I've only been playing for six months and it just really astounds me how musicians develop this intuitive sense for music. John presumably just sat down one day and was like "You know what would sound good? Every string tuned to D except for the low E string which obviously should be tuned to B1."
can’t wait to try this tomorrow, this is one of my favourite songs. usually i bounce around between learning songs bc of my ridiculously short attention span but i’m gonna make myself master this song, even if it takes me ages 🤣

Marty, when you moved onto mostly teaching songs, I was kinda disappointed that there won't be as much technique and other nerdy content. But recently I found that this is really gold! Learning songs of all levels, it expands the technical AND musical knowledge. Really cool what you're doing here!
