One of the commonest human activities should be having a smallholding/homestead but it is frowned upon in the UK. Why that is I have no idea. It is usually said that we would spoil the look of the woodlands but I think that is a shadowy fear. Good people make good homes and care for the land/animals and do not make a mess. Very interesting to watch 2 men complete a cabin house especially the layers of the roof, the flooring and windows. I wonder how long did all this hard work take?
I didn't see any weather barrier or foam layer go down between the slab and wood on the 1st course of of the walls. Rain will hit walls, run down to the slab, pool up and work its way under the cabin without it.
I know no sill gasket at all , not to mention the quality of the floor insulation . I would want the much denser stronger moister resistant blue Styrofoam .

Floor bearings should never sit directly on cement . A roll of sill foam gasket cost very little to protect the wood from direct contact with cement base .

why they install unsecured plank of plywood over the roof and not protruding the roof sheets over that the water can easily drip down? strange construction and I guess good for my drinking parties in the garden, hahahahaha.

I would add a ridge vent, a sky light, possibly a wood burning stove and a solar panel sufficient enough to power a light bulb and a small fridge.

It is a really good kit for a 14x24 but I think the kit is a little complicated for many.
