About the ending, I have a feeling in this timeline Morgenthau's son died during WW2, which is why Morgenthau decided that Americans should never die in Europe again. It feels really obvious so maybe that's not what's happening. But it's just a theory
No way! New Episode dropped. Here's some observations and theories: 1) While watching the episode, I thought America would intervene in the Hungarian Civil War and was surprised when he didn't. I expected him saying "Britain, stop interfering in other nations" and Britain being like "At least I'm doing shit". I thought it'd play off as some sort of 1956 Suez Crisis parallel where America and the Soviets (err the communists in general in this case) would be united in wanting Britain to stop interfering. But India interfering instead was 10x funnier because of how unhinged it was. 2) Westphalia's comment on wishing Bavaria was occupied by the Soviets instead. While it was obviously heat of the moment, there definitely will be some tension after that with Bavaria just cursing Prussia under her breath. I find it strange how nobody mentioned how the Nazi Party technically started from Bavaria. Theory Time: 1) Whenever Britain figures out (unless he already figured it out) that India was behind helping Yugoslavia into helping the Hungarian Communists, maybe Britain could try to come to an agreement with Pakistan. Now this is a stretch of a theory since Pakistan would hate Britain after colonialism but a stronger than irl Pakistan with more territory could be a good ally. Pakistan would probably fear India declaring war on them. 2) One of the characters I want to desperately hear from the most is either the Faroe nation or the Syria/Lebanon union. While unfortunately I don't think anything's happening with Syria, I feel Faroe would either just join NATO for the sake of it or Denmark would want the Faroes back into its nation considering how Denmark dislikes the Americans for taking Greenland and Iceland.
@@shufflethebottom I shall now proceed to ask for a spoiler Just what is the nation in Syria and Lebanon called? I need to know this, fuck Morgenthau and his plan, this is way more important!
@iwuedfh lmao, I thought I would call it the Levant Union. The first half of the series focuses mainly on Europe, the second half has a bit more parts including the outside world, like with India
Two random things I noticed Jordan doesn’t own Palestine, even though it annexed the West Bank in our timeline after the war of ‘47. Did Palestine and Israel somehow manage a peaceful agreement? If so, wouldn’t it be under the original UN plan that had Palestine as far larger state than it would become in our timeline? The second is that The Arab world is in an interesting state in general, what with no Suez crisis, Lebanon as part of Syria and such. I wonder what is planned for this region… a random guess could be that Syria and Jordan unite to form Bilad al-Sham, an idea held in our timeline that never came to fruition… with the differences that spawn out of Jordan only having its East bank and Syria owning Lebanon, I can see a decent amount of change in this region… I mean with Turkey and likely the rest of the Middle East wanting Soviet and American influence out, and the two superpowers being overly cautious and choosing to reduce the amount of proxy wars, the Arab world is very much free game… Random prediction for the end of the series is Soviet redemption arc that ends in the USSR defeating America and becoming a protector of Europe!
I didn't excepted India to interfere, well can i ask Is Indian milatry in this timeline is very strong or something that UK literally panicked? Or it's just Number of troops? (Which is understandable for any nation to panick)
While the Indian volunteers weren’t as professional as the British army, there were so many to sign up to fight against the British that it changed the tides of the war
Clarification for the ending:
Morgenthau didn’t have any job within the US government in 1923, I used his flag for convenience
Dayum, the legend is back in town and he (or at least his work) is looking better than ever!
Thanks man! (I’m also looking better than ever 😎)

Interesting. The other question is, to what extent is Morgenthau willing to go through to ensure peace?

The Arab world gets more time in the second part of the series, first part is meant to set the stage in Europe
