    A lot of RDR easter eggs can be found in gta online, for the past couple of updates rockstar really tried to connect these two universes together.

      I think it's best to say the rockstar games share a multiverse rather than existing in the same universe due to many differences each franchise has, some are definitely connected but definitely not everything.

      Getting tired of seeing these comments. They've made the game easier and easier to make money over the years. They even reduced the overall daily bills by over half. You just suck at financing/investing if you can't make millions in GTA Online. That's not Rockstar's fault.

    GTAV would really benefit from some of the RDR2 wilderness design. I know the star of the game is los santos but I would be much more into exploring the mountains In GTAV if they would have just added some more immersive set pieces. Even the animal life is missing. The rural parts of GTAV Feel separated desolate, and isolated from the city for no reason. I get that the games are like 6-7 years apart and obviously RDR2 single player is a masterpiece… but I can’t help but feel like they really over looked GTAV wilderness areas.

    • @gabecurran342
      @gabecurran342 2 роки тому +19

      As much as I agree I think the wilderness would be wasted in gta as it’s much more of fast paced game instead of RDR2 u can spend 3 in game days hunting and not even blink an eye where’s in gta you can go in ur 4 million pound car and fly over the map I just think wilderness wouldn’t reallly hit the same feels in gta as it does in RDR2

    • @bakedinspiration
      @bakedinspiration 2 роки тому +11

      @@gabecurran342 right, but you kinda just proved my point. If the wilderness areas are a waste in GTAV … then why did rockstar include it into the game? And that’s more to the point that I’m attempting to make. What’s the point of including all this vast area if there’s literally nothing to stumble upon besides a few Easter eggs and some campers and hikers here and there. As someone who’s put a lot of hours into GTAV, the north part of the map just feels like a loop freeway that I drive around and the beaches and Forrest are pointless. But I 100% agree with you, I’m not trying to advocate for riding a horse through sandy shores for 3 days. Just that in comparison the level of detail was really missing all together and left me feeling like maybe they just ignored creating the same living world feel that los santos had. Also wanna point out that I’m literally pulling at strings to find anything wrong with GTAV’s level design. Visually It’s one of the best maps ever created. It’s like asking god to make a sunset more beautiful.

    I think it's references for Red Dead Redemption 1 in fact... The 2 was in its infancy in 2013, RDR 1 was "fresh" in minds, and the most of easter eggs and ref. are about John, and the map of the first game. Also in RDR1, Jack talks about being a writer. When he and John are riding to Bonnie's for cattle, Jack talks of this.
    People keep asking if the GTA and RDR games take place in the same universe. But I think MOST movies, TV, and video games are meant to be fictional towns in our real world. The writers, directors, producers, actors all talk of realism and they mention REAL cities, states, countries (RDR2 speaks of Mexico, Boston, Italy, Chicago, Reno, and more); so why isnt it in our real world? Things like "Lord of the Rings" are the fictional universes. Just my 2 cents.

Yeah, yeah, he gives you a mission and upon completion he gives you a really cool looking one-of-a-kind revolver from his collection as a reward and tells you that it's rumored to be haunted by the spirit of an old gunslinger from the remains of the dying Old West. also mt gordo (which is best known in game as the location the ghost spawns) is another name from RDR gordo being the legendary boar in RDR 1

    Another cool video 😍 but these clues looks like more referenced by RDR than RDR2 🤔
    I think that because most of easter take they references to the desert.
    But, Arthur's reference and the 1899 dollar are mindblowing!

    Im pretty sure that the Arthur's pass trails is a councidence since we get introduced to Arthur in red dead 2 and nobody talked about him in red dead 1 so they "teased" us with a random name 5 years before rdr2 came out and I dont think rockstar was thinking nor being in progress in writing rdr2's script that far ahead
