Yay for musicals! I saw the stage play ‘Wicked’ in San Francisco years ago, and really enjoyed it. I’ve also seen ‘The Phantom of the Opera’ at the Kennedy Center in D. C. There’s nothing better than a good musical, in my opinion. ❤
Yay for musicals. Not so much for stage productions probably because not alot available near me. But movie productions are a definite. Hope you have a great week.
Yay for musikals. I wos on a Romeo and Julia musikal and i loved it. I saw the musikal from empress Elizabeth from Austria and loved it too. So a big yay
Yay love musicals!! I love that you can watch them over and over and don’t get bored because it’s just like listening to an album over and over. lol your “haha popular” had me giggling. Ah can’t believe that about your chair! The nerve of that chair to break on you before you could replace it😡. I’m very curious about what the mechanics said about your car. They are so hit and miss! I Ben I find a good, trustworthy mechanic I don’t go anywhere else
They’re definitely more fun to rewatch, and you can sing along! Haha. Still haven’t heard back about the car. :/ Fingers crossed we hear some good news this week!
Yay for musicals!!! My mom and stepdad loved them and I was (and am) lucky enough to live near big cities so I can see stage productions. I generally like to see the plays if I can, but I also love the movies- provided they get people who can sing… I’m looking at you, Phantom of the Opera! 😒 wicked has never played near me, or if it has it’s been super expensive so the movie will be my first experience. ❤
Oh man - Phantom of the Opera was a soundtrack I listened to nonstop when I was in high school, but I never got to see the show! Then the movie came out and I was like "THIS IS MY CHANCE" and it was kinda disappointing. :/ However, I did love Emmy Rossum as Christine. I wished we could have had a combo soundtrack with her Christine and Michael Crawford's Phantom - since I never really liked Sarah Brightman's voice in the original soundtrack. I hope you get to see the Wicked movie! It's so fun!
Oh yes, love musicals my all time favorite is Fiddler on the Roof . Have seen it many times. Never tire of it. Want to see Wicked but no one wants to see it so maybe have to go by myself. Love your videos.
I’m actually planning on doing a Disney painting in February. I’d love to check in. I finished “A Days Journey” and gifted it to my daughter framed for Christmas. She absolutely loved it❤ I really enjoyed your Whip and chat. I did enjoy Wicked and look forward to the next. Yay for musicals. It reminds me of days long ago when schools actually did field trips that included the arts. I was able to see Wicked years ago in Chicago when I accompanied my daughter’s high school band to the Christmas parade there.
Oooh which Disney painting are you planning to work on? I'm so glad your daughter loved A Day's Journey! I hope you had fun working on it! That's so awesome that your daughter's band got to do that fun field trip! I remember getting to go see the Nutcracker ballet as part of a school field trip once. I do feel like schools do less of that kind of thing nowadays!
@ I’m going to do so curious. All my grown kids loved the little mermaid. It is very nostalgic for me. I agree, the kids don’t do as much with the arts as they did and I think that’s a sad loss.
It's hard for me to say whether I like musicals because I've never been to one and I don't remember seeing any on TV. 🙃 maybe I could go to one this year? my holidays were fine, I spent them with my family, the food was delicious and the gifts were perfect. Now I realize that this was the last Christmas with my dog because he passed away on January 9 and I am devastated. 😭 he was the most wonderful dog and a wonderful friend
I'm so sorry to hear about your dog's passing! It's such a hard thing to go through...they are the best companions and all we can do is love them a whole lifetime's worth while they're here. *hugs*
Yay for musicals! I grew up watching soooo many. My favorite was Singing in the Rain. I've also never watched Wicked in live theater and don't know the whole story, and I LIVED the movie. I've seen it 3 times! I actually was in The Wizard of Oz in Jr. High. I was 5 small characters and the understudy to the wicked witch. I also got to take a trip to NY with a choir group i used to be a part of and see 3 plays while there and 2 were musicals! Awesome question! I hope your bad news is coming to an end for a while, it's never fun having everything just continually add up. I'm also slowly rereading the Stormlight Archive so I can read the newest one. I'm almost done with book 3
Oh my gosh, how fun that you got to be in The Wizard of Oz! And WOW, what a cool choir trip! Singing in the Rain is a great movie, I remember watching it several times when I was younger. It's been a while since I've seen it - I should watch it again. Eeee Oathbringer is one of my favorites of the series! But it's really hard to choose a favorite because they're all great for their own reasons, lol. Hope you're enjoying the reread as much as I did!
It's crazy rereading something and coming across pieces of the story as if you'd never read it before! I am truly enjoying it, and not wanting an end to these characters!
Yes I love musicals, but I was always a theater person so that's no surprise. I don't engage with them nearly as much as I used to. But I still stage manage a couple plays and musicals with local theatre companies every year.
Night Circus is really good!! I grew up being a very big reader but it's definitely slowed WAY down now as an adult. Trying to up my numbers a bit - have been listening to audiobooks quite a bit especially while working, or diamond painting. Unfortunately, my kiddos have no interest in reading. They'll read a manga every once in awhile but that's about it
I’m definitely adding Night Circus to my TBR! Loving Erin Morgenstern’s writing style. Audiobooks are where it’s at, lol. I can get so much reading done whilst doing other things! Reading isn’t for everyone, sadly. My husband has read one single book (due to my cajoling) in the entire 18 years I’ve known him! I love him anyway. XD
I watched this video in 3 parts and now I don't remember what to comment 😂 But I can tell you this: They have finally started to translate Liveship Traders to Finnish 🥳 First book was published last year and second book will be published later this year. No idea of the third book yet, but hopefully not too long after second one. But I thought to wait that the whole trilogy is translated before reading the books. I hope they will translate Rain Wild Chronicles too, but we'll see
I love musicals and have been fortunate to see a Wicked a few times on stage. I’m choosing to not see the movie until November when part 2 will come out. I detest cliffhangers, even mild ones. 💜💚🩷
Yay, for musicals! LOVED Wicked. Can't wait for November and part 2.
Yay for musicals! I saw the stage play ‘Wicked’ in San Francisco years ago, and really enjoyed it. I’ve also seen ‘The Phantom of the Opera’ at the Kennedy Center in D. C. There’s nothing better than a good musical, in my opinion. ❤
Yes please on the musicals. I’ll take them in a movie or onstage. Hamilton or Rent are still some of my favorite soundtracks.
Yay for musicals. Not so much for stage productions probably because not alot available near me. But movie productions are a definite. Hope you have a great week.
Yay for musicals. The last live show I went to was a traveling production of Six… and it was so good! I’d definitely go see it again.
Yay for musikals. I wos on a Romeo and Julia musikal and i loved it. I saw the musikal from empress Elizabeth from Austria and loved it too. So a big yay
Yay for musicals, I love Hamilton, Sweeny Todd, and Chicago are among my top favourites, I haven't got to see wicked yet but hoping to soon.
I’m definitely in for a casual Disney diamond paint along in February!
Yay, awesome!! I'm so excited to work on some Disney kits!
Yay for Musicals ❤
Great W.I.P., listening while kitting up Chroma at 5am 😂
5am?! Still awake or woke up early? haha
@DPandDP still awake went to bed about 7am! Insomnia is my bestie 😆
Definite yay for musicals! I’m a theater kid at heart and try to go see off broadway shows in my city when I can. Never seen Wicked on stage though…
I hope you and I both can catch Wicked on stage sometime! I bet it’s a blast!

My grandma used to love Fiddler on the Roof! Fond memories of watching it with her.

Oh, and I was working on my freebie pixyls sticker as I listened! It was fun!
Oh wow, that’s so cool that you stage manage plays and musicals! How fun!
