  • Having had clutch problems with my PR7 periodically from new I, like many others, have been looking for a better option. This option has now appeared on the 2024 model in the form of a Brembo DOT 4 master and Oberon slave cylinders.
    The complete Brembo clutch kit is now available as a retro fit item, which comes pre assembled and filled with fluid ready to go. So don't play with the lever when it arrives.

      Definitely not cheap! But it does get me a DOT 4 system which will hopefully improve reliability 🤞🤞🤞😏

    Thanks for this video, interesting, I have a PR7 from 2021, I changed the clutch receiver with an Oberon as a preventive measure at 16200 km, there were no problems with the original one. At 28100 km, the original master cylinder failed, and I had to change the piston and seals (aliexpress kit), as the clutch had been acting up for a while. Since then, I've always a clutch master cylinder repair kit with me, just in case.

      You have had much better luck than me, my master failed at 8500kms and the Oberon did about 4k and original slave did about 8k in total... perhaps it's me😁

      @@markp87PR7 Surprising for the Oberon, just for information, when I received the Oberon the clip that holds the ball / piston was not correctly positioned, perhaps if I had mounted it without looking it would have failed quickly. Today the Oberon has 15300 km

      @@chelmialouest_motorcycle3036 I really hope this new system will perform as well as yours. The time off the road and cash spent, let alone the couple of 40kms rides home clutch less, are wearing a bit thin 😁

    I put Oberon slave cylinder and Magura master cylinder. Works perfect and the price is way lower. Magura cost like 330€.

      As part of my upgrade I wanted to get away from specialist fluids. Also, the version of the Magura I looked at didn't have the combined mirror mount. So taking all that into account I preferred the Dot4 option of the Brembo 🤞😎

    Hi, thank you for this short video. I have an AJP PR 7 from 2023 my clutch transmitter is identical to the one on the right however the receiver is different, I ordered a replacement OBERON CLU 1500 in case of breakdown, but I leave the original one as long that it works. What is the model year of your motorcycle and how many kilometers have you traveled it?

      Mine is a 2021 model and I've covered just over 12k so far. I have had the original master seal fail and both the standard and Oberon slaves fail. I'm hoping this new setup will be more reliable🤞

      @@markp87PR7 mine has 8500km ordered in May 2023 received at the end of September 2023. I have not had any problems with the clutch transmitter or receiver for the moment. you have not made use of the guarantee or the formal defect in the case of a spare part which is original defective given the low mileage this is not normal. The fact that the problem is known should not make it acceptable

      @@atprodT700 I agree, the first issue I had was a split master cylinder rubber at around 8500kms. Clutch had not been great from purchase and the split looked suspiciously like a screwdriver blade damage on installation, a fact I passed back to AJP France. The Oberon failure was my biggest surprise. Sadly, both events happened outside of the time warranty of the manufacturer. But yes, you would hope that the low Kms would warrant some manufacturer consideration. I'm praying the investment was worth it, we shall see 🤞

      @@markp87PR7 I have the 2022 model. 15k and at this stage no issue with system. Works fine.

      No I don't unfortunately. Nothing visible on the cylinder. www.gasafonsvng.com/es/accesoris/ in Spain are showing them for sale at 121.93 euros & Oberon for 209.95 + shipping. The pipe is much thicker than the original and fitment on the master is different so AJP order for 2024 model or get one made I suppose. Sorry I can't be more help.
