Nice job. I have purchased two rifles from RTI (No. 4 Mk. 1 ) during a warehouse clearance. I bought two in hopes of being able to put one good rifle together. I was lucky enough to receive two that were almost complete. I found that the condition of RTI surplus rifles, are reflective of the condition of the stock. Dirty rifles and dirty stocks, are not an indicator of wear. The heavier wear on the stock, the heavier wear of the action.

I love your videos. I’m currently making a video following your method on my no1 mk3. I’m a small channel but I made sure to give you credit for where I got the method. And mentioned that you make great videos on how to restore these rifles. Great video as usual!

After watching videos and reading things about Royal Tiger Imports, I became kinda skeptical about it. I've wanted to get an SMLE No 1. Mk III from these guys, but with this, you take a gamble. If I had the stuff to restore one, I'd definitely get one. But this rifle I'd also like to add to my milsurp collection. The straight pull rifles are very unique which makes them cool!

@@averageamerican9427 Yeah I was skeptical at first as well but after having purchased 30+ of their guns prior to having a sponsorship deal with them there was never anything that made it where it was a total waste of money. I always chose to pay the extra $80-100 for a decent bore. That’s why I’m also showing how to do a conservation with these guns. Even though the finishes are usually heavily worn and the stocks fairly dirty, they’ve always been worth it in my opinion as prices on these are only going to go up and I want to take advantage of getting these historical pieces for how low they’re selling them. Not for everyone though which I get

Get the A grade enfield without the bolt. Pay the extra 100 dollars for a good bore. Get a complete bolt from apex gun parts for 87 dollars. All I do is clean up my guns and use linseed oil.

You actually made it better than new... It's not a restore it's like making a 1960's Volkswagen into a 2024 Tesla...
Kinda the same but not really...
The men that made that gun would not have taken all that amount of time to make it...
