Hey Pete. I would just thank you for the good tv show you are creating. I'm currently in the hospital after a mototcycle accident, and your videos and topics have helped me through the worst parts of my stay.
Hope you are feeling better brother! I haven't been this consistent with following a youtuber for a very long time. So much knowledge and character in one show.
42:52 The way you split into new guinea avoid the extra fortify is just another little thing i could add to my end game thanks Pete ❤( even tho the bad roll meant you needed to fortify it anyways)
Lots to learn from in this game. The manoeuvring to get to NA when the way opened, the patient negotiation to team white and prepare for kill and 1v1. It could have gone wrong if Pete didn't have a set on 3 but Red gambled and lost.
Can you speak about opening strategy? I feel like I'm patient enough in later rounds but I've had some horrific games because I made the wrong decision in the first rounds. This is frustrating because I'm familiar with graph theory and I try to apply it but it seems to backfire more than it should. What do you look for when first analyzing a auto board?
The first rounds are like 98% politics and avoidance. Nothing you do will matter if one of your stacks gets slammed into. For each opponent, try to understand what they're after and do whatever you can to not be the player in the way of that.
Graphs are data structures, and the theory for them allows for studying and implementing algorithms to solve mathematical problems that represent real world problems Suppose you are on a 1v1. You have X troops and opponent has y distributed across the board. What is the most optimal pathing that runs the whole board? In this cases the nodes of the graph have a cost associated (the number of troops in it) and they connect to other nodes according to the connections in the board. This is a problem could easily be in a computer science class or exam
Another entertaining game. How about that green player? The end 3 vs 3 game was interesting. Baiting pink into killing red was a great move. It being fixed, the cards were not at all worth it. Plus you seemed to get joy from seeing red taken out. lol
Apologies if this seems a silly question; at 8:25 what was the point of this? You add 2 troops in, make an attack just to fortify 2 troops out. Would it not have been better to add to EU and continue there? Is it just to look like a homie or something? Not too sure what I am missing.
If the roll goes well (4v1) Pete will lose no troops. This allows for 1 troop that would have for sure been destroyed to leave the bonus another player was trying to take. While not seemingly important, preserving troops is very important. The roll could have gone bad and he loses 1 troop but it was going to be destroyed anyway so its worth trying. There is also a homie aspect that shows your willingness to help them achieve their goal by getting as many troops out of the way as possible.
Removing the extra troop from Madagascar was a friendly move to the Africa player and good for me because I was otherwise going to lose it plus my neighbour knows they can work with me. Win win
@@TheKillPeteStrategy Pete you may call some guys f***ing idiots but you still have the ability to just make me smile at any time in your videos. I just got interested a few weeks ago because of you and I’m already a master because of your videos!

Hey pete, what time do you start streaming on Fridays? My wife and I have been playing irl Risk for a long time and we enjoy your vids. We would like to know when you start streaming so we can tune in :) Thanks!
"I hate this spawn"....bruh...that's what all my spawns look like. It's so bad we can be playing advanced Europe and 19 of my troops will spawn in 28 days later😂
Curious, Pete if you were white at 16:00 would you just move up to Europe instead of taking Africa? That's what I would've done, take the free +5 instead of just a +3
No I don't like that. Because it's easily another turn or two before you can take EU with any sort of guard since all of the material is in Africa. The plus three now is valuable
I was dealing with 3 players in a 6 person game that played just like green they laughed emoji me everytime they took territory leaving just 1 only stacks all over the place. Those 3 players gave me a lot of cards! :D
I'm no a fancy man as well. My go-to is Bulleit. You are awesome, Pete. Keep winning! I would love to play you sometime. Although it wouldn't be a challenge for you.
What did we learn this week folks? It's called the KILL Pete Strategy not the BREAK Pete Strategy for a reason 😂
Yeah if you hit me you probably should finish
Hard to believe anyone wouldn't 'finish' with you 😉

I am right here, I witnessed the beautiful cards at the end. Well done!
Lollll
They sent em alright

The improvements can come from tiny increments like that.
I don't get it tbh. In that position, you're (almost?) always fortifying the big stack out to leave it open, by splitting you're leaving troops behind
@@BeboGamesI think he was initially intending to leave the 18 in Australia but decided to guard Africa w it after he lost the roll
just got my first win, i really felt my inner Napoleon screaming inside me chest 😂
The beginning or an epic career
140 people watching Pete play live but nearly 2.k watches in the first hour. Pete you have amazing content and we all love it thoroughly.
I'm so blessed that my work is being enjoyed!

I win a lot of these classic fixed 1v1s by going into them close and winning though a combination of luck and skill
26:42 I'm imagining you crip walking on some random noob's corpse 💀
13:13 you actually motivated me to do 30 pushups
Nice one. Also thank you. Won a game I thought I was going to lose badly earlier today thanks to your teaching.
Fantastic! Well played
When red wiped Magenta I was literally repeating ...
"And Bob is IN fact your uncle"
Hahaha 👍🤣
It's a good one 🤣🤣🤣 I'm definitely gonna stick with it
Pete, you’re the man! Im getting better by watching. Also thinking clearer in other aspects of life. Strategy!

8:35 is orange playing cautious? Or do they see green being an idiot and saving them for the kill?
Red should of camped out in AU and left the pink bot there as a guard. Then put all troops in the exterior and play there.
Sucks that the card farm was so expensive though
Pittsburgh gang!!! (I was reading chat around 25:00)
Pete must be the most wholesome guy I’ve ever seen.
Let's not go that far

In a position like magnetia, should you not take another card to devalue urself from being killed or should you risk it?
There are definitely times where skipping may be the only way you stay alive

Hey Pete, are you streaming on Twitch at night time only for the month of may or is it your new standard-time?
I'm going to return to a more regular schedule as my other work stuff cools off but for the next few weeks I'll be doing more streams in the evening.

pete had too much fun when people die trying to roll bad odds

Orange shoulda broke you after red did. You didn't have cards to retaliate. Lucky man!

Purple it’s red, Im betting you watch Pete. Im sorry about the game I was enjoying the Friday night! Sorry I fucked up with White.
Has anyone ever tried a +9 Asia-Australia play on a 3-point guard?
It's a good way for the australia player to win if everyone else is fighting amongst themselves.
We will never know the true rank of the green player...
