Trust me most of the Stalker veterans would be pissed off that other older and faithful creators didnt get to be added if he did with like less than 20 vids on stalker, plus Boris isnt liked in the purists communtiy (which is a big chunk)
as someone with over 200 hours on Anomaly, watching Boris play it completely fresh and green is both painful and yet hilarious at the same time.

@@vanxthenecron3059 God Ironman on Anomaly sucks ass, I was trying to do Invictus achievment and everytime when I had a good beggining I died in the most bullshit way, once I got a slug in the face by my own squadmate that I recruited to help me get to Rostok and the other time I walked into an invisible and silent burner that just nuked my arse even with addons that should make them both visible and far more forgiving, what a joke of a mod

I dont usually watch Boris gaming videos, but this one was nice, had a surprise cooking video in the middle, I approve
This game was my introduction to the stalker games. I have not played any other parts yet.
After 4 hours of playtime, I managed to end the very first quest of shooting down some boars. I have not come any further yet
play original games first, anomaly is incredibly unfair and is just a sanbox, the story quests are just a fillers, original ones will give you a better explanation of lore and games are more balanced
I'm assuming there will be more stalker content since Stalker 2 comes out next year

Update: i am now pro anomaly player, I know every detail of the game, just like SoC and the other ones, and I beated SOC again to prepare for stalker 2. I stream stalker on Twitch sometimes, same channel name. I’m just afraid that they turn stalker 2 in a metro like game, that would suck

Been playing this for the last few weeks. Ironman, Loner, roleplaying a hitman for Sidorovich, is like playing slavic Assassin's Creed. I'll kill anyone, even other Loners, as long as it isn't Monolith. Sid says kill, I kill. I have a set of disguises and faction-specific equipment I use to get close to targets when they're in or near their home bases. I move slow across the Zone, staying low, scouting for other stalkers and mutants. I'm not against taking the long route around if a checkpoint is too well defended.
Because Sid always has SOMEONE on his shit list, there's no end of work. And I eagerly look forward to the battle that finally sees my end.

Notice how the Makarov has a proper heel release. European-style pistols have that feature to encourage mag retention. The concept of ditching mags used to be almost entirely a Western phenomenon. It's called an "emergency" reload for a reason. Anyway, also notice Wolf's machine gun. It's either a PK or PKM. If it has a fluted barrel, then it's the older PK model which was the first of that series.
*Edit/Note:* Since Anomaly has a spawn menu as a default feature, that means you can create Zone Sportsmanship Challenges!
6:15 The technique that I've found to be most consistently effective against that type of zombie is to shoot it in the head with your lowest quality ammo (typically using a pistol), then knife it in the head while it's on the ground. That's if there's only one. If there are two or more, you'll have to lead them apart from each other by knocking one down. Of course, that's if you choose not to avoid them entirely. Another viable technique is to lead them back to the village and let yer droogi do the job for you.

14:24 An RPK! Or is that an RPK-74? The depth and curvature of the mag suggests it's an RPK-74 with 45-round mags. Imagine how awesome it would be if this mod (or any other) had Red Orchestra-style gameplay mechanics, complete with the ability to lie prone (which would replace double-crouch if it was a ShoC mod and would be a toggle function) and make use of bipods.
