David was the "DANCE" behind all of Mikes big tunes, a pure syncopation genius that deserves way more credit. David composed. arranged and played the guitar tracks that propelled Mike to a different level. I am a pro guitarist and David was, and still is the stinky funky shit behind millions of albums. RIP David... I feel ya.

I had years of all nighter hangs with DW in LA. His greatness was playing click track perfect rhythm guitar. He was drafted during the Vietnam war and the CO wanted to form a band, his hand shot up when they were asked if anyone could play an instrument and that kept him out of the shit. RIP my gentle friend.

I was always curious who the dude was who played all those cool rhythm guitar parts on some of my fav songs like "Billie Jean" & "Stand Back". So thought i'd look him up on here. I was always trying to play like David when I was in a band in the eighties. Its taken me until I am fifty one to be able to get anywhere near him but it has been worth it!
