Why is Palmer's theme Cynthia wtf
It’s so odd that palmer had cynthia’s theme in diamond and pearl. I completely forgot about that good thing that he got his own theme in platinum.

@@Epi689 The theme used in Palmer's battle in Platinum in this video is actually a slightly remixed (more chiptune-sounding) version not present in the actual game. The soundtrack for Black/White 2, which included Platinum tracks, did not indicate Palmer's battle theme as different from the other four Frontier Brains.

I remember when I made it all the way to Dahlia and beat her.
That was the first time in my life that I’ve ever reached and defeated a Frontier Brain.
That is an important and unforgettable milestone on your pokemon journey. I still remember when my family helped me win a few symbols in the battle frontier in my pokemon emerald game.☺

Dahlia is probably the easiest one to get to since you can manipulate how the battles beforehand play out
I would guess Caitlin was pretty young here, 14 - 16. Few years later in Gen 5, we see her again. After watching you battle, she learned more about Pokemon and became an E4 member at maybe 20.
So if you think about it, all these years Caitlyn basically battled you. Her butler may have been the one battling. But something tells me, since Caityln is a pyschic, she telepathically told her butler how to battle.

In the Argenta battle, Umbreon slowly rises after each Facade. This is a glitch in the gen 4 games where the pokemon sprite will slowly rise with each use. I've only seen it used from the trainer side, but it's funny to have seen Umbreon slowly raised up

Nope, I suposed, when I faced Palmer's Milotic, that his Milotic had Timid Nature because of its Salac Berry, which I noticed by exchanging items with Trick. Unusual but an effective moveset with that Milotic.
The Frontier Brain Battle music from Platinum is the same in Heartgold and Soulsilver but with slightly different instrumentation.

32:18 Just for Mixeli to know, this particular Milotic knows Attract AND Hypnosis, so this thing was definitely going to be a huge pain but you lucked out.
I just noticed that Caitlin (The Physic type Elite four of the Unova region) is in these games and she is young but then becomes not young anymore in black and white and battles you as a way of filling in her spot. In other words she doesn’t battle in the battle frontier the other guy does but in black and white she all like “I’m a beat you myself”

QOTD: Dahlia all the way. She was the first Frontier Brain I managed to reach and beat. The Battle Arcade had such a cool gimmick that stood out to me, the music was catchy and it was so rewarding to defeat her.
Ah I remember being a kid and never training my Pokémon except for my starter but I would catch the highest level Pokémon at the next route
Yeah I had a level 100 Typhlosion and because that's the only Pokemon I trained, the only frontier brain I reached and defeated was Argenta

That was clever to use sandstorm vs argenta as you would not take damage from having partial ground typing while umbrella would as a pure dark typing.
I’d say my favorite might be Palmer, because he kind of looks like Joey Wheeler from season one of YuGiOh, and it’s one of my favorite shows.

That's correct, they are the same person. Plat takes place before Black and White. The reason Darach stands in for her is because at this younger age, she is unable to handle her own psychic abilities.

I remembered that Dahlia was my first Frontier Brain I’ve faced. My team consisted of Luxray, Infernape, and Floatzel. My Infernape was the first one to go down by her Medicham. Dumb mistake I made until my Luxray arrived in the battlefield. She wiped Dahlia’s whole team out even though her whole team was paralyzed all together.

Fun fact : In Case you haven't noticed, Caitlin (Pokémon BW Psychic type e4) is in Platinum the castle one.
I prefer the design of the Battle Frontier of Platinum but I prefer the battle music from HG/SS. Overall, I prefer the Battle Frontier of the 4th gen rather than the 3rd gen one.

Were the teams you used in-games teams, and not have perfect IV and EV trained?
SlifertheCanadian doubt it. The enemy teams here use pro strata and rng. While possible to play without Perfect ivs and ev training, it’d make things harder for you

The only ones i beat were Dahlia and Argenta. The rest was just too tough and bad luck was involved. Plus it takes forever to get to them if you lose. Not only that, the battle points were just so minimal after each battle. They should have made it 3 or 5 BP after each battle with regular trainers and 15 or 20 BP for Frontier Brains. I always wanted the Choice items but they were so expensive.
I hated Thorton, lost to him because he had a Slaking that outsped and swept my team, whereas I couldn't take him down, even with it's Truant...

Why is it using the Cynthia theme in Diamond and Pearl
One of my friends is a Pokémon fan. I think I recall he has beaten the first 5 generations. I only beaten Gens 3 (FR & LG included) and 5 (only B&W). I'll have to battle with him sometime...
I have a suggestion for a battle theme, for US/UM can you program greevil into the game and battle him? And if you want you can remix his theme, you don’t have to though.
