Hey Chris just a thought I want to share, I have to many watches over 40 at this moment. People ask why I have so many watches? and state that I can’t possibly wear them all. My answer to them is that I don’t need to wear a watch to enjoy it, sometimes I simply like looking at handling them. 😊😊😊. Honestly I love wearing my Zeniths, Tudors and Panerai as much as I love wearing my Oris and Hamiltons. ❤❤❤
I believe the sprite will be the watch everybody will want from this generation of watches for decades to come. I can honestly see that watch becoming one of the most desirable stainless GMT master’s ever produced. I totally see that watch being over $100,000 in 15 years.
Hey Christopher, that’s what I love about my Submariner! I have a 11610LN & received a Green Ceramic Bezel (authentic Rolex) from an AD that I change with the black! OK, the green dial is fantastic, but the combination I have is is fun because depending on my mood can switch out the Bezel’s with almost no effort (once you know how), just have to be careful 😅
I wish more Rolex's rocked a brushed bracelet and a glide-lock clasp. I love my GMT. It was my grail watch. But that glide lock clasp as I go through the bi-polar weather in the midwest is hard to beat!
Completely agree with you on the 41mm being tiring to wear all day. They fed the new submariner too many pies. Fix one thing, and then give it the clasp and bracelet from Ram TRX. I will always love the Hulk, was my first Rolex ever. Congrats buddy.

I have a batgirl currently, have owned 40mm bluesy, and 41mm black sub/ Starbucks mk1, I get what you mean about 41mm being a bit more heavier/ noticeable to wear, I haven’t gelled with my batgirl and weighing up whether to go back to a black sub, or will I be too bored, I have considered the hulk to be honest

Indeed a simple, black bezel Submariner was 7.5 k euro and they offered a 5% discount, but not a cent discount for Hulk! Unfortunately I didn’t buy the Hulk! In 2018 even for a gold Rolex watch you wouldn’t have received 30% discount..
Congrats Chris, I got the hulk back in Feb after waiting for a few months to see if theyll come down, they didnt then and they still didnt now and we probably paid around the same. The hulk is the best and safest modern Rolex there is, it wont go down much even in a downtrend and when the cycle picks back up, LFG. Markets dont lie.

Don’t get rid of the Starbucks. Keep them both. You have some nice memories tied to that one. Also it’s not really a redundant watch. The black and green contrast is a nice break from the all green Hulk. I strongly feel if you sell the Starbucks….you’ll also miss it once it’s gone.

Funny how I just discovered your channel from your glowing review of the 126610LV where I believe you said it was better. If Rolex releases a green dial 126610, I think that would be perfect. I could see you flipping back again!
Never a fan of the sunburst Invecta dial on the Hulk, keep the new LV. The wider bracelet on the 12 series Sub balanaces out the watch head on the wrist and is a lot less top heavy then the 11 series Subs.
The Hulk is a misnomer, it is likely going to be the only steel Submariner with a colored dial. I don't think it's the greatest Rolex ever made, but it is indeed my favorite Rolex and I am very happy to own one (6 years and counting). A black Sub Date of any generation I think is the greatest Rolex ever made, and yes it's boring.
You also tell which do not own a watch to begin with 😂. Watch enthusiast can’t help but show their bias. I’m guilty of it also. We all want our watch to be the “better” watch. Cheers my hulk brother 🍻

Scale of 1 to clown 😂. Such underrated comment. Realistic Rolex owner here. These are mass produced entry level steel watches (non haute horology). I have no shame admitting what I have. It's hilarious though how a lot of Rolex owners think they're the pinnacle of watch making 😂. They have never held a Lange, Gronefeld, Breguet, or so many other actual haute horology pieces.

I bought my Hulk in 2018 from my AD at a 30% discount. Wanted it because I’m a Philadelphia Eagles fan and have it to this day. Amazing piece!!
