Reedy Fen - Trailer - Carp fishing

- Reedy fen is a farm reservoir with a good stock of carp. Around 5-6 acres, the margins have extensive reed beds with a thick layer of silk-weed growing down the margin slopes. The deepest part of the lake is 28 feet with 14 feet just a few rod lengths out.

Love it. You don’t talk the rollbacks of the masses of relative newbies of Untube carpers more concerned with the social, barbecue and their beer than actually catching fish.
You on the other hand must have been a carp in a former life, because you think like one for sure.
For those new to carping wanting to learn how to go about it, my advise is watch these vids from someone with time served experience doing the do, instead of the instant fame kiddie winkie wannabes copying the latest trends and talking about bangers!!
What they are, bangers, is a type of firework, food best served with a nice mash or a knackered old car, that’s yer lot.
What a banger isn’t is a beautiful carp, which when big too can be a stunner, a beast, a beauty, a lunker…..or if you are really lucky….the leviathan of the lake😂
“ Bangers” are for butt heads…end of!
