@@sylthaya7571 I don't have an explicit tutorial on wetblending right now (have one planned for next month), but i use it on my tutorials from time to time. I do have stuff however, yes. Lots of stuff ;)

Oh yeah, I’m not only going to highlight and enhance lighting, but I’m also going to free hand a fucking skull that looks as if it’s a template!!! You’re amazing man. Truly amazing
That was bloody astonishing. That's the level of skill everyone wishes they could paint at, but so few put in the effort to achieve that level of skill.
You are the best, I want to have children now just so I can name my kids after you. This is by far the most generous contribution to my technique and by sharing with us you have earned my respect and my patreon. Absolutely phenomenal technique, you are my hero...."Contrast is our friend..". You are amazing, thank you.!
I tried this method out then used Pro Acryl translucent black over the top and it works like magic. Just gotta apply thin layers when you do it but its defiantly one of my best paint jobs I have ever did. I used an airbrush with ratios of 2 part thinner to one part translucent black if anyone is wondering.
haha, nice. yeah, i got that comment a loooooot about the music, even before I knew that guys channel. Upgraded to Epidemic Sound music these days, because it is more subtle, but my instinct is always to use super dramatic music like that.
@@trovarion don't worry, I really like the newer tacks as well. Keep up those dank tutorials. I would love to see your take on a Scarab Occult Terminator some day as well!

relatively young channel and the UA-cam algorythm doesnt care much about small cchannels ;) The channel is growing daily, which I am very thankful for. We will get there :) Sharing on social media helps by the way ;D thanks for your kind words!
Just started and was looking at all the black templar tutorials. This one stands out from the rest by a very, very long shot. Then again it is far less accessible for someone that's starting out, but definitely an amazing goal to strife towards. Thank you for sharing this!
Well, there is already so many "basic" painting videos, did the world really need another one? why not create something, so people that want to push themselves can learn? Thanks for your comment! keep having fun painting!
Those freehands are amazing dude! i definetly picked up some tips from these videos, i do realize i need to invest in better brushes because the inconsistent tip of cheap synthetic ones is not gonna cut it. But i also need to practice a lot to get a lot of the basics down and better so my paints jobs can keep improving. Thank you for all the amazing content you put out !
There is only so much copyright free music in the audio library. I am pretty sure I used other songs somewhere that 1000 other youtubers used. I have not watched a single buypainted miniatures(?) video either. I have my way of making videos and I don't need to copy anyone. Then again there is also only so many ways to hold a miniature up to a camera while you paint it.
Beautiful work! I love the way you paint light on to your miniature in a very clear way. Also your freehand work is amazing, but the way you approach it in the video makes it much less intimidating to try. Well done!
I am glad I found your tutorial. I have always been scared to paint my figures, because I am a perfectionist. I have always marveled at the world you artist create and always wanted my own army to look just as good. Watching your video, I see that I have l much to learn, but with intense watching of your videos, I feel i could understand more of what is needed for me to get the effects and awesome look that I want. The issue is doing the work and understanding the dark and shadow s of the colors I am using. I understand practice makes perfect, and by getting experience, my figures will get better in time. I will buy some easy figures to paint and graduate to harder ones. I would like to see more of your tutorials, because I feel it is the best way to understand what I need to do in this hobby. I want to thank you for offering you skills and ideas for the love of this Hobby...
It has been a really time since I bought my figures. I first tried to paint them , not knowing that their is a technique needed to paint awesome finished work. To say the least, I hated my finished work . I started reading all my White Dwarf magazines and going to Games Workshop stores, asking lots of questions. As I watch the videos on UA-cam, I finally realized that I need to start painting again, and you have brought back the desire to " Get my Ass going ".. Thanks again , I like your work and tutorials..
I demand to know who the 70 people are that disliked this video. If never the word was more true, haters gonna hate. Wow Trovarion...I mean just wow dude. Def in my top 5 painters.
Looked EVERYWHERE for a tutorial that moved away from that cartoonish blue highlighting for black armour. However, this video went above and beyond my expectations!!! Amazing work and I'll definitely contribute to the patreon!
I didn't use a single Vallejo Color for the red (from memory I used scalecolors Deep Red as a Base and then Aldebaran Red and a Skintone for highlights), but that just shows that you can use any color you would like to use, Hull Red would work perfectly fine as a base here. I try to tell and teach people not to get too stuck in recipies.
you are BY FAR the best i've seen on UA-cam and i love your work. Because i watched your videos alot i can now finally apply the same technique's as you do and it changes the quality so much more better than before (layering, single stripe highlight etc.). I suggest everyone at the local games- workshop to follow you ;) keep up the good work and streams! much love from the Netherlands

This is incredible! I want so badly to try it but would love to see how you do it on something larger like a Pimaris Dreadnaught. There are a lot of large flat sections that have me nervous...
Cool vid! I would suggest instead of cutting the music completely when you talk to just fade it a little bit. As it is now it's a little bit distracting when it cuts out. Good luck!
Even though I’m a year late, if I pay for patreon can I still get the complete guide?
yes, all content on patreon is always watchable with an active pledge, back to the first upload!

The freehand in the cloak is insane.
I always forget there are people into 40K who are actually skilled artists and aren't either like just Duncaning everything or ruining models.

Amazing, if I hadn't seen it myself I would never have believed that the cross on the shoulder was painted freehand.

The outside of the cape looks close to vallejo's hull red, which is a favorite of mine as far as darker reds go.
