imo, Olivia takes a subject, a situation that is not openly/frequently talked about and puts into a song. it is self aware and so honest. i think admitting it is the first step of solving the issue. which Olivia did admit the issue when she says, “i know it’s crazy”, “i got issues baby”. this song is a banger!
Olivia’s dad is a therapist so I think that’s why she’s very self aware of her feelings and isn’t afraid to let it out and tell it how it is because truly everyone feels this way one point in their lives!. I think that’s why alot of people also love her music because of how personal and open she gets in her songs which some artists may think it’s a bad idea but olivia talks about how when writing music she can only write the truth and she has a song called ‘scared of my guitar’ and it’s about her not being able to write music or play music anymore while she’s with this guy because she knows if she picks up her guitar and gets to writing the truth will come out in her lyrics that he’s not good for her and she doesn’t love him anymore,

Olivia is very self-aware. You should listen to GUTS; it's a great album, and Olivia's songwriting is incredible!
