5 TSBs For the WRX CVT You Should Know About

This video is a discussion on 5 technical service bulletins (TSBs) for the WRX CVT. Some of these are also applicable to the 6M. This is a video series with more videos to follow. I selected these TSBs because I feel they are important to be aware of them as their knowledge can potentially save the owner a headache down the road.

A lot of these are informational TSBs, revised (has “R” at the end of the number), or fairly benign covering simple things like rattles. Again, just because there is a TSB for a known issue does not mean you will ever actually suffer from that issue, or even that you have to take your car in to get checked. Most TSBs are NOT recalls. TSBs are a tool for service centers that help mechanics fix common issues. They help minimize downtime for the customer, and ensure that cars under warranty are fixed with the best information available at the time. They are occasionally revised as new information becomes available.
