The way that guy got Beeple to draw the stick figure was genius. He knew he wouldn't just provide free art, so he approached with magic trick and documented it on video for proof it was beeple's drawing. Honestly impressed.
The real magic trick would have been turning it into $120 K.
The amazing thing is that fools are willing to pay actual money for it. It is not art. Beeple might be able to create amazing art. But a few lines when he was not intending to make art is not art.

The Beeple story gets even better. The guy couldn't sell the stick figure art because there was no signature, so he went to Beeple and asked for an "interview." Pretty much he tricked Beeple into signing it by covering up the stick figure with another bit of paper or something like that.
