After watching this video I have found something to occupy my time while I am waiting outside the shops for my wife, just appreciating the workmanship that goes into all the different shop shop signs. something i have always overlooked, thanks
I love everything you've done, Jimmy, but I think I like the signs the best. So many things to learn on each one you post. Thanks for posting this one!
+jimmydiresta like spanish im proud you make this if you search about freixenet you must know that the chrismas comercial of freixenet is somethig like the superbowl people ver y famous make it every year you will get surprised
Love your sign / lettering / bordering / lighting projects. This checked 5 boxes all in one. The plastic border is something i hadn't thought about before. I don't have welding gear so the plastic is very do-able for for me. Excellent work as always.
My girlfriend and I just watched this, and her jaw was hanging open. I kept commenting on how I have all the tools to do this. Thanks for the video - love your work!
Wow. What a lot of cutting and fitting. Well done! I know you get some flak from people about too many signs, but I for one enjoy them. I like the way you come up with different solutions for basically the same problem.
Dude.... That sign blew the last one out of the water!!! The moment it went black.... Dang! And the gold pen!!! That thing came alive when you did that... Thank you for making the video man!
Just wanted to say thanks, Jimmy. Not only are your videos entertaining, but I also learn a little something new to add to my own skills each time I watch.
You are a great artist and designer, I would have loved to visit your workshop the year I was in Manhattan , a big hug from Spain ; I look forward to watching videos so fantastic .
Amazing work. I thought you had a special burnishing tool to help you bend the plastic until I saw the Phillips head on the screwdriver. You never cease to amaze.
Awesome sign Jimmy! Love the black and gold scheme. Used the exact same battery powered led strip on one of my shop projects today. You must have teleported some of those Jimmy vibes I guess ;) Thanks for sharing!
Look so awsome. Always fun and intresting to follow what you make. You are the reason why i now look UA-cam woodmakers every evening :) Wish you a nice weekend. Best regards Jan from Norway
Looks like jobs stacking up on top of jobs. Butterfly panels turned out sweet, and as usual you blow my mind with your efficiency of execution. I still think in terms of aluminum for channel letter, or having to farm it out...but a small shopbot cnc, 2P10, and some styrene makes easy work of it. Not as easy as you make it look, but easier than trying to get a spoolgun tip into tight interiors. Could even use a sintra or an acrylic base for exterior signage. Thanks for all the excellent vids and inspiration. Been thinking of building a boxjoint jig to make some stacking crates, then you go and do it, reminding me I have a dovetail jig my brother gave me laying around somewhere. Seems to be quite a community of makers growing. Keep using your powers for good. Tell your brother his shtick would come across better with a co-host, sidekick, guest... even if the camera operator was participating it woundn't be so awkwardly painful to watch his "whats up fugger" deal. Rude is only funny when you're hangin' with your boys. Looks like he could use a little camaraderie, or new shtick. Should get a Latina comedian co-host, work up a stand-up duo, an odd couple thing, like teaching her how to build stuff, and her teaching him jazz ballet, elocution, and etiquette. I'd love to see a canoeing/camping scene with you and Offerman exchanging sage quips and sharing secrets to living the envious life, with lots of brown liquor consumption and an appearance by a fake bear, as promo intro for a intern/mentoringship program summer camp. "Weekend at Jimmy's" "Weekend with the Offermans" Oh god, I sound like a tv shithead.
Great sign Jimmy, didn't imagine it would be so interesting when I heard about it on making it, but you sure overdelivered! Your channel inspired me to buy manual woodworking tools to try my hand at some simple stuff, thanks for the inspiration!
Very impressed, I love the gold pen on the edge...I would have farted around masking and spraying and screwing it up....This is why I watch Diresta, such simple and artistic genius
+jimmydiresta - Great video. I love watching you put together stuff like this. Also if you want to reduce the number of battery boxes you can wire the strands together end to end. Each string doesn't draw that much current so you won't overload the driver circuit in the box, and using alkaline batteries will extend the time between battery swaps. I did that this past Christmas when my wife made an outdoor decoration for her parents and wanted to make it sparkly. Cheers, - John
still remember some years ago when they declared themselves as secesionists and all spain decided to not buy their alcoholic drinks...they literally shit their pants aand cried like a girl that they didnt reaally mean it. Boicott cataluñas products

Jimmy, the amount of methods you use to get things done is astounding. Much appreciation for you work!

Woodworking, metal work, welding, lighting, sign-making all in one package. what more could you ask for? Nice work Jimmy!
They make my favorite cava. Cool sign...nice touch with the steel stand.
Lots of cutting and gluing, but that final result was awesome! Very slick looking work.

I have been in the freixenet factory in Barcelona last year! Beautiful!!
Just wanted to say thanks, Jimmy. Not only are your videos entertaining, but I also learn a little something new to add to my own skills each time I watch.
