Can’t tell you how happy it makes me when I see that you have posted a new video. I don’t know why, but after watching one of your videos, especially vlogs, it inspires me to get things done. You know ‘Just do it’ 😂 Thank you! ❤
I live in Central New York and there's no sign of spring. We are currently in day 2 of a snow storm. But I'm not letting that slow me down. I've been repotting and propagated like a made woman for the past week lol.
Thank you for sharing the 150w clamp grow light. I have 3 of the 80w 4-head (20w on each lamp) and they just don’t cut it. I’ll use them on my maranta. The 2 new higher watt ones will make my other plants happy!
@@wildfern hey, which canopy bed did you get and has it held up. You didn’t link it in the video you posted on it. I’ve been watching your older videos and I want one, but the reviews I’ve seen scare me.
I’m not yet at the replanting spot yet cause I’ve no room on my potting table. I got 7 new Hoya cuttings that are currently in fluval stratum trying to root. So when they bloom I can manage them in other spots in the house. But I do have a list of things that need repotting
Loved this video Fern! I colored my hair while I watched. Your vittarifolium looks sooo good hanging! And the staghorn! Perfect spot for it! Also I totally thought you potted up the dubia and I just missed that video. Glad to see them back on a plank! 😆 I did some serious plant chores yesterday and I'm so glad I did. Love this time in plant parenthood when you get ready for the growing season and get all your plants situated. 🪴 🙂
i think im basically a plant with a couple extra thoughts every now and again: pretty non-functional in the dark grey pnw winter + more energetic in the spring
So it me again 😊 when you was cutting the Begonia 🍃 , I was screaming put it in water put it in water. That strap leaf plant plant is on my wish list you just don’t understand. I cannot wait to get my hands on those strap long leafs. It’s raining in New York City March 13 Monday. This is my fifth video have to stop cause I got to clean up My livingliving room because I did plant choice yesterday. Thank you for the video. It was very very 💚nice I really enjoyed it.Nyc🧤👒🇹🇹
the Dubia! ugh, I can relate. My dubia is almost done with its plank so I have the plank laying down on the ground and the new growth going onto a new one. I am trying to air layer it too so that it has a good root system before I chop it and stick it in a new pot! 😬😬😬 hopefully we'll both have a hot dubia summer this year.
I think when i prop and chop ima do perlite from now own cuz moss is a pain in the dupa to get them out of the roots and perlite u can put it in pon or leca with the perlite and wont rot
Oh Fern, you are so good at this! The first one you did, the philodendron looked so lovely! I am impressed. I have learned so much from you. Thank you.😊
Making a huge pot of soup while watching today. Drinking Stash Double Bergamont Earl Grey. I need to get in the plant room to water and treat for flat mites 🤦🏼♀️ used the microscope this morning and found some on my Crown of Thorns 😢 Your plants are looking great! Thanks for another video. 😊
Loved your video. I missed the video where you propagated your vittarifolium. I have one & a pendulifolium & would love to see that. Thanks for sharing Fern!
Fantastic vid, fantastic plants, fantastic fern! Omg that begonia sinbad is AMAZING. Hasn’t taken over thurstonii as my favorite begonia, but might be a second!
Hi fern can u maybe make a soil mix how too I’m wondering how too make a mixture that my plants will love and thrive in but I’m not sure how to make one or which ingredients to use
🙋🏻♀️ *stupid question here* What would happen if you had the moss in the dirt? I only have 1 moss pole. I started 2 but one died & the other is doing great but the moss is so dry 🤷🏻♀️ I was experimenting with pothos so if I lost it I have more! I’m looking to make more but I don’t even remember how I did the first two.
Yo Fern, strange question I was concocting in this strange mind of mine. 😭 What do you think happens if you pot a clump of hair and water it. Mold? Lol cool vid though. 🦥
@@michellecastro2475 If it has the stem I like to water prop. If you’re just doing a piece of the leaf, sphagnum moss in a small closed container work well.
Can you do “how to acquire more plants without breaking the bank” lol. Like I don’t know how to make plant friends and awkwardly ask if they want to trade😅😅
Hi Fern glad to see your doing better Well the reason I'm asking this it's about the Micans on the wall they need a good chopping and Propping, just saying 💕
How come you put them leaning all over one side of the pot? Instead of spreading them around to grow hanging over all edges. It’s going to be heavy and leaning over the side
@@wildfern you’re my absolute favorite. You tick all the boxes for me! Smart, cute, tattooed (lol), sweet, funny, real, informative, and lovely content. Omg a snow storm! Wild! Hope Spring comes soon for you :)
It's so satisfying to combine multiple of the same plant into one pot! I've been working on this for myself, trying to simplify 😁
It really is! I'm on a mission to get all of my plants to be full and beautiful :)
You are doing such a fabulous job with your propagations and potting. They just all look so beautiful. Really loving your jungle bedroom.
YOUR VARIEGATED THANKSGIVING CACTUS BLOOMING IN THE BACK!!!!! 😍😍😍😍😍😍

You can propagation new begonia from that leaf you took off too. I’m really successful too anyway maybe you knew already. Always love your video ❤
I think you can propagate begonia leafs too! So if you remove the bottom leaf of a stem, just put it in water and it will root
Your vittarifolium is gorgeous. It is one of my wish plants. Love watching you repots.
i think im basically a plant with a couple extra thoughts every now and again: pretty non-functional in the dark grey pnw winter + more energetic in the spring

The vittarifolium is so pretty 😍 looks so good!
Great video! Just remember the begonias can be propagated by a single leaf, too. That leaf you broke off could have been put in the water, too.
I like your vlogs so much I watch fern&olive because I can’t get enough of you and your personality
Happy Spring lovely ☀️🌸💛

Ok I finally have the confidence to chop my begonias 🤞🏼 thanks for another great video-the anthurium looks fantastic already! 🌱☺️
I love these long videos, motivates me so much to do my planty things
Obsessed w your anthurium! It’s definitely on my wishlist!
Always the best vibes here! ❤
thank you for sharing, very useful video 😊
What type of medium did you use to pot this plant on?
I’m obsessed With your vittarifolium! I bought myself a little one and I’m really hoping I can get it to be nearly as large as yours!🪴☮️💚
Oh I hope it grows quickly for you!! I've really fallen in love with mine lately :)
In my experience dubia cuttings are pretty hard to get started, mine usually shoot out ruuners or take a long time to start growing again
❤❤❤❤❤ all your videos!!! I see spring coming!!!
Winter is still here, snow on the ground in Michigan
Your plantwall looks sooo good.
Thank you so much 💚
I found the easiest way to remove sulfur is to wipe the leaves down with a baby wipe

the anthurium basket 😍
Hi i will like to see how you do your anthurium cutting and your plants are just wow ❤
I really hope you see this. But can you do a nerve plant care video? Please I would love to see one from you if you have them. ❤️
You’re measly little dubia leaves are the same as my actual dubia plant…🤣 however it is sizing up FAST!
Thanks for the video! Lovely sharonii!! Have u watched The Jungle Havens Dubia?? It’s beautiful! Xx
Awwwww Olive 🥰
AHHH the vittarifolium looks amazing altogether like that!! (though i was so hoping you were going to sell a couple babes lol)
Thank you 🥰
Anthurium vittarifolium just went to the top of my wish list. Where did you get yours?
Mine is from nstropicals.com :)
omg fern your nails are beautiful, what polish do you use if you dont mind sharing?
Yo Fern, strange question I was concocting in this strange mind of mine.
😭 What do you think happens if you pot a clump of hair and water it. Mold? Lol cool vid though. 🦥
Can you propagate the leaf of the begonia also??? It looks so pretty.
Yes you can! I just didn't need any more propagations haha.
@@wildfern so would you just prop in moss or perlite or water?? Curious. I think I might want to get one of those. ☺️
@@michellecastro2475 If it has the stem I like to water prop. If you’re just doing a piece of the leaf, sphagnum moss in a small closed container work well.
@@wildfern ty very much fern. Your always so helpful and such a joy to watch. Can't wait for the next ones ☺️
Love these kind of Videos 😍
Ps: can you extend these mosspoles later?
Yes you can! I will show it when I extend mine.
Really cute 🥰
New subscriber here. Thank you
Olive ❤❤❤
I don't know why but I feel like Fern and Kurtis Conner would be buds. Not just because they're both Canadian, but mostly that.
Can you do “how to acquire more plants without breaking the bank” lol. Like I don’t know how to make plant friends and awkwardly ask if they want to trade😅😅
unrelated but do you still have your goldfish plant?
oh wait i meant fishtail hoya!!!
Yes I do :) I have the regular green one and the broget (silver)
Hi Fern glad to see your doing better Well the reason I'm asking this it's about the Micans on the wall they need a good chopping and Propping, just saying 💕
normal potting soil is really bad for the environment btw, that's why I prefer cococoir
piece of information: begonia blooms are edible
👀
Sooooo satisfying! Agree with you on those juicy roots! 💚 🪴 36:01
❤
How come you put them leaning all over one side of the pot? Instead of spreading them around to grow hanging over all edges. It’s going to be heavy and leaning over the side
Because it's only going to get light from that one side.
@@wildfern you could rotate the pot. Would be easy on your bed frame. Especially with the hanger you have.

Omg the philo sheroniae?? Stunning it looks SO velvety, does it grow quick? I would love to watch this grow a new leaf
