which is a huge part of his character. It was why he could say "Kingdom Hearts is light!" in the original game. Even DiZ asked Roxas to "share some of his hatred" with Sora, claiming that he was "far too nice for his own good". Personally, I think that that was foreshadowing exactly what you said. I think Sora might become more like Roxas, and not be so childish.
But at the same time, he can't be much darker. Sora is the epitome of "light". It's his innocence that makes him strong, and able to wield the keyblade.
    But I loved what you said about his anger. I could completely picture Sora finally unleashing his rage, and just the idea is amazing and gave me chills ^^;;

i was thinking about this last night too. even looking at kh2, he was a lot more mature in that game than kh1. back in kh1, he never sat back and thought about something before making a decision. he got confused a lot and we see him sit and struggle to wrap his head around a lot of things, but he was never really offered a choice in anything in which he didn't just jump into a decision. in kh2, he has a greater understanding on the world around him, you see him getting a lot less confused all the time, and there are plenty of times where he thought about a decision for at least a few seconds before deciding. and yea a few seconds isn't a lot for the average person, but its not only is it better than how he was before, but for the decisions being made during a cut-scene, that's actually quite a bit of time.
and just his manorisms alone are different. hes still childish in kh2, but thats usualy durring specific times where he tries to be that way instead of him being that way almost all the time like in kh1. and i think him occasionaly acting silly in kh2 also kind of shows his struggles with the fact that he lost a large chunk of his life durring chain of memories and he doesnt want to face the fact that he he is older and needs to act more mature

  • @croii4749
    @croii4749 10 років тому +2

Soras character is, what most people would call, childish innocence because he has a heart filled with light, much like Ventus, which is why the keyblade rejected Riku for Sora. In kh2 when he thought goofie died he got angry but he did not give into any darkness so your theory of one of his friends dying and him giving into darkness dosnt add up

I think it's the childlike innocence and seeing the good in most of the people he meets that allows him to connect so many hearts together, saving them so they can't make him too dark. The KEYBLADE CHOSE him consistently after all because he has the strength that matters most. So yeah, they can't have him lose that.
Overall, I believe Sora already knows when to get serious and fight and when to joke around. Maybe he'll be just a bit less randomly nonsensical (like when he was wearing the mask in DDD). Also yeah, I hope he does experience anger as well.

i like the way sora is. his character is like the shining light in the dark. his personality is supposed be that way because hes the example that no matter how dark things get theirs always a light at the end of the tunnel and the way sora is always smiling shows that hes finding any kind of light in the dark and staying positive while most other characters let it get to them and just end up sinking into darkness. so i hope sora stays the same as that little ray of light in the game

To defend Sora being childish, I wouldn't say he's ALWAYS joking around. Maybe in Dream Drop Distance, but in previous games, he's had his multiple emotion moments. In Chain of Memories, Sora gets angry with Donald and Goofy and tell them to stay out of his way while he's getting desperate to look for Namine on the later floors.... In Kingdom Hearts II he gets pretty depressed when he finds out Kairi is missing again (then again, that's self-explanatory) and when he finds out that the Organization have been using him to collect hearts and that he can't use the Keyblade or else he'll let them have their way. I'd say Sora is more of a positive attitude person than always being childish. He's very aware of the importance of all the big missions he's been through, and always put's on a serious, somewhat anger face when it comes to his friends being in danger.
On a side note, my little theory is that Xehanort will trick Sora into getting angry, in some way (possibly through Kairi) make us THINK that he's releasing Sora's darkness through force (similar to Ventus) and actually tamper with Ventus' heart inside Sora to resurrect Vanitas, who will become his 13th vessel and we'll get a Sora VS Vanitas battle. My silly little theoy that I just thought up xD

I haven't played Dream Drop Distance because I don't have the money to drop on a 3DS, but from what I've gathered, maybe Sora was portrayed as more naive and forgetful to show you that he had to kind of go back to a time before he knew the keyblades secrets. I mean, if that's the reason he looks younger, maybe that's why he's acting younger in DDD? Also, what if Sora wouldn't have grown to be so happy and lighthearted if it weren't for Ventus? Maybe he's happy all of the time because when Ventus and Sora's heart connected, Ventus had no darkness left in his heart. This would mean that Sora's heart has more light in it than most other people's. Regardless, I like Sora's optimistic attitude, but the naivety does need to stop. I'll be happy with a more mature Sora if they don't go overboard.

I'm not all the way finished with Birth By Sleep in KH 2.5, still need to complete Terra's story but it certainly makes since seeing as how Ventus pretty much display's the same characteristics of being this cheery outgoing teenager who really just wants to befriend people, at least until the story starts to settling in with Vanitas which is the point he starts transitioning to more pissed off.

After waking up in the world that never was. Where Xemnas tells Sora that nobodies actually have hearts, that look Sora gives him. He looked really pissed off. And then when he yells "Why did you lie to them and tell them they had No hearts?!"
Or "Just stop it you treat peoples hearts like bottles blabla". Okay, after that his my-friends-are-my-power speech starts, but I never saw him that angry before.

I love Sora's personality because it is bright and happy. Sometimes, the main reason why I play KH is because he is a very happy character and by maturity--he is going to become more responsible and carry out his duties more. I see that Sora finds happiness within himself rather than looking at other people even if he seems too gullible and childish. I have not met a person in real life who has such a carefree way about him/herself and this is including me. Instead of finding happiness from within myself, I found more depression and I DON'T WANT THAT. I wanted to be more carefree meaning free from anxiety mostly because I have troubles sleeping. I do hope Sora carries out his responsibilities better in the next Kingdom Hearts ♥. And also, he do not joke about people he jokes about silly things that makes people feel happy.

okay Sora is who he is and i respect him now if you look at the situation in kingdom hearts 2 he does realize that times are getting darker and harder but he remains positive and happy in hope that it wont get any darker i have friends who are like this and Sora does in fact realize this because in kingdom hearts 2 he has a couple breakdowns even if they're small they are still breakdowns and if you people who think they're so smart would pay real attention to whats being said and how they act you'd see that even though Sora is happy fun to be around and always smiling that he knows about the darkness and everything and to this question i say they shouldn't make him more mature right off the bat and keep having him realize these things and slowly make him more mature as the game goes on like they have been

We don't want another Cloud on our hands do we. Japanese anime/game protagonists usually fall under 2 categories; Number 1: happy go lucky characters e.g. Goku, Luffy, Sora. Number 2: Anti-Social or at times anti-heroes characters e.g Cloud, Riku, Vegeta.
Hopefully Sora feels some of the gravity of the situation, but I like his naivety, it lightens the darker moments. This whole fiery rage thing seems like a bit of an escalation from what we know of his character already. Of course he's gonna be disheartened and angry at points in KH3 like in KH1/2/DDD when dark revelations were made to him or his friends were hurt or put in danger. I'm guessing he'll act the same way as he did in KH2 for the most part in KH3 though.

I sincerely hope that by "mature" they mean a lot more than "less silliness". My interpretation would be that Sora begins to actively pursue a relationship with Kairi. After all he is (around) 16 at this stage, so he has a lot of emotional maturity to catch up on.

  • @TheNinjaMouse

Honestly, I think it'll be more a return to form than a drastic change in Sora. Re:Coded and DDD both played up the lovable goof side of Sora perhaps a bit too much. But KH2 Sora displays a lot more maturity in understanding what's going on, engaging with his enemies, and wrestling with the moral quandary of using his keyblade when it seemed to be helping the Organization. Also yes, maturity doesn't mean you can't act silly on occasion; it's knowing when to be silly (like making a funny face at your best friend who tends to get angsty) and knowing when to seriously buckle down and get stuff done. And there were some of those elements in R:C and DDD Sora, but they played up the childish nature of him for some reason, perhaps because they were using the younger version of him both times. I enjoyed aspects of those game, but I'm definitely looking forward to seeing older Sora in action again!

I'm honestly one of those people not really bothered by Sora's happy go lucky outlook.
His optimism is a nice contrast to Riku's serious outlook mode of the time.
However I do think that maturing Sora, just a little bit Will being it the series as a whole
With all the game series I've played... The main protagonist is always very serious, so Sora has always been a bright light so to speak-excuse the game pun, cause he's a light, get it?
But I think it would be good for Sora to mature a bit for the final instalment, and then maybe after the war we see the old Sora we know and love come back for a little while...
Plus maybe we can see a relaxed happy Rilu too!! :)

Sora was okay in KH1, he started having anger management issues which actually felt real for Sora's character in KHCOM and I liked that. I think by mature they mean he fully understands the situation, how big a role he plays in this war, and what he has to do. Obviously there's a possibility he's a bit older but I don't think it will dramatically affect his personality, that's just how Sora is. I think that's what actually kept him alive and fighting so long, he's very upbeat and looking on the positive side. Riku is more of the mature character in the game but look where that got him, in the darkness completely lol. It took someone like Sora who is very positive and very much in the light to save him. Plus Sora is part of what makes KH so light hearted and enjoyable even with all of this peril going on, he's a guy who can kick ass and make you even happier by smiling afterwards. I think we should all remember that Sora as he is right now isn't all fun and games. Just go back to the ending of KH2, he went through all forms of Xemnas focused. When it's time to take care of business or when his friends are in serious danger he knows when to buckle down and get serious. I think Sora is fine the way he is.

I think Sora greeting people from the sleeping worlds over and over is more about the writers babying us. Like in kids' shows where they explain every goddamn think instead of letting the viewer infer what's going on. The writers think we don't retain enough information and so think to repeat it a billion times to solidify it in our memories. Sora's just the scapegoat for that.
I do think he needs to get some extra attention in the character development department next game, though. Which is weird because he's the main character. Of course, Kairi needs her stuff, too.

I don't mind at all that he's a happy character. That's one of the things I like about him and what makes him different from a lot of male lead roles who are always serious... (Squall, Halo, God of war guys) There's a lot of people like Sora in real life who are dorky and always positive. They're usually the type of friends I have. I guess that's why I don't mind. He was a bit naive in DDD but he wasn't really in Kingdom Hearts 2. He was quite emotional in a lot of scenes (ex. Tron's Sacrifice). However, a more mature Sora wouldn't be bad. Maybe they could make him more like Ventus because he has an outgoing personality as well but sees the darkness in the world. Just a thought.

To the mature topic: Sora already grew up in kh II with the only "childish" thing about him being his rage-periods which then again were because of Roxas's grief against the organisation so maybe we'll get a Sora who can control his emotions better :)

I imagine that if Sora were to ever get into a super rage mode (for whatever reason) that he would transform into anti-form and then start wreaking havoc on the 13 Xehanorts, and would eventually get to a point where he's so out of control that one of the other guardians of light would have to get him out of anti form. If this happens it would most likely be Kairi, as she's pulled him out of the darkness before. But, that's just in my imagination.

  • @ZeldaFan2004

This is something that I literally just thought of so it is likely not going to be without plot holes. But, how about this: At the end of Dream Drop Distance, Goofy and Donald talk about Sora being late. So, after the situation that just happened with him at the end of Dream Drop Distance, Yen Sid, Mickey and the others are understandably worried. Riku volunteers to go find him. However, they send Lea to find him instead Because, as he said himself, "Dark rescues are my specialty." Plus, they'll likely need Riku doing something else, possibly helping train Kairi in the use and summoning of her Keyblade.
Lea finds Sora being genuinely kind and helpful. Maybe even helping Neku and his friends complete the reaper's game somehow, but he is also putting himself in unnecessary danger in the process. Lea will approach Sora and ask him to return with him, but Sora will protest. Flashback to Axel bringing Xion back to the Organization. Lea will then scold him, saying something along the lines of he is far too important to put himself in danger like this. Sora will continue to protest, saying that he will be fine. So, Lea does what Axel did with Xion, he brings Sora back by force. I think it would be even cooler to play as Lea during this, and you get to play out this battle where you fight against Sora.
When Lea brings him back, everyone is freaking out because Sora is unconscious. Lea explains what happened. When Sora wakes up Kairi will take him aside and talk with him. She'll help him understand that even though she doesn't want him to change, he has to in order to stop Xehanort. She'll explain that he doesn't have to be a totally different person, just that he needs to try to look at the big picture rather than the situation directly in front of him. They'll share a touching moment and Sora will spend the rest of the game growing up some and becoming more mature.

animefreakincs Well shit, that's just bad when a whole demographic of a particular type of gamers phases out the other genres, I myself was kind of a little jaded with the Ps3 after finishing GOW3 and it's psp ports along with DMC4, after that the only shooters I really ever could enjoy was the Bioshock games and Dead Space to an extent, some guy told me at gamestop that borderlands was awesome and I gave it a try, but it was more like borederlands for me since I ended up getting bored shortly after realizing the most of what I was exploring was a barren wasteland filled with some of the most repetitive enemies. Farcry just plain and simple doesn't interest me, and for the most part I'd have to say that KH 1.5 and 2.5 along with some JRPG's such as Nino Kuni, the Rachet and Clank collection and of course some of my favorite action beat em ups like Bayonetta is what saved my Ps3 from turning into an antique dust collector.

animefreakincs CoD costs like, 60 bucks, then the price drops, and they bump it up to 60 again with "free" dlc inside.

I have to say, seeing Sora get passed and go into a dark rage would be SUPER fucking awesome. Sorta has NEVER gotten so angry that he let out all of the darkness in his heart unless you count Anti-Form, which technically, nobody's seen him in. I'd love to see Sora lose all control and have someone like Riku, who was once plagued by darkness, calm him down. That would be awesome.

sandro5493 me too, let him rage, let him lose control. That's part of being human. When you get angry you can't think straight and that's okay, that's part of the emotion

Sora will be older which is a good thing but I still want his happy go lucky personalty to be a part of him

Honestly, the way Sora keeps joking around and smiling and being so happy-go-lucky through all his games has always struck me as a kind of coping mechanism. He and all the various individuals who've taken up residence in the back corner of his mind have all been through a lot of shit (the destruction of entire worlds, betrayal by those closest to you, mental manipulation, spiritual dismemberment, DEATH), and you don't just recover from that kind of trauma overnight, especially considering Sora and his tenants are all still teenagers (unless Ventus has somehow gotten life experience and aged in his sleep, which a certain Secret Ending featuring Ansem and Aqua disproves).

When you talked about you hoping to see Sora get really mad and unleashing his hidden darkness and rage, that is impossible because Riku took out all of the darkness inside Sora when he defeated the Ventus nightmare. Also I like Sora's happy self because I feel like in these dark times, the worlds need a happy spirit to help them forget about all of the depressing things going on and see the bright side of things and gain hope.

that ventus nightmare wasnt sora's darkness. it was his nightmare like u said. he still has darkness in him. the only person other than the princesses of heart who doesnt have darkness is ven cuz he defeated vanitas

I applaud you Cristopher da la Zerda. I wish people wouldn't try to turn sora into a dark and angry guy

What I think about how "mature" Sora will be is probably he will still retain his upbeat personality but after some experiences following after their mark of mastery exam he might end up having a more broader sense of out-look and a will gain more wisdom. I don't believe that SE will go overboard on how "mature" Sora will be. I just think that he'll become wiser than he was before. And I think they won't take away his naivety either. Well I guess they'll tone it down but not take it off completely since I think that is already part of who Sora is as a character. But as the series of events continue we will slowly see him develop his personality, leaning to a more serious Sora. I'm also thinking death of someone dear to him might not be an option YET. Maybe a great deal of harm towards his friends, yes. But then again death being a probability is good too. (this is simply my own opinion feel free to tell me what you think if it seems unlikely xD;; )

Sora's character (for the most part) in 3D was really odd considering that he was never as naive in previous games. Most notably kh 1 and 2

Honestly Sora is Naive but Terra beats him out completely when it comes to Naive

I think his happy go lucky attitude is actually quite nice when you think about the actual concept of the game. Sure it seems a bit much for a 16-17 year old but, if Sora was a stick in the mud it wouldn't be as enjoyable. I mean, most people have been playing from the beginning and so are probably really in touch with the characters. A drastic change would really alter the atmosphere and dialogue/relationships with certain characters. I guess I'm more concerned about Kairi appearing more. She's probably the only female character I despise.

I like when sora's happy,he stays on the positive side of things,if he gets mature he'll just face depression ._.

Actually, I think his optimism will give a darker story a lot more significance. He could be the one to call everybody to head into the big Xehanort fight after something terrible happens.

I Don't think Being Happy All The Time Is a Bad Trait at All Everyone Needs That Ray Of Sunshine in Those Darkest Moments..Thats Why Sora Is My Favorite Character, He's Someone When You Feel as If you Have No Reason To Continue, He Brings Your Sprit Back, This is One Of The Reasons He's my Favorite Character! Then Again I Wish Sometimes He Would Feel Mad Over some Of The Things I do. So Just Like TheGamersJoint Said As Long As They Keep Some Of Those Traits Sora Has But Make Him Grow up a bit That's Okay With me :D
