@Robert Smith I liked ep 7 but I didn't like 8 and 9 though 9 was better than 8 in my opinion, they had good ideas but it seemed like it wasn't planned nor executed as good as it could have been. It's a shame cause I know disney can make great star wars content but to me 8 and 9 weren't one of them.

Anakins mom saying “you’re free” always hits me like a truck. He was never free. He spent all 3 chapters of his life serving someone else. He was always doing what he thought was right. Of course he did some horrible things, but in his eyes he was doing what he thought would protect the ones he loved. He was born into slavery, gave up his freedom joining the Jedi order, and served under a ruthless dictator. The only time he got to redeem himself and truly be free was right before he died. His arc is truly nothing my but dread. He let love ruin him.
Such a painfully accurate way to describe him... though I do disagree on the love ruining him part. IMHO he was ruined by the inability to let go of what/who he loved. Another word for that is selfishness. Note: Padme was completely fine with Anakin's dream if her children lived because she could let go.

I would be interested in a series with Luke training him and then going around the galaxy searching for ancient Jedi artifacts.
I completely agree. While there is no way around that the sequel trilogy is divisive, if done with the same care as The Mandalorian, fans would probably love it.
It would just be cool to see them explore Luke’s Jedi Academy. I could see them bringing in maybe Jacen, Ezra, and Kal for cameos.
The rise of Kyle Ren miniseries did a pretty good job of trying to bridge the gap. Better writing...

Man, Kylo really was Vader to the core. He was so scared of not being Vader, and in the end he was. Dying rejecting the Dark aside he used a a crutch. The only good thing about TROS.

They should have called rise of skywalker - the last skywalker. About ben. Ben and rey kill palps together since they are the dyad.

You have Anakin struggling with and falling to the Dark Side, Luke was having to find his own path not knowing the Light or Dark Side and Ben, who was, struggling with returning to the Light Side, his is a far more interesting story then Rey's is, as her story is a repeat.

I just watched some many of your Star Wars reactions, fantastic stuff. You earned a sub, mate! I don't know if you've reacted already but I didn't see it on the list, Vader episode 1 - Shards of the past. A fan made mini movie, about 15mins long. It's worth a view. Or for a laugh, Darth Vader falls in love (7mins), fan made fun, a bit old though but a good laugh. "What!"

I find kylo/ben was a better character then ray his whole plotline was just way more interesting. Plus the crossguard saber was just fucking cool.

I can most easily 'see' Rey coming 'full circle', back to where Anakin's mother was when she found herself pregnant 'by the force?', although that has 'some' discussion concerning it. But, lets just go with this idea, at least for now. Rey can, and IS, a Skywalker!, and she can give birth and raise another Skywalker 'properly' in the Ways of The Force, so that he/she will NOT be attracted to the Dark Side! Rey's child will have Rey alive and having her as their Teacher/Mentor. This plot idea has much to offer, raising many others who are strong with The Force, raising a Race of Force Weilders who'd unlike any anywhere in our Universe. Think about this possibility.

The editing that HFP has done shows what sequel trilogy should’ve been. Unfortunately Adam Driver was a man 😢😢

The sequels are "canon". That cannot, and should not, be changed...like them or not (I personally don't really care for them).

But, I think it would be worthwhile to add something to Star Wars that indicates the sequels aren't exactly what we thought.
Ben and Rey are indeed a Dyad in the Force. Rey is, in fact, a Palpatine. But all of the events of the sequels, didn't actually happen. They were a Force-vision, given to Ben and Rey during their training under Luke...a warning of what could happen if they stray from the path.
I like the idea of keeping what worked, but that falls pretty much in the same category of "It was all just a dream," which I have a feeling fans would hate. I feel like there is something to this idea though!
@@OneProtagonist Oh, it basically is just a dream in that case. But it's the ONLY way they'll do anything about it. And I honestly doubt they'll even do that. Corporations just don't do that kind of thing...ever.

This tribute felt more of a sequel to episode 1-6 than the Disney trilogy it was telling a story let be honest the trilogy at it own doesn’t felt like a sequel to the prequels and originals it just has major plot holes and same story of the original with different beats in the end we are at the same what left off in episode 6 but worse. Personally I can invest in Kylo he more relatable than Rey I mean have she did anything significant throughout the Disney trilogy don’t say killing Palpatine we both know the writers bring him back was bullshit and already been down plus her origin they can’t even get that right. Also I felt Kylo more a hero if they had written his character correctly in his own way and had you noticed Kylo and Rey fights he always lose I know in the hero journey the hero need to struggle so if you see it in reverse Rey is the villain and Kylo is the hero to confirm this throughout the fights Kylo try to turn her to the dark side while Rey try to kill him and she didn’t hesitate and in the rise of Skywalker during the fight in the Death Star Rey was angry,shouting and growling like a Sith while Kylo was calm like a Jedi. The point is what if everything was an illusion think about it the whole hear the voices of past Jedi’s was complete bullshit compare that to a Force Ghost and Palpatine did say to Kylo he been every voice inside his head what if he did the same to Rey with the Jedi voices because we know most those Jedi didn’t become force ghosts and he just let her kill him that why she die because he reside to Rey now and when Kylo try to revive her Palpatine took all his life force and using the skywalker a hero name he bidding his time to rule inside Rey. Of course this unlikely considering Disney doesn’t have the balls to make Rey a villain.
Better than the 6 hours of the Sequel Trilogy. Which should have focused on Kylo Ren Ben Solo as protagonist even from the POV of the villain faction. Discard the inessential Rey, Finn and Poe and change Snoke's name to anything that isn't Snoke
