One tooth smaller at the front sprocket, a 4% timing mod, and tune R6 exhausts give this bike everything you want. I have one of these FZ6N as well as a BMW S1000r. I ride this bike so much more, and seriously, if it came to getting rid of one bike, I would definitely keep the 600. I love this bike; it's so much fun and I have been riding for over 50 years. These bikes were built for moon miles.
I just bought a Fz6 a couple of weeks ago and I couldnt love it more. Im paying less than 200 for insurance a year!!! . I dont mind having the slowest of the 600cc bikes out there. With an aftermarket exhaust and a power commander this things screams and sounds amazing. Very fun to ride even at 60mph . Its so tame below 8k and it has good passing ability. I just love it.
I have had my fz6 since last December. I have rode a few cbr600s growing up and a few ninjas. I waited my whole life to get a bike. I think I made one of the best decisions. Quick, great handling, and so comfortable. All I need now is an fz1 and I think I’ll be set for a while.
Those lower fairings are killer! My 09S2 was my first bike and taught me so much I moved on to an 03 FZS1000, and its way better suspended. But I want another FZ6 someday. Cresting 10,000 is so much fun
That's sweet, I was looking at upgrading to an fz1 but for some reason they're pretty hard to find around me, not many ppl selling them, and I wish they were fuel injected but that's ok lol
@@northernnecessities The carbs are worlds better than the FZ6 fuel injection. Jet kit, R6 shock drop in and some soft bags, perfect tourer. 5.5 gallon 45ish mpg touring. FZS1000 is a better overall bike, but I can only get to the top of 1st before Im speeding everywhere. FZ6 is more fun in the twisties, but needs better suspension.
@@westondifranco9313 ahh interesting. And ya the suspension could be a bit better on the fz6 but as a beginner bike for most ppl I don't think they'll notice it too much
06’ Fz6 owner here! I bought my bike spring of this year and love it! Great ergonomics, enough speed for me(145 mph), my aftermarket exhaust roars and still a clean looking bike
The FZ6 was my first big bike when I passed my test several years ago. I loved it, it was so much fun to ride! Recently I got back into bikes again, and I am now the proud owner of a 2011 orange FZ6. Only has 5000 miles on the clock. Still lots of fun to ride, comfortable to sit on, and gets admiring comments when I ride it in to work. 😊
I'm new to this motovlogging thing, so you'll hear a bit of wind noise in this video at certain parts, but I already ordered a new mic, so videos are just gonna get better from here🙏
Great bikes. I have an 09 FZ6 and bought it with only 2000 miles on it a few years back. Great bike, and like you said, insurance is cheap. About 45 bucks a month for me. However, the registration fee is still expensive in California. Cost me $165 a year.
i put this video on for background noise, but i have the same bike! 2006 fz6. mine was a last minute FB marketplace find and it’s been taking me 30 miles (round trip) to work 5 days a week for a few months! i love this bike and do not regret it at all. it’s my 5th bike, i came from a CBR 600rr and the difference is real. but sometimes i can still get the jump on these normal 600s, lol. i had an sv650 that was definitely quicker. absolutely love this bike and runs like a tank in the FL heat.
Hey man, first time seeing ur videos, and I love the content! I got the 2008 FZ600, and it's an amazing bike. I find it a bit high (I'm 5'9), and my handle bar is a bit wide as it has been change after it was drop.. Appart from that, I love the bike and bought aftermarket mirrors like yours. Next step is to change to handle bar for something more "sporty" haha. Anyway, I subscribed. I hope I'll see more videos from you!
That's crazy, this came up on my feed, you bought this bike off me! Glad to see you enjoying it
No way!!😂 we meet again, small world eh
Wild lol
Perfect, where did you get the fairing kit and mirrors
hello, where did you find the fairings?
Genuinely brought a smile to my face reading this. My favorite bike in the world man.

Proud owner of a blue 2010 Fz6 Fazer S2. I love it, it's good all around. I will install a usb charger to it soon with a switch.

I bought an 07 fz6 and crashed it going a buck 15 lmfao. Got a 05 R6 after that and loving it.
O snap, glad to hear you're still alive and riding!😅
Hi! Nice video! Small correction though, fuel tank is 19 litres, not 17. Lots of range (:
Yes you're correct! I forgot to add that correction in the video lol, thanks
That's a really nice bike, not gonna lie.
Good job dude!
Thanks man😎
I ride in SE Ontario. Love my 07 Fz6. I need to track down the lower fairings or belly pan for mine still.

I am soon buying a FZ6S !

A bit less speed is exactly why I bought it lol
I just got one those plastics r amazing!!
They really do make the bike look great don't they:)
Where can I get these Lower farings at?
What insurance???
nice bike tbh! Am considering one of these as well
@@KindOldRaven you won't regret it
Ssshhhh, don't spread the word on this! I'm trying to get one before prices decide to explode.
Do you have a link for the Rear mirrors, cause i bought the bike last Week and i want to Upgrade it.
I got mine off Amazon. Search up folding motorcycle sport mirrors and you'll see plenty of them
You said zet 6 😂 I always do that 😅
Does anyone have a link to these fairings?
Where can I buy these fairings at?
What fairings are these? I’d like to pick up similar ones.
what consumption this bike km/L??
I think it's around 5L / 100km
Just bought 2006 yamaha fz6 and my insurance is 22.61 a month
Judging by your username, it sounds like you're american, which explains the cheaper insurance. Lucky bastard
460$ A MONTH for an R6? xD What's up in USA insurance rates xD
In Europe you pay like 50-100$ per year xD
I wish 😫😫 I'd have 10 bikes if that was the case lol. And I'm sure the USA has cheaper rates than where I am (canada)
Wow. I pay $17 a month for insurance on my 2008. You pay more for insurance on your bike than I do on my Infiniti g37.
@matthewc164 im guessing you live in the states?
@northernnecessities Florida
@@matthewc164 ya it figures. You guys are lucky. I wish it was that cheap here
Aaaaaand they're discontinued 😂
