We study three times a week, 1 theory class, 1 for practical and one for instructor showing how to cook and then our time its 20 hours a week. Now, they change to 24 hours a week, and 24 hours work… we normally start that time at 9 am to 5 pm… but sometimes finishes early…
Chef jobs got pathway to PR, cookery is a safe choice, pastry needs more experience when applying for PR. Honestly, it differs every person kung ano talaga preference mo. Ngayon iyong age care may pathway na din. Depende talaga siya kung ano mo gusto gawin. My case, i really loved to baked but now i am am learning to love doing cooking stuffs too…

Some of my friends, who graduated last december was able to apply for TRA, but when my time it was changed. They kept changing thats the problem. If your really like pastry, you can really do it. But what happen to mine, i need to study cookery again, and it was wrong timing. Its really hard to tell, but I reckon u can still apply depends on immigration and agncy where you did the application, coz some agencies does not help and some did helped a lot. im not pretty sure but my courses na walang pathway for PR, sa hospitality... cookery got a lot of options when it comes to visa unlike sa Pastry na very limited lang ung options, if saan ka na lugar gusto mag stay.

But my heart is really into cooking 🥺 didn't pursue back then because I don't want to be a burden to my parents since all of us 4 siblings are studying in college.

Okay na man, depende lang talaga sa instructor minsan pero subjects are fine. Kaya na kaya mo yun, sometimes the usual problem is the slang/aussie english kasi mabilis talaga sila mag salita, dapat attentive talaga. Marami research, pero thesis wala nmn sa amin not sire with diff. Schools.

@@kwikkayla2010 it varies the job I do, minimum is 21, I work in choc factory before its 25 per hour, and sa airport (stocktaking) 26, 27 atah yun limot ko na ..tas it was stopped because of Covid. Btw, they pay more on weekends.

@@ri-bo3ju yepp, it should be related. Pero its not gonna be easy, it will be quite challenging because if you apply for PR we need to have 3 years experience in pastry, before you apply for PR as well.

not sure with their subjects, but for us we did basics on our stage 1, we cook steak and lamb shanks.

Mas madali talaga pag vaccinated kasindito di pwede work if unvacs, sa research meron nman google so di na mahirapan.
