I need another bulldog. They die wayyyyyy too young. My first one died of kidney failure at age 3 years 2 months and 4 days. My other one died of a heart attack at age 7 years 4 months and 9 days. I miss them so much. Bulldogs are so much better than other dogs.
UGA VI bit off the head of a stuffed AFLAC duck once. CBS thought it would be cute to put a stuffed toy between UGA's paws while they read the AFLAC Trivia Question. And it was for about three seconds, then UGA reached down and did an Ozzy Osborne on it. I fell off my couch laughing.

Ok nevermind by the time I got this far into my message my question got answered. I was going to ask if the mascot always has the same name, and he does and it's a great name. LSU does have a tiger. They keep it in the nearest Zoo, I think anyway. When he comes to the games, he is kept in a cage. I know that is what Memphis does.
@USA733 lol georgia's football program first got started, their mascot was a goat. their first game against mercer..mercer were the bears but uga didnt have a mascot..so they told a kid to go find an animal for their mascot and he brought back a goat...so for a while uga were the goats lol..then one day some guy said "ur team had the fighting spirit of a bulldog"..so they changed it to a bulldog lol

@USA733 a bulldog is the most unoriginal mascot in college football. you should have kept ur goat mascot from when the program first got started...then you could have been original and not just be another bulldog among the 100s other "bulldog nations"
I'm an Alabama fan but the Ugas have always been the coolest mascots ever. And any dog that goes after an Auburn player knows his football.

UGA VI was the best mascot, he weighed in at 68 lbs. (bulldogs usually weigh about 50) and he had that mean looking lower snaggle tooth.
