I saw someone say it's quite standard practice. Don't talk about the bad stuff, don't share opinions etc. IF they have actual evidence go to the police. Don't ruin the good vibes & lose money from everyone else on holiday.

In fact I’ve become a bit obsessed because everyday there’s some new twist to the narrative. And the strange behaviour of his mum is intriguing. I suppose the mum ain’t happy about the negative perception the majority of people online have. When your kid goes missing and most people think that the likelihood of it being somehow self inflict, be it through stupidity, or partaking in criminal action, the court of public opinion will turn against you and not show further support. Absolutely everyone seems shady in this story and there doesn’t even seem to be any effort put into appearing truthful and transparent. Friends don’t show their faces, don’t sound saddened or surprised. No public appeals from friends and family, the mum doesn’t even partake in searches. Nobody addresses his criminal past with at least a BS statement about how much he regretted his actions and turned a page.

I expected to see posters everywhere. Not only posters but detailed maps of the last ping. I have seen 1 black and white poster of Jay that’s weathered already. I ve seen his father and brother on their balcony (50yards away) To say his dad is all over social media saying he wants an “army” of searchers up there, he isn’t trying very hard to accumulate one.
If the police think those two people are irrelevant, then they must be going only on the theory that he is in hiding?

Exactly; all broken families, lead to the children going off the rails, either mentally or committing crimes; She basically raised him, alone; and let him do what he wanted. I have questioned how a young lad of 18/19, could afford to buy the designer clothes and accessories that Jay can be seen wearing in all of his photos; unless of course, they are cheap fake copies from a local Lancashire market? Armani, Kenzo; Tom Ford, Boss, Versace, Gucci, etc.etc.

I'm guessing the family are upset that they are hearing things about their sons character they are embarrassed about, like drug taking, mixing with known convicted drug dealers, being charged with a serious assault. What about the tens of thousands donated to find him, what have they spent that on?
His parents aren't putting up a reward for him. They should have done that from the beginning out of the GFM money instead of using it to buy other things for themselves. And funding their holiday. Comments from Ppl on social media aren't hindering anything ffs.

We have very little information about this investigation , which is contributing to all the speculation . It's like a crime story with no outcome ...as yet
I work in Intelligence and it's not at all unusual for several investigations to be running parallel, yet details only being released of one.
Even then, some details released may well be deliberate misinformation.

There was a tik Tok yesterday - terrible smell in the mountains near where Jay was missing. Police took the video down. I suspect that was the location. RIP
HR. Could you, at some point, find out and talk about 'search bees'. People think I've lost my marbles with this but I first heard about the concept well over a decade ago. The theory is that they are incredibly good at finding what they associate with a food source and really quick to train on a scent. They're cheap to maintain. They can go places that land mammals can't. Once one locates the source - it returns to tell the others and then they all head for it. They can cover huge areas and detect on a molecular level.
I've never been able to figure out how, then, their human 'handlers' can track where they go but there will be a technological solution and I think it is amazing and they might completely revolutionise situations where people go missing. We stick to old and often inefficient approaches out of cuteness and sentimentality. I want 'search bees' to be properly assessed and evaluated.

I don't think he's in that ravine, for as you said the birds, there are about four species of birds of prey who can't be classed as vultures and also there were that many people in there and dogs. One of them would have smelled something.
Most families of missing persons fight to keep their loved ones in the spotlight least they be forgotten - any publicity be it positive or negative is irrelevant as long as it keeps the attention going in the hope it encourages someone to talk and shine a light on what happened.

His body out there somewhere . If law enforcement would've done thorough search to begin with then id second guess myself . After 12 days half asses making seem like they were actually doing something . Then literally 2 people on foot after that. Yeah ok. I believe all the area that the authorities searched they avoided the rough areas and just missed his body . Why is nobody considering their searching half ass from day 1 to be a factor why they haven't found him yet?? Everybody in fantasy worlds trying to come up all the off their rocker stories . Our hearts go out to the friends and family who will be grieving at this time. Hopefully with our full support and genuine concerns for the family this will provide the evidence needed for a full investigation both in the UK and Tenerife
Sadly no matter the reason as soon as you hit the news you become public property and that means everyone will have an opinion.

The reason why social media is a cesspool is due to the fact low culture is promoted in Britain, not higher culture. I saw a news report about a half hour ago saying they found his body. It was quickly retracted and about 15 mins ago they reposted saying "a body" was found during the search for him.

If social media is not given a positive line to follow in a case then it must be expected that they will look towards any possible senario that may fit the narrative. It is un fair to point the finger at the actions of social media when little appears to be posted officially to show the positive course in trying to solve what happened to Jay by the official parties involved.

I agree if they say that these are vile conspiracy theories then they must know somewhat of the truth. I believe jay was definitely at that villa Ayub would not of admitted him being there if he didn’t have to they could of just as easily if said we dropped him back off at Veronica strip or somewhere. Someone knew outside of Ayub and the invisible man knew jay was there. Jay May if we’ll go a to get the charger and robbed the watch but I don’t see him being that stupid. Well chances he was the one found is great due to his clothes, wallet & phone with the body. Very sad. However, at least the family does not have to wonder anymore, they can properly put him to rest. I won't say heal, because that does not happen when it's your child. I pray for strength for the parents. 😢🙏😊
