Hello, Dave thanks to share this Icon ProX system i see forward to your next video's with your cameras to explain how to set up connect and working with Studio one or Cubase, i like your instruction videos , difficult to find these today with the really nowledge, i'm interest al over one year but the instruct videos are importened for me. greetings from EU. These units looks so great, like real console. I do have uf8 now and thinking to switch to pro x, only one question
The faders on icon are they feel the same good as uf8?
They fell the same. I had a UF8 as well so I know from experience
I think this is the one I would choose, the BIG question is... do I need it? I love the look of it and how it works, I'm just not convinced having it will make a big enough difference to my workflow to make it worth the outlay. Anybody have a view on this after owning one? 😎
What you "need" and what you "want" are two different things for sure.

I love studio one but everyone wants me to switch to pro tools because it’s industry standard
The last DAW I would tell anyone to switch too is PT. Do you actually work in the music industry? if not, dont worry about that
No way! S1 SOUNDS better, more punch and way more features. (Check Teddy Riley on that here)

The second screens don't work at all. I'm not satisfied at all, I've been waiting for an update for 3 years so that it works more solidly,
They do need to fix that. That 2nd screen is completely useless
