This is a strong debut album. Not any filler song and every song has potential for a single thats insane tbh.. and all songs pretty much has trended indepedently. Jesus.. that must have felt insane for her.

i absolutely loved brutal! brought me back to my teen years and my avril lavigne era. when she says “I’m so sick of 17 where’s my fuvking teenage dream” that’s me at 25! deja vu was AMAZING! the first time I listened to it I fell in love with the bridge and good 4 u was also mind blowing and had my 12 year old self blasting off my headphones to girlfriend by avril. whole album is a no-skip brainer.

I gotta be honest, I found myself not taking this album seriously simply because she’s 16-17 writing about love and all this “grown up” stuff. Like she doesn’t know how it really is. But once I pushed that stupidity out my brain, I was really able to appreciate this album. It’s beautiful
and im so glad you did a lot of people couldn’t get passed the fact she’s 17 writing about a heartbreak. most heartbreaks happen in your teenage years but it’s hard to write songs about and people being accepting and understanding where you’re coming from!

this album is a whole fucking masterpiece which describes all the stages of being heartbroken and i love how i can relate to each song. 🥺💜
I found out one of Olivia’s parents is a therapist. So once you really pay attention to what’s she saying in “Brutal” and how she’s saying it, you realize that she’s singing/speaking from the perspective of being on a therapy session and the chorus is probably the mental breakdown. That really makes sense for it to be the opening track because it sets the tone and really storyline for the rest of the album. That’s really genius, actually
her father is a therapist! her mom is an elementary school teacher

I really think Brutal should have been the last song on the album because it pretty much sums up everything. The album should have begun with Traitor, a heart-wrenching break up ballad, all the way up to hope ur ok where she wishes everyone well, before erupting into the aggressive song that Brutal is, being sick of everything she has experienced and therefore written about in the previous tracks. "I hate every song I write."
