Hey Ashley, thanks for making a video like this. As a husband, it's often hard to find things for my wife that she likes. I don't exactly have a great feminine opinion and often what I think is cool or cute or whatever isn't aligned with what she thinks. Plus fit and finish for women is very different than for men and often I just don't think of the things that she would think of or take into consideration. Videos like this help a lot, maybe even more than videos from Mike, to make good decisions and take out some of that guesswork. I hope you continue and keep making videos. I was just watching Mike's video when he said you had done one. I love everything on his channel but since I'm a female I figure watching yours will make more sense. Thanks for making this video.
Also, if your shyness had anything to do with the comment sections, here's what I do- I turn on 'approve all comments'. That way you read every comment before it hits your page. You could have someone else do that and they could leave out all the hateful ones. I still post critical comments but I don't post the ones that just have insults.
Pretty god job, no need to be camera shy..as mike would tell you..the camera likes you!…don’t be afraid to know the materials and why it was made that way-this could be your niche market-not to many REAL tacti-cool girls doing these videos. For example on the Vertx pants, that square cut in the front pocket is for a folding knife, so it sits flusher on your thigh and easier to get in and out of your pocket…also mike would tell you-people want to see your smiling face..💫
1. A sojourn (the first way you pronounced it is correct) is an amazing word to describe a temporary stay. 2. I think the Burrell pants would fit my lady perfectly... I'll try to surprise her with it on her birthday! 3. DAMN what a rock on that finger. Congrats!
This is so funny/timely. I was telling my husband about a month ago how I needed “adventure / camping pants” since I didn’t have anything appropriate for over landing/camping. I went on an online hunt and took a chance on a couple pairs. Turned out okay but the pair I ended up w is 100% polyester, they look most similar to the gray pair you showed. These options look more comfortable. I was complaining to my husband about how few pockets women’s pants have!

Great video! I just got my wife a pair of lady’s 5.11 pants. Her’s have some features even mine don’t have! It’s cool that brands are adding and making lady-specific styles because most gals wouldn’t go for the boxy, cargo tac pants. All these look like ones my wife would wear.
It is hard to find thick clothes for wearing outdoors without trying to buy construction clothes but with those they have annoying loops that can catch on plants and things. And even those don't have a large selection. I don't mind spending some money but I still think over $60 on clothes is crazy.
Hi- thanks for being uncomfortable for my betterment❤️ would love to see warm weather hiking shorts that are functional and won’t creep up the legs. Could maybe hold a cell phone and keys to replace a purse or bag. Thanks!!
Thank you! I don’t really carry anything special on me on a normal day, chapstick, wallet, keys, phone is all. When I hike I carry more, pepper spray, knife, etc. I enjoy camping and would like to get out and go shooting more, it was hard last year with all of the fire bans so hopefully this year we can get out more!
