Reminds me of a story in the news a while back. Woman stopped the plane from landing because she thought she saw a middle eastern man scribbling a manifesto in Arabic. Turns out it was an Italian economist doing calculus.

This was ahead of it's time
I was at an intersection with a friend (he's black). When we saw that the car in front of us had a tire that was almost flat, my friend jumped out to warn the lady driving the car that she should not go on the highway ahead (could have been dangerous). When my friend tapped on her window to tell her (in a very nonthreatening way) she would not turn her head to look at him and eventually drove off onto the highway. I am not quite sure what happened, but I imagine the woman was so intimidated that she did not realize this was a kind soul just trying to look out for her.
