Thank you for taking the time to show us how to make our own charms, and not have to spend the bucks. I love that this has been around for years, and I can still watch it!
These are definitely some very good points. I bought a combination pack of those headpins..etc.. and didn't have a clue of how to use them! LOL It's so helpful to tell us where you buy your supplies too! Thanks girl!! You're the best!!!...big hugs!....Claudene
I was looking for how to make dangling charms for my mini album spines. YAY!! These are perfect, especially your favorite one, the one you use on your purse. I'm new to your channel just subscribed. Thanks.
I love this tutorial! I'm new to this and your tutorial was the first one I found that was so informative, I feel like I'm ready to start making purse charms
Kelly I just found your tutorial while searching for charm tutorials for beginners. You are very good at explaining things to a newbie like me and it is so nice that you take the time to share your talent with those of us who are new and struggling. *I just noticed that this video is from 2013, lol, shows you just how long it takes me to find something that I think is "new"! I really wanted to ask some silly newbie questions but didn't figure you would see or comment on something from this long ago. I could really use some help as I have spent a bunch of money on beads that now I really don't think I'll use all because I could get nobody to give me any cut and dry answers.....instead everybody keeps says "use what you like"....well, that's the problem.....I like it all, but it doesn't mean it will work for what I want to do. Is there any way to reach you for some questions that I feel are WAY to stupid to post here? I could really use some guidance. Take care and thanks for all the great videos!! Tina
Hello Kellie I am trying to learn about bead craft so I have subscribed to your channel I’m about to make some stick pins so this is so inspirational to me, love and hugs Ruby xox
Perfect information for us newbie. Wait officially when am I not a newbie? I'm learning new things all the time from you. So I want to be a newbie forever. =) Thanks Kellie. Sincerely, Elaine Rico
LOL - you crack me up. I'm still a newbie to all kinds of things. We just consider ourselves newbies when we are sparked to try something new. Newbies forever I say :o)
Best for your pliers to fit your hands..larger handles larger hands.small pliers in a large hand week cause physical issues if you use them regularly. If you do use then frequently and can't find a pair at the local craft store you might have a local jeweller that carries metalsmithing/jewelers tools. It's so so worth the investment! The head pin with a bulb or "bead" @the end you can find loads of jeweler making tools/ claw claps, beads, silver just so many many things..ask your needs @ RIO GRANDE.
Hi I'm new to beading and I was wondering what is the best sized wire to work with? I don't want it too thick but don't want flimsy wire either. I have used clear mono cord and I've had a problem with a few breaking that I gave to people. You're advise is greatly appreciated.
Thank you for watching and commenting. I hope this helps you to get started. It's one of my favorite things to do in my craft space 😊 Practice those loops to get started. You'll quickly fall in love with the instant gratification of this type of project.
Love your tutorial, would you be able to telll me what gauge of jump rings you use and how many mm are they ? I'm wanting to make purse charms ... thank you ....looking forward to your next video
Hi, I honestly don't know the gauge. I have a variety of sizes and just eyeball it. I would recommend getting one of the multi-size packs so you can accommodate all different sizes charms and the varying loops that the jump rings need to squeeze through. Hope that makes sense.
@@DesignsbyKellie thank you so much for your help, I will certainly do that, love your tutorials and thanks again ..... looking forward to your next video !
Thank you so much I’m new to making jewelry I’m glade that I came across your channel. Thank you !!! It hard to what you are show because you are to far away from the camera.. so thank you for coming close to the camera
I have gone to Michael's, Hobby Lobby, or Joann's for mine. It has been a long time since I purchased beads, though. I'm sure there are options online but I couldn't recommend any. Beads that I have bought on Aliexpress have not been very good so I can't personally recommend that.
hi Kellie I'm lost I'm new to making charms I've beaded for years but never made any eye pins so when I'm bending them my loops are all messed up and I've gone through 2 packs of eye pins and about to give up please help

Goodwill is a good place too. You can find some cool bracelets and necklaces with beads that you can take apart for cheap.

Where do you find your larger, blingy beads? Haven’t had any luck online or I just don’t know where to look. Thank you!

Hi Kellie, really silly question, but what did you call those big charms at the end? Arty cake??
Thats right. Not sure on the spelling but I could find them at Michael's a few years ago.
You are so very welcome Becky. Let me know if you have any questions or need any help :o) Big hugs.
You are so welcome. :o) Be careful, these are addicting. Hugs,
Kellie

Do the packages of chain from Bluemoon come in a size?
Hi, they might but honestly, I've always just eyeballed it every time for the projects I had in mind. I don't know - sorry.
With spacers
