7th and 9th Like! ^_^ My two cents: The tactics: Get Down! Fight to the Death! would have made your units much, much harder to kill. Especially the latter since: Obscurement: Brings the Injury roll needed to kill to 5 Fight to the Death!: Adds one more -1 debuff to said Injury roll. Your partner would have needed a 6 to kill for the first guardsman that needed an Injury roll. I could be horribly, horribly wrong of course but I'd save CPs for those two tactics since the Astra Militarum has (comparatively) no problems with killing power anyway. Hmm I should do a faction focus video for these guys. Looking at their rules and tactics now and these guys certainly are interesting.
Wow... Your dice pretty much hate you. 3+, reroll 1s and all you roll are 2s. That happens a lot to you. This mission seems odd for the Guard. They are squishy and tend towards large teams, but the breaking lose condition plays against those. I guess The Best of The Best meant you only should bring the most expensive and survivable guardsmen you can. I don’t see much else you could have done. Vorne and Gotfred were great choices. Maybe all tempestus scions next time? Thanks for a fun but short bat rep.
DG's first roll was a seven. It was clear that they were blessed by grandfather.

Should have ran the hotshot volley gun as the heavy or the melta as a vet.

You need symmetrical scenery board and at least 2-4 LOS cut to make a fair table

i like battle reports short , like dis, but i hate rule dat 1 played do all shoting than another 1, its best to do 1 by 1 model each
