    I bought the t128 last Black Friday for BRL1000. It was a discount of BRL600 and that's a lot around here. G29/920 costs BRL 1600 ~ 1900... For someone who had made their own steering wheel and pedals, using Arduino, then I think it was a good deal. I am competitive, in due proportion, in online AC/iracing

    Your reviews are coming at a really good time for me, gathering info for my first set up. I had considered these, but I'm gonna go for the T300 Rs Gt. I think that'll be more than enough for me, i can't justify paying for DD. Not yet, anyway. I'll see how hard the bug bites 😂 great video, sir!

      The T300 is at this moment the most sensible choice for a starting wheel budget/performance wise for console. You made imo the best choice. Thank you for the kind words! 💙

    But even after months of using the t128 I was unable to configure the FFB. Either it becomes very weak and I can't feel much of the car and the track, or it becomes very strong, shaking everything, making a LOT of noise and tiring my hands in some laps.

    • @SimulatedDrivingResource
      @SimulatedDrivingResource  3 місяці тому +1

      Thats a bit of an issue when you have a limited force feedback strength and the major reason why people upgrade. While the T128 is very good to get a "taste" of sim-racing for a limited budget, the difference with the more higher end bases is significant due to the differentiation in force feedback.

    Nice video I have the t128 and it's not bad for the price

      Absolutely not. You have a steering wheel, pedals and active force feedback for a small price. Good package if you're on a budget or just starting out.

    Will the t128 be a big (or at least decently noticeable) upgrade from t80?

    • @SimulatedDrivingResource
      @SimulatedDrivingResource  3 місяці тому +2

      Yes. There is the difference in technology. The t80 does not feature force feedback while the t128 does and that makes a world of difference. If there is a bit more budget, I would advise to look at second hand sites, you can get a T248 for around 30-40€ more. The steering wheel feels much better in hand, the ffb is much stronger and the pedals are absolutely 10 times better than t128

    I could be wrong, but from memory the T128 has between 2 and 2.5 nm 🤔
    So almost the same power as the G29

    Hey, I'm a new sim racer and im about ti buy a racing wheel. What wheel would u prefer, The G29 or the T128?

    • @SimulatedDrivingResource
      @SimulatedDrivingResource  Місяць тому

      Hard choice friend.... the drive of the T128 feels better but the steering wheel and pedals of the g29 feel better. If I would need to choose, g29... I really didnt like the small plastic steering wheel and pedals of the t128. But a pro-tip, look at second hand market. Good bargains to be found there

      @@MiguelBarraca I had the same question, and decided to go for T128 as it has a better technology hybrid gear and belt driven whereas the g29 is a gear driven, a little older and noisy technology. The FFB is pretty amazing and the size and material I didn’t honestly have an issue with, the grip was pretty okay and the size it’s comfortable. Price wise you can buy a T128 brand new for a less compared to g29 used. So the best value for me was T128.

      @@SimulatedDrivingResource Exactly, and your video was one of the resources that helped me. Thank you.
      I’d have to add one more thing, probably it’s a topic you can make a video about. Actually, lot of newbies to the sim racing are unaware about the fact that despite whatever wheel they buy, tweaking the settings is important for each game. Example, I bought T128 to mainly play Forza Motorsport, the stock settings were very difficult to handle with, had to do some research and find the right settings to match the wheel, it was day and night difference between default settings and adjusted settings.

    Hey dude. would you be able to do a video on the Moza R3 situation? It was announced 8 months ago and was supposed to go on sale last year. The release date keeps moving and the official line is Microsoft certification. But no one seems to be willing to actually talk about the situation not least Moza themselves. So many people are sitting waiting for this thing to come out as its a huge upgrade from a logitech g920 or Thrustmaster tmx for Xbox.

    Those Thrustmaster pedals are revolting. why did they not just use the standard 2 pedal setup that comes with the t300 / TX? They have been around forever, so surely cannot be expensive to make

    • @SimulatedDrivingResource
      @SimulatedDrivingResource  4 місяці тому +1

      They needed an overhaul anyways to add the hall sensors but indeed. The design of the old T2pa just with hall sensors would have been better.

    I had the g29 and it was horrible. It had TOO MUCH power and the center on the wheel was awful, it would just drift left/right and not dead center, too loose.

      If you think the g29 has too much power then all I can say is wow. Never get a direct drive wheel.
