Yep, Vesps GTS for me, made in Italy, most of the others are made in China and time will only tell how long they will last. The Lammy lookalikes are very nice but as I say, just not sure about the build quality. My GTS 250 is 14 years old now and has never missed a beat.
Lambretta v200,I have one and they are fantastic. Some people talk about the look but if you think Vespas don’t look anything like the iconic sixties models and people still like them.
The pair of retro looking Kymco LIKE200i (163cc's) or the LIKE150i are great scooters - the LIKE200i is a high quality, near bullet proof scoot at @$2500.
Very cool...sold my Honda ST1300 as I just don’t need a bike that big anymore. Was wondering what to get that is practical, and easy to handle around time ....these are ideal🙏👍
In my 'crazy days' I did a ride of 750 kilometers from Antwerp Belgium to Cluny France in one day on a Vespa PX 200 at top speed 110 km/h. Undestructable engines!
@@morningstarr. Think it was around 5000 miles door to door. Took 5 days there and 5 days back with a weekend in Croatia. The little Vespa was great. Goes to show you don't need a BMW GS to tour :)
It's good to see something doing the difference. Scooters rescueing the past in terms of design but with too much technology to please the new generation.
I have 3 scooters. 2 of them are Honda metropolitans and one Vespa gts 250. I would like to get the Royal Alloy 300 but no one seems to have them here in the U.S.
Some really nice scooters. However as my primavera approaches 38,000 miles I'm looking to getting a new primavera, just can't beat. Shame you don't give BHP and if they have under seat storage.
Got myself a AJS Modena 125cc on a 18 plate, great scooter - just be mindful that some of the Chinese parts aren't up to much, but it's half the price than those in the Top 5 and it'll get you on 2 wheels!
@@andygreyriderGRN hey man, Thailand make some good stuff... both Harley, BMW and Harley all have parts made in Thailand and they are all good bikes (well... except for Harley :-) )
I prefer the gts big body scooter for its safety with double disc abs, higher seat height for taller riders, road presence and the front apron does give knee protection from rain and wind.
The Vespa Prima with a Malossi 190 or better still, Honda's new "Hunter" . If Honda could shove an air-cooled 200cc in there somehow, that would get me across the line.
Number one for me is Peugeot Django 125 with the most beautiful and original design, then the Vespa Gts, also beautiful and good quality Piaggio 4 stroke engine. Honda cub is the master but too expensive !!! Thanks.
I'd say Vespa 300 every time (even though I ride a Burgman 400), though if I was to veer off course I would choose the Royal Alloy (all metal body) 300.
@@reccerat4446 Those aren't new. I already have a PX. I live in japan and Lammys run around $10,000. I'm good. I did own a series II LI once. Never had it running though.
Dayla hi, wow that much for a Lammy? Over here you can pick them up between say 3 - 5k depending on work needed? Mind you my SX had a complete engine rebuild which was expensive! But then I had a LI as a young mod and have had one all my life. Have a VBB as well, probably a bit less than a Lammy, you just can’t beat the sound and smell of the old ones! Still it’s good that people are buying the newer stuff. Cheers.
BikeMatters I Ride the TL50 only (at least in Germany a special licence is required to ride a 125cc and technical inspection of the scooter comes on top). Nevertheless it’s totally fine in the city, functions flawless and looks fantastic.
? No mention of the Awesome Possum Honda EV Cub? From what I've read it has a 100 km range and will fully charge in one hour. Unfortunately here in Communist Canada, we can't have it..... at least can't have it yet. Still waiting on news, there's a youtube video of the 2018 model and it's 2020 now so where the bloody flaming hell is it? I've got the money, it's already gaining interest in a savings account, I want two, for the missus and myself, I'd flippin' well buy them today, if only I could.
Had quite a few scooters...vespa must be good....but not for me....wouldn't buy another one....and they don't have the traditional look anymore....Royal Alloy imo are the main/current retro scooter....the past was good with lammys and vespas...but it's not the 60s anymore....give modern 4 strokes a chance....they're the new 60s....its the next century so get on with it....the times have changed....modern scooters mean more than the scooters of old....get with it....the world has moved on!!!
the Primevera should be mid-list, RA GP Series should've been top dog, looks, performance and price, better looks than the TG, better all round than the lesser GT
Why can't Honda just make something that looks like a Vespa? That would be the perfect combination of real world practicality, reliability, affordability AND style. I love my PCX as a workhorse (Delivery Rider) but style wise I'd rather be riding on something that has the classic, timeless look. Also, I wish they'd make them for actual sized human beings! I thought my PCX was a little small till I sat on a Primavera! Are these things designed for children?!
The lambretta 125v special has proved over the past 3 years to be far superior than any scooter on your top ten scooters old saying time will tell and it has
It`s not a true retro scooters. If you need a modern retro scooter - go find a Vespa PX. The most recently produced retro scooter. And, one of the best among them all. No plastic, no CVT, no fuel injection. Pure classic.
Great list...Altho I am so turned off by so many of the commercials (Not your fault)...Not one of the commercials has the woman ridding. What a bunch of sexist BS! I might buy a lance just bc they have women riding in their commercials.
@@adamo7835 I'd say your Lambretta also has a lower centre of gravity, which helps - not questioning your capability as a rider! I've ridden many scooters and motorcycles. Scooters are more fun :)

Got to be the Honda Cub. My first bike aged 7 in 1972 riding around the local farmers fields.
Yep we never realised the c on c50 and c90,s was for cub we grew up thinking it was for churner
Vespa Sei Giorni 2020! 300 HPE engine most powerful ever on vespa, very comfortable and with ABS!
Lambretta v200,I have one and they are fantastic. Some people talk about the look but if you think Vespas don’t look anything like the iconic sixties models and people still like them.
I have the v125 and I agree, it is so good. Yours will be even better with the ABS. Great bikes.
Vespa 300 GTS - L've owned mine now 5 yrs, still love it.
I really enjoy your vids. Very well put together. Look forward to more.
Thanks Joseph!
recently got the TG300, unreal machine, great handling and looks beaut, very impressed
Fantastic choice Stevie! Enjoy!
The Honda Super Cub looks hot followed by the Django, Modena & lambretta I'm hopeless when given to many choices
The pair of retro looking Kymco LIKE200i (163cc's) or the LIKE150i are great scooters - the LIKE200i is a high quality, near bullet proof scoot at @$2500.
I just bought a 2020 Vespa 150 sprint ( Notte). Very quick and responsive. My only issue is the turn signals have to be canceled manually. ❤️
Enjoy!
Very cool...sold my Honda ST1300 as I just don’t need a bike that big anymore. Was wondering what to get that is practical, and easy to handle around time ....these are ideal🙏👍
Travelled from Manchester UK to Biograd Croatia on a Vespa GTS250
Great to hear it!
In my 'crazy days' I did a ride of 750 kilometers from Antwerp Belgium to Cluny France in one day on a Vespa PX 200 at top speed 110 km/h. Undestructable engines!
Sh** thats a long ride!

Owned a django 150 sport until just recently, really good bike, nippy and reliable. 👍
Glad to hear it!
It's good to see something doing the difference. Scooters rescueing the past in terms of design but with too much technology to please the new generation.
Thank you! Hoping to find a list like this for models available in the USA ,,??
Sorry we cater for UK markets so unaware of what you have available in the US.
What about the Honda Zoomer/Ruckus???
I have 3 scooters. 2 of them are Honda metropolitans and one Vespa gts 250. I would like to get the Royal Alloy 300 but no one seems to have them here in the U.S.
because they are cheap chicom junk...
@@richarddegen6184 except they're not, they're better quality and more reliable with better performance than the Lambrettas they're based on
@@richarddegen6184 sorry my friend but you clearly know very little about engineering ... the TG300 is a work of art .
Some really nice scooters. However as my primavera approaches 38,000 miles I'm looking to getting a new primavera, just can't beat.
Shame you don't give BHP and if they have under seat storage.
Great to hear about your Primavera. We try to give a mix of specs but do have to limit so the video isn't too long.
I got the Honda super cub, it's great
I want an AJS Modena & royal alloy TG125 bellissimo!! Great video
Thank you They are 2 very nice scooters! Make sure to check out our full AJS Modena review!
Vespa had a hand shift gearbox for a very long time so the Cubs belongs on the list.
Easy, the one I've just put a deposit down on. A GTS 300 Racing Sixties in Green!
Great news, let us know how you get on with it!
there is not weight of the vespa primavera ?
Got myself a AJS Modena 125cc on a 18 plate, great scooter - just be mindful that some of the Chinese parts aren't up to much, but it's half the price than those in the Top 5 and it'll get you on 2 wheels!
Hows it running now? Thinking of getting one. Thanks
Vespa 🛵 ... the Only One! 💖
Scomadi is the best of that lot - original lambretta looks, with modern British design - made by people who love scooters.
@@andygreyriderGRN hey man, Thailand make some good stuff... both Harley, BMW and Harley all have parts made in Thailand and they are all good bikes (well... except for Harley :-) )

My favorite ❤️🛵honda super cub! 😁 🎥 👍
Can’t believe you not got the RA 300 GP in this list- should have been No.1
The Vespa Prima with a Malossi 190 or better still, Honda's new "Hunter" . If Honda could shove an air-cooled 200cc in there somehow, that would get me across the line.
Honda Hunter motorcycle
If only it was easy to find anything like these in the United States!
Can u possibly do a review on 2000 royalalloys. I recently purchased the royalalloy 150gt. Thankyouverymuch.
Love all of them
currently saving money to buy a Vespa Primavera
Can we get the dealership of vespa GTS series in India
Think vespa px would of been number 1 had they didn't stop producing due to only been 2 stroke last year, but at least vespa are number 1
the lambretta v special exhaust complete is about £695...no kidding.
I bought myself a scooter - Suzuki Verder. Best retro scooter!
Falta este estilo de scooter no Brasil, seria muito bem vindas.
Number one for me is Peugeot Django 125 with the most beautiful and original design, then the Vespa Gts, also beautiful and good quality Piaggio 4 stroke engine. Honda cub is the master but too expensive !!! Thanks.
What about the kymco like 50i
Interesting video it’s different to see stuff that is available in other countries. The only one I recognize is the Honda
The Honda Super Cub is is so damn beautiful and electric too !
It's not electric, it's diesel.
Not diesel.
Honda cub is the best ever , Howe I drive a Vespa before lamberta
I really like the new lambretta, it takes a pounding from lambretta lovers though
I love mine, it is my first bike though.
I'd say Vespa 300 every time (even though I ride a Burgman 400), though if I was to veer off course I would choose the Royal Alloy (all metal body) 300.
They are great scooters!
I wish they still made manual shift scooters like they used to though.
They do mate, buy a second hand Lambretta!

The smaller the rolling wheels the less stabilizing force there is, an argument I've always had against scooters.
My Lambretta does 90mph it corners and handles the road very well on 10" wheels. It's about the capability of the rider.
@@adamo7835 I'd say your Lambretta also has a lower centre of gravity, which helps - not questioning your capability as a rider! I've ridden many scooters and motorcycles. Scooters are more fun :)
Lambretta GP LI SX TV LD GT - TS1 CASA AF MB etc etc etc , no plastic auto retro crap can replace the real thing
The new Primavera is retro from what???a fucking cosa?
the only one with my approval of style i must admit, its either the peugeot or the honda... what did i just say?
Royal Alloy ripped Scomadi off
Royal alloy Lambretta rip off🤣
