Sorry for the lack of uploads, I was quite busy with my personal life and didn't feel as motivated to work on mapping as I did before. Hope this episode can make up for all of that!
this is ...a masterpiece, those several months were completely worth it, in fact i've been able to put together some notes while watching everything this is pretty obvious but i have this theory where i feel like the americans have a divide and control strategy, they'd be friendly with the soviets so that europe is forever in "peace", it reminds me of the age old question "peace without justice" or "justice without peace", the americans want the former, the british want the latter, i think the americans would be increasingly controlling while also slowly developing a hatred for europeans for always "wanting wars and whatnot", think of it as some sort of horseshoe, the capitalist and communist nations, ...say portugal and greece, bavaria and prussia, britain and yugoslavia, they have more in common than their faction leaders, the issue at stake isn't over ideology, it's over being free or controlled
@@shufflethebottom i also forgot to mention, i find turkey telling the soviets about the british alliance offer to turkey very interesting i do wonder if the soviets will respect turkish neutrality, on one hand, the soviets aren't as evil as otl but on another hand, they still are subjugating eastern europe but on another another hand, they appear to face some trauma of sorts with the mention of war so it'd be unlikely that the soviets would invade turkey but the mere fact that turkey is just chilling while being peaceful is very interesting, maybe it's something similar to finlandization ...except turkey was never invaded by the soviets at all unlike finland

I love the analysis as always, it’s a very accurate depiction of the situation in Europe and of every character’s motive. Thanks man!
