i have it and its so hard to live each day every year its getting worse, hope that i can live normaly one day:(
Big respect to Bobby. To him and those who have FASD: It is NOT your fault! You are worth every bit of time, love, and kindness.
I'm glad I had a good mom
Hi my name is Lydia, and I have FASD as well. My Birth mom drank alcohol when I was in her womb. I also have a twin brother that has it too. I was adopted when I was almost 3 years old. So beyond blessed i was accepted to a loving Christian family who loves me and my brother. Yes I have my days where I struggle with Trauma from the past. I also have bi Polar and emotional issues. I have ADHD as well. I’m now 26 married to an amazing Godly man. We have been married for 2 years. I have recently gotten another job. I love working playing sports and hanging out with friends, family, and my husband. I love making music and so does my husband.
I have poor impulse control, anger, frustration, and mood swings, depression. It's not an easy way to live, but at least I have food and clothing and a home. Right? Two arms, two legs.Yay!
I would love to learn more about your story..... sounds like you may have a story or two tucked up your sleeve......... I love the attitude you have to not let it dictate your life..... you are a strong soul!! ❤
@@Bobbyguard1 for sure. Yes,I don't have time this moment, but another time. Thanks
It is certainly not easy to live with the things you named... Nobody deserves to live in a negative bubble of pain. I have chronic severe depression myself, so I can resonate with you.
If only more people had that kind of outlook. Good on you! ❤
Dam , I sorry this is the hand you were dealt .
Hi my name is Emily and I was also born with FASD my birth mother drank alcohol when I was in the womb and after I was born she put me up for adoption because she couldn't take care of me she sadly picked alcohol over me now I'm 19 years old in a loving family that accepts me for who I am just wanted to let the world know 😊❤❤
Mum had a very bad and strong addiction my lovely. She probably didn't mean to harm you. Its really hard to get off alcohol. I'm sorry about what u have because of your mum . But honestly she didn't intend to make you have fasd.
@@sorayacroton1399 you're right now that I think about it 🙂
I'm so sorry for the hand you were dealt. I'm learning FASD is more common now than ever especially since the pandemic. There must be more education and rehab's to prevent this to continue . Thank you for sharing your story .
I also have FASD. My birth mother drank alcohol when I was in my mother’s womb too. I also was adopted when I was 3. I have a twin brother as well that has FASD. We both got adopted the same time. So thankful to God I have a loving adopted family who loves me and supports. I have Some what a learning curve. I used to have really bad tantrums and behavior issues. Now I’m married to a Godly man. I have a car, I struggle still with some impulse and depression and I have Bi polar. I’m 26 years old now. I don’t know nothing about my birth parents, and that’s ok.
S/o to Bobby! Despite his difference in brain structure/chemistry, he's more level-headed and coherent than a lot of neurotypical people I know.
Thank you for your kind words and acceptance..... not everyone shares your your thoughts and feelings; it is quite refreshing to not see negativity. Take care of yourself ❤
I agree! I worked with someone in her forties who had the same disorder and she couldn’t even talk coherent and her brain was more like a teenagers. The disorder must affect people differently.
@@Nadsow it’s a spectrum thing like autism so it definitely affects people differently
@@Bobbyguard1 thanks for sharing your story. God bless you. You're a beautiful young man. Hope you have the best day today, only God knows our limits ❤ you're incredible
You are a lovely young man. And u are a very clever person. My son has fasd he is 29 years old. He's so happy now we have got him on risperidol. It's a fantastic mood stabiliser . Luke use to be so aggressive and anxious . Now he us a totally different young man. He will always have his problems . But it's lively to see him so well. God bless you sir ❤❤
Hey Bobby if you're reading the comments section I hope you're doing well, and I thank you for making this video.
Looking at him phsyically it's like looking into mirror, and lot of it is FASD facial characteristics. My FASD is mild and has been mostly shown itself in difficulties learning mathematics and on the other hand difficulties reading social cues and always picking on if somebody is being truthful or not, even when they're obviously joking.
As a person with fas thank you for making this
I do have FASD but the only thing I can see the changes is my mouth when I smile, speech difficulties and delays, having trouble with math and that's it for me
And u have a good heart . ❤❤
What changes in your mouth when you smile?
Bobby, thank you for sharing your experiences. Your confidence and honesty will help educate others. I'm on the autism spectrum myself and know too well the struggles we can face with invisible neurodevelopmental disabilities.
Thanks for sharing your experience Bobby, id would have liked to hear what your day to day main difficulties are.
Thank you for sharing your story!
You are very welcome. Thank you for watching; it is greatly appreciated!! ❤
thank you for your story!
Thanks for sharing your story!
Thank you for taking the time to watch the video..... awareness is so important but overlooked very often..... stay safe, happy and healthy ❤
What up.. Bobby boy!
It's me Andy from TP
God bless brah👊🙂
This guy is More Normal that Normal itself. I believe he conquered his mother's shortcomings.
Very well said
Much appreciated. Thank you for taking the time to watch this video ❤
@@Bobbyguard1My dude, I hope you’re doing so well right now. Mad respect to you for being so open.
Just remember its not your fault
Thank you. That was very kind to say and couldn't be more accurate. I hope someone in needs finds wisdom in you to help them through a tough day.. stay strong ❤
it's your mothers fault
@@Bobbyguard1 hi! Of course it is not your fault and you are very courageous to expose yourself. You are so brave to do what you did .
How do I know if I have it
Is that what Beyoncé has?
🙏🙏🙏🕯️💜🌹
Bruh why I feel like I got this
Did your mother dtink when you were in the womb?
People call me a pyschopath and pyschotic for having FASD😔
Go and see your doctor lovely . Ask him about risperidol. My son he's 29 and has fasd. He was aggressive and very anxious and kept worrying about things . He's on this medication now and he's so happy . And he doesn't worry anymore . He's very well now ❤❤❤❤
I'm sorry but this explained nothing about what people with FASD struggle with
It does though? Not everyone with FASD have the same struggles, this is his story. My father (Bobby) said in this video that he struggles with learning and behaviour issues. He does still deal with this in his everyday life, though it’s gotten way better since he was a child.
