You're becoming my secret weapon Pete, I don't play much progressive yet, but alot of the tactics can still be transferred to fixed, like positioning and not holding continents to avoid putting a target on your back. Great match, thanks for sharing!
Was that someone me? I think I only slightly disagreed. Also 2nd to last turn could have card blocked holding the board...but the mighty Pete doesn't need it
Soften with the 7 first, words of wisdom and a great learning point. Side query, did they speed up the stack splitting speed? Thanks, you Rock! So does Reg. Lol Bob is my uncle lol, gg Pete
I tried to soften a big stack one time (it was like 7-10 or something like that) and I ended up accidentally taking the territory and messing up the kill. I was so disappointed.
"Do they continue?" Says he while sipping calmly on that cup of tea Love ur content buddy,it might be lower views than a lot of videos but surely very enjoyable for people like me looking for chilling board game content. Love from albania
Great advice, only exception to this is on very large maps where you'd rather spend every second crippling the opponent. Unless you are amazingly fast at checking the cards those couple of seconds can be the diffirence between wiping a stack and falling short giving your opponent a chance to run around and maybe even grab a kill in the worst case.
11:20 there are was a way to not spend joker. But i think, if I was in this position, i could miss it too. and then you anyway use this extra joker to match at 14:05
When we played this map if u remember i was trapped in Australia letting others hold the monopoly on my kill and dictate when i die what would be the Right move in that situation do i stop adding to the position and accept it lost do i use my match to get out do i just make it too costly to remove me from said position
It really depends. Generally I avoid Australia entirely and let other people fight each other. But if I'm gifted Oz turn 1 the extra troops can be very powerful.
I had a game with the baller this evening too, he did however bot out early unfortunately. On a posetive note though 🙂 i did reach grandmaster 😉 i was not in a rush to get there, but it is something i wanted to obtain at some point
Sry if this sounds jealous but this guy think he is a smartass playing agaisnt noobs...I mean I know how to play the game and sometimes I am just playing to pass time and just make whatever plays. Most people playing this game dont care that much. Its not hard being "good" in a game like this. No hate at all.
You were very very very lucky in this game. You've made a lot of mistakes and were lucky that orange and magenta didn't know how to play progressive cards.
@@TheKillPeteStrategy I had my earlier account winrate somewhere 700 to 600 for wins . Lost my account and started again. now it is 124 to 127. I play only casual with original rules. it would be nice to test you in 6 player match with real original rules

Glad to hear it's working out. Happy to help.
It feels like I had this exact conversation with someone the other day 🤔
It felt like a good idea for a video
Im happy with the outcome

I like seeing someone outher than me actually attempting to improve themselfs

I'm able to split so quickly by using the scroll wheel on my mouse and a lot of practice.

If you have time slow roll, or use the slider.
Accidentally making the kill is the worst.
Love your videos, thank you for sharing your experience!
You're most welcome! I'm so glad you're enjoying my work.
Orange got a crazy good roll on AU. Not sure how -2 to -8 is balanced haha.
It probably isn't.
The dice have skewed defensive more recently.

Thank you!
I'm not too worried about the views. My focus is making the best video I can make and if people like it then that's gravy.
@@TheKillPeteStrategy youre for sure succeeding in that keep it up
Looking at the Upgrade of the Audio is crazy
Could have saved a joker at 11:24. Remember to check your double matches kids

@@jaakkokosola5948 Good point!
I saw that too late.
Hey guys, I'm new to the game and didn't understand what his mistake was exactly? Thanks!
Another old video, this one with a clear lesson: soften up with that smaller stack! ❤
Not too soft!
How are you able to attack so quickly?

at 11:27 is there a reason you didnt use the alaska card for more troops or is it just a mistake? I forget how risk works.

Congrats on GM Torbjorn! Feels good man.
@@TheKillPeteStrategy thanks 🙂❤️
When you tried to Yellow you should have softened the stack in Katchatca with the7 in Japan and you would have got him
Feeding the algorithm
Where do you find these newbies with expert ranks?
Yellow as a beginner with 782 hours played is weird.
This is good content :3
Agreed
I'm so glad you like it iAleXx!
How come you are so much faster than everyone else?
Because the devs have new players handicapped as a default.

Like what?
Your win % is horrible. It is very easy to get 50% winrate at least if you have pation.
Huh?
