being a car guy this is a great starter vid for anyone. and yes, that's a nissan skyline gt-r r34 that comes with an awd transmission using a system called ATTESA ET-S Pro that slightly turns also the rear wheels rather than just the front wheels with which it gives much more grip when turning (i think), and this system has been present since two generations before (meaning, it was used initially from the r32 gt-r)... that's what yapping about cars is actually about. random facts just out of the blue and sometimes can be interesting to hear when you barely know me, but if you know me, you would just want to shove me deep down the crust of the earth and never see me again (jk, was just exaggerating about myself).

As a car guy and mechanic here is what I would like most customers to know. If your check engine light is on and it still runs fine it is mostly likely a bogus emissions code. And if your TPMS light is on ( I nicked named that one the Totally Pointless Motherfucking Sensor) If it came on and you check your tire pressures and they are good then the dumb sensor went out and you can ignore it. I swear most customers act like it is the end of the world if those lights come on.
Should I be concerned if my glow plug light turns on while driving and kills the throttle until I turn the engine off and on again? The car suffers from a case of being French (and old).
0:38 Automatic start/stop isn't as useful as car companies want you to think. Your fuel savings are more than offset by extra wear and tear on many parts of your car, like the alternator, starter, engine mounts, and more. Use it in a rental car, a leased car, or one you're going to sell before or immediately after the warranty expires. Otherwise, TURN IT OFF!

1:50 fun fact, fog light are completely and utterly useless unless they are yellow. This is because yellow light cuts through the fog, and white or warm light will just intensify the fog. So yeah, if you want functional fog lights, you need to tint them yellow or get yellow bulbs.
Very good video. As someone who knows about cars i think this is a fantastic explanation for regular folk. One caveat, and not to make things complicated but there are different all-wheel drive systems; Part-time/full-time AWD & Permanent AWD, the latter being the type you described here. -Permanent is what Subaru does. All wheels getting power at all times. -Part-time/full-time is what a Camry has. Power goes to the front wheels then to the rear wheels when more traction is needed.
For the intro he should have used The all wheel drive blue custom metallic raped Lamborghini Aventador LP 750-4 Superveloce Roadster that weighs 3,472 lbs (1,575 kg) and it costs 460,400 American dollars or 8,476 dollars for monthly payments and the A.P.R. is 6.9%. 60-month term with a push rod magneto-rheologic active front and rear suspension with horizontal dampers and springs, double wishbone fully independent suspension, hydraulic assisted power steering with Lamborghini Dynamic Steering (LDS) and variable steering ratio, rocket bunny wing, carbon fiber to make the car 50 kg lighter, tinted windows, and custom wheels, with a 6.5 L (6,498 cc) L539 naturally aspirated V12 engine with dry-sump, variable valve timing, and variable intake system which sounds as loud as 109 decibles but the average car only sounds like 60 decibels and the Lamborghini has 509 pound-feet of torque, that makes 750 hp at 8700 revs per minute or 217 miles per hour or 350 kilometers per hour or 10.5 seconds for a quarter mile or 0 to 60 miles per hour in 2.9 seconds with a 7-speed automated manual with manual shifting mode with a trunk volume of 5 cubic feet and the passenger volume is 50 cubic feet and the car is 190.4 in long, 79.9 in wide, 44.7 in high, with a 106.3 in wheelbase

Auto start stop (ASS) is terrible for vehicle reliability and sometimes increases fuel consumption. The act of having to crank your engine at every light means that the engine must burn energy to return to idle state (1-3k RPM). If you leave before idle state, the engine will be revving high and consuming more fuel than what you originally needed to remain in idle. Now, do you still like ASS?
1. When the engine light starts flashing car will go into limp mode and will either not go past 3,000rpm or shift up depending on manufacturer. 2. The 5 speed manual and 6 speed manual you got completely wrong. The final gear of any manual is an over drive the reason 6 speed is more popular in sports cars is because of the close ratio allowing the car to stay in the power band when pushing it. Same goes for 6 speed automatic vs 8 speed automatic. 3. Turbo chargers are not completely efficient. Pascal law is P = F/A re-arranged its Force = P * A cars regularly do 300 psi on compression and the gas explodes which hits 1000 psi. With a turbocharged engine you can cause more air to be compressed resulting in 3000 psi after exploding which is Torque = Force * radius and HP = RPM x Torque/ 63025. However, in order to make the same power as say a v8 the ecu runs rich (uses alot of gas) when in boost. My 2.0T will run like a 4 cylinder when out of boost but racing I have lost 10 litres of gas in less than half an hour. 4. Not all suspensions are the same there are leaf springs used in trucks and shocks or coil overs used in unibody cars. Cars are able to switch their K constant in spring damping by rotating a small cylinder inside it which allows the suspension fluid to flow faster or slower for a more plush ride or stiff if you are driving on a track. **MY BACKGROUND IS 3 YEARS OF MECHANICAL ENGINEERING AND 2 YEARS OF AUTOMOTIVE ENGINEERING**
