It is the best pre-styler i have ever tried and just a tad better then original... and I have tried all the bluemaan line as pre-stylers unbelievable product unbelievable and it’s good for your hair without any tugging going in wet as did all the other products... original was the best I had every used truly inane... but this... this is a new level

How does it compare to a lightweight mousse? Heat activated prestyler, lightweight, natural smooth finish. I would guess the mousse (even lightweight) is more rigid but more volume, but wondered if you had a take

I love using pomades but the problem is my hair is hard to get volumized so I use ascend and fifth sample as prestyler and fifth sample as post styler

Really liked the video. But in the end I don't really get for what purpose I should buy this product?
I’ve been using the Cloud Control as a pre styler because I have dry thick hair that is hard to control. It does help my hair, it feels nice and soft but I want something that can provide volume.
Should I keep using the Cloud Control and get the Original Styling Meraki or the Fifth Sample Pomade (heard those two get you some crazy volume). Or should I give this a try and then use a post styler? I usually use shampoo and then I blow dry.
Try a Mousse
Roodsteam I’ve doing more research and I think that might be the best. I heard if you have dry hair like mine maybe a sea salt spray is not the best day and to get volume you should use a mousse
does this product make your thicker for thinner hair types ?
Idk if you mentioned it or not I may have just missed it.
I did mention this but what I explained was that they do say it thickens but I had a hard time finding evidence in my own hair that it was doing that. I have thick hair already so it was hard to see what the ascend was doing, if it was just my own hair or the product.
Hey matt I have a medium to thick coarse hair type and I think I need a product with some a natural shine to come with my thicker hair and to provide I was thinking gray ghost but what would you recommend

Smiggles Miggles use it in moderation. I believe I covered that either in this one or another video but just don’t overload it and you should be ok.

Just bought ascend and monarch Bc of this . Im growing out my hair (10 inches on top and around 6 inches on side ) and want to slick it back instead of always wearing a beanie or a cap . Thanks hopefully this works for me

This was not a product I was particularly interested in given that I have moderately thick hair and this is aimed at finer haired folks, but the review is as solid as always. I love how lately you've just been calling out the idiots before they even get a chance to be idiots 😂
Ohh well their always on deck ready to go. I saw questions in the blumaan community the last couple days. People see a new product and instead of asking what the individual properties of the product are, they go right to what can I be compared to.

Question bro, I m looking for a post styler that is great for optimising hair health and also has ease of application and wash out with medium-firm hold and pliability. any recommendation?
There’s quite a few out there. My dauntless line up seems to tick every box you mentioned But I’m hesitant to offer that because it will just sound like I’m plugging my own stuff haha but if your looking for pomade then fifth sample is optimized for health. The nevermore/phantasm products at the lockharts are also optimized for health and washout. There’s so many haha
Modern Man TV what is a stand out for nourishing the hair and making it feel healthy and soft, with also the criteria I mentioned in mind ?
I generally just look for some healthy oils and things present. Like our products for example contain great oils like apricot oil, grape seed oil, Argan oil and they even contain keratin protein.

I’ve done stuff on it in the past. One is my wedding ring, one is a family ring, the other is a ring I got for the nevermore project, and the other is a ring my wife got me for my 30th bday. The watch is from MVMT I have a lot of them and I switch them out a lot.

How does this compare to lockharts goon grease?
kittyvalium well let’s see. Because they are separate and completely different products we could start there.. one has petro in it the other has none, one has water in it the other has none..water leads me to boats, boats leads me to sailors and it was sailors who would refer to certain birds as “gooney birds”, which ties directly back to the bird on the box of this blumaan product, so I believe here in the end we can confirm that goon grease and ascent compares ornithologically.

I didn’t realize I was trying it hide a filter...maybe your just an over complainer. Colors come off different based on different color profiles, it might be something your gonna have to just get over.

My doc found out my T level was extremely low back in Jan. Like VERY low. So I started on gel, didn’t work- moved to shots 2 times a month and it worked, but not enough so I’m on weekly shots now.
Where do you get your rings?
They are all from different places. One is my wedding ring bought from a local jeweler. The other is a family ring that my dad got for my brothers and him, we all have the same one, no idea where it was from. On the other hand is a ring from clocks and colours, the Apollo ring I think it’s called, and then the other was a gift from my wife- a gold handmade ring from a local place for my golden birthday.

Trying to take comparisons out of the picture is like saying that every single product is an innovative thing that stands alone, which just isn't true. If multiple products claim to have a certain amount of hold with texture and easy application, of course people want it compared with products claiming similar things from other brands.
zeroknight55 that’s not true either and I said that specifically, every time I say something isn’t comparable someone says it’s hype or they try to pull what your doing the innovation argument, if I say I don’t want to compare it to the grocery store then I must be saying it’s the best and incomparable. There’s only one thing wrong with that argument.

Let me tell you what I did say. I said we need to stop immediately comparing things instead of looking at individual products. This comes out, and someone says oh! It’s a pre style cream let me get this! I love black water so I’ll love this too! The comparison crowd says yeah you will they are both pre stylers. Then it arrives in the mail and oops their nothing alike. Comparisons only get so far, and then comes reality.
When you compare two products together you are looking for links to provide a picture of the product up against something they might already have. When you do that your only picking and choosing the aspects of that product that fit that goal, your spending time doing that and telling them how it compares to XYZ when you could just save the time and tell them what the attributes of the product is and what the product does and what it does not. My point was we don’t need other products to give accurate and clear looks at products. When people immediately jump to how something might compare, they leave little details out that could provide a clearer picture. It has nothing to do with anything be so innovative that it’s unlike anything else, that makes zero sense and I encourage you to watch the video, specifically the end as you will see why I say that makes no sense. Some of us don’t have that much money to spend on just hair so we have to ask for comparisons so we know which product can be the best to spend our money at
Bro. I outlined it in this video what my problem with Comparisons are. People are too focused on them. You don’t need to spend money on products to know which ones you should spend your money on. I give you enough info in every review to make a decision without comparing it to anything. People have just been conditioned to think that they can’t make a choice on a product without looking at that product compared to something else. Comparing is a flat out waste of time. Why compare it when you can just look at it by itself?

Yeah I see why they do it but half the crap they compare don’t compare to each other. I see it constantly, people say well robin said this product was better in the brand battle and I got it home and it was nothing like what I expected! That’s a comparison. Your comparing it to something else, not discussing what it is. Plus robins brand battles are not meant to be a comparison segment, they are meant to determine which ones better, not to determine what product is comparable. That’s why half of them make no sense comparison wise. How are you supposed to compare a product with clay in it to a product that don’t? Your going to make the case that the one that don’t can still provide texture and can still give you that look, but when you get it home and use it thinking it’s just like the clay... oops it’s not like the clay at all and you just wasted your money.

I fail to see the purpose of this product especially for the price.
I can understand that but for those looking for it, this is going to be a killer part of their styling routine. For some folks getting volume and boosting Up their hair is a big struggle and sometimes a pre styling wax is too heavy so something like this fits right in.

I think if this ones too light for your hair type then original would probably do the job. If original is too heavy then ascend will help out. That’s kind of how I see it.
