Great video! Are you going to do more with Nan? She did an outstanding job. When things open up more, my wife and I are considering a trip there, or move if I have a good enough job offer. If she's still there we will definitely contact her about renting a place for a family of 4.

The metro system in Bangkok has been extended and will be extended significantly in the next few years. Even today, it's not hard to find 1-bedroom condo that costs around $300 or less a month if you're okay with living a bit far from downtown but these neighborhoods still have everything you need. They are where local middle-class people actually live.
I agree. Make the next video for the 20,000-40,000 Baht plus range rather than just miss out the 20-30k (ish) budgets. Great videos though and it does show you can live well in Bangkok on a decent budget.
I'm Thai.If you are not worried to travel by BTS 30 min to 1 Hr. to the city center. Outside the city, there are tons of homes that are over 2,000 square feet for less than 1000$. In Thailand most condo is expensive. If compared with a single house with the same usable area, but condo close to center city more than house. In my area is at end of BTS line. Single house 2,200 sq.ft is around 600-700 $
@@SeeCatMeow that's not that cheap. I have a 2700 square foot house and spend less than $1000/mo. And i can shoot guns whenever i want. How do thais treat private firearms?

So easy to eat out in Bangkok. Thanks for posting up the different price comparisons. Really valuable information for my retirement plans.
Bangkok has really nice affordable condominiums. A little bit further away from city center will get you even better prices with same amenities. Well done Chris, thanks for showing the building and area. And Kuhn Nan off course.

These are nice, but you are paying a bit for location. Move a bit further out and you can get exactly the same sort of apartments for $250-300 a month. And depending on lifestyle the locations may even be better. E.g. Ramkhamhaeng has The Base, DCondo for $280 a month, they are right next to the airport line, easy to get out of Bangkok and are only 5-10 mins from Thonglor/Ekkamai, and have the full resort style facilities. And then for those that want cheaper you can even get new studio rooms for around $120-150 in places like Udom Suk - still on BTS

Thanks for the videos on the apartments & costs. The Nana and On Nut locations were especially interesting for us as we enjoy those areas of Sukhumvit. Over the last few years we've mostly used airbnb to book condos, simply because of visa requirements, and we like to move around a bit. The 'virus' put a cramp in our plans, because we were caught back in the states, and not able to return yet. The Q House looks especially interesting as On Nut location suits our lifestyle - and Corner 79 is a short walk! Thanks for the videos!!

Just watched all the videos - I would actually love to see some older apartment blocks as if like here on the Gold Coast older blocks tend to have much bigger rooms, would be interested to compare.
I would love to see you stick to the $500-600 range, and see what's available further out along the BTS. I suspect you can get some larger condos, but still be within easy walking difference of a Tesco or Big C and shopping malls, and if not, just a few stops away along the BTS. There's no need to be in central Bangkok.

I really like these condo videos. It would be great to see some affordable Bangkok Condos for sale - by affordable I mean below 10m baht. I’d also be more interested in the 1k-2k rental range. Excellent work as always sir. By the way I think a pink / purple dressing gown type thing like NaN has would suit you !

Wow I Like All Of Them 💙I Live In Canada And Rent Is Crazy High 600 Just For Bachelor Apartment, Heat +Lights Extra And I Also Pay To Use Washer and Dryer😲
Rented a Condo near there in 2003 for B4000 a month . ( the Thai Baht was weaker then so it amounted to around just 100 Euros a month ) Old style Thai Condo but had a nice pool and good security .Called Krung Tape Condominium surprisingly enough .Then , On Nut was the last stop on the BTS .It was a 100% Thai community then with many cheap places to eat .
With all the great restaurants and street food literally steps away, I think that small kitchen area should be enough for most people. I think many Bangkok apartments are like that for that reason.
Awesome video. When you do the next $1000 USD video can you also include one of those condos back in Nana like you did this time? Great video keep it up!
That would be great to see 1 to 2K rental options. Regarding the three condos; the pricing on those is for, 1-year, 6 months, or is that by the month contract? Great videos and look forward to more; just subscribed! Cheers from Alaska!

Im here in Ontario Canada in a city and has grown into nothing but tech Google/Opentech/Amazon etc. have a few rental units looking to buy a few more before I retire ( 15yrs ) but geez, the city, the people the prices that looks like an amazing place to live 6 months of the yr..half here half there. Given me a lot to think about.
This was great, thank you for making these videos. Exactly what I was looking to see. Very nice places and great locations too!
Very informative and Nan is a star!
On Nut has a place called Best Beef.. amazing place to go eat, i'd recommend to both tourists and locals. Lots of locals there eating too. families and groups of friends..
Hi Chris ! It’s the great move to the properties video, you help the country a great deal so the world knows Thailand still the great country to live and visit
Good job ! please searching more condo similar like those low price ,thank you so much .
Khun is on top of everything...great!
"Khun" (คุณ) isn't a part of her name. This word equal to "Ms."
Much for me to learn in the Kingdom...thanks for my starter lessons...but more important then...what is her first name? Toink!
Ahhhhhhh,,,,Nan....don't bother hah!
Great videos Chris. Thank you so much for all you share regarding retiring in Thailand. You are Awesome!! Yes would like to see rentals for $1000-2000/ month
Do video with $700 to $1,200 USD range abs then another one from $1,200 to $2,000. This way you cover all your basis. 1-3 bedrooms from 499 sq ft. units to 1,000 sq ft units. Thanks again. Great video.
I really like these condo videos. It would be great to see some affordable Bangkok Condos for sale - by affordable I mean below 10m baht. I’d also be more interested in the 1k-2k rental range. Excellent work as always sir. By the way I think a pink / purple dressing gown type thing like NaN has would suit you !
yeah, i could rock that gown!
These 3 videos were great thanks for sharing. I have one question, all 3 condos came with a washer but no dryer. Where do you Dry your clothes ?
Thanks Chris! Yeah, I would love to see some $1000+ mark videos as well! Cheers
You got it! Coming some time in a month or so.
This just makes me want to move to Bangkok haha. Looking at apartments around the world can be so fascinating!
Well put together series , loved seeing the differences there are for the area and cost , for me walking and exploring is the go , will watch more because i can't explore ...
Top job mate, very respectful to the girls..and giving them great opportunities.
Wow I Like All Of Them 💙I Live In Canada And Rent Is Crazy High 600 Just For Bachelor Apartment, Heat +Lights Extra And I Also Pay To Use Washer and Dryer😲
Oh wow!
Great information! Love the condos and your choice of music!
That would be great to see 1 to 2K rental options. Regarding the three condos; the pricing on those is for, 1-year, 6 months, or is that by the month contract? Great videos and look forward to more; just subscribed! Cheers from Alaska!
Love the idea of seeing more tours... very interesting to see what you get a the different rent levels.
She is beautiful... the part where she open her notebook for an answer was funny but at least she didnt try to give an answer that might not be true like some others might.
