Hi Kaylee 👋 could you please do an in-depth- guide video for keeping plants in self watering pots, and what type of media/ soil a person could use? Thanks, love your videos 🍀💚
I was going to say the SAME THING!!! I have the pinnatilobum as well and this one was a dead ringer for my plant!! I’m glad someone else thought the same!
Hi!! You did had an Anthurium Pallidiflorum on your shop way back then. I actually bought it and it's doing great! He had to fight a thrips attack but he did it sooo well! Just like yours, he kept his old leaves for a very veryyyyy long time. Now, he his producing some blooms so I'll try to pollinate him :D
Hi Kaylee, it would be really cool if you do a cross genus long boi index - from easy to difficult including growth rate and mature form etc. There's not that much info to compare the long leafed plants. It would be very much appreciated ☺️
@Kaylee Ellen for the colocasia the leaves are quite juvenile and will turn dark as they mature. It needs super bright indirect light and temps about 25 Celsius. Most info on these guys say they like full sun, they don't! The leaves are far too thin and they crisp very easily. Colocasia are also a semi aquatic plant and love ponds. As such they like super well draining soil and frequent waterings. If you use a moisture retaining mix they corm will likely rot. Also this guy is a super heavy feeder and if it's not getting enough nutrients it will sacrifice old leaves to put out new ones so if you want more than 3 leaves give it 1/4 diluted fertilizer every watering. In my experience with colocasia (black magic, black coral, blue Hawaiian) they do SUPER GOOD in moss and absolutely HATE leca! Best of luck and if you have any other questions let me know 😊
I’m pretty certain the unknown Billie is p. Pinnatilobum aff/p. Billietiae #3/ p. Lita red (Lita red is its new cultivation name confirmed a few months ago.) I have two of these babies in my collection, as I was obsessed as soon as I discovered them. They were not easy to find! ❤️❤️❤️
Ive had a Sp. Morona from NSE for over a year now. Easiest Anthurium I've ever grown. The roots are very temperamental but grow back almost instantly like it legit refuses to die. SUCH a dream plant!
I think light is the main factor for colocasia black magic since mine got black leaves when it was outside on a balcony in Norway this summer (not superwarm). The unknown looks like it is at least closely related to phil. sharoniae san antonio.
I have been watching you for a year or so and I got most of my plants in self watering planters thanks to your advice. Oh god, what a difference! they all benefit from it!
i love love love your background setup! can you make a video where you just skim through the shelves? I'm not asking for a plant shop tour but maybe some shots down the shelves would be cool. :)
Hi Kaylee, it seems like you are doing much much better, i mean your health! Happy to see that. To be honest you are somehow my inspirations to start a day :D Happy Halloween :)
Can't wait to see a leaf of the Marona grown under your care. The ribbon effect gets so cool. Very jelly. I like the one before it also. It's leaves seemed more stiff, which was cool.
Great video.... also I am so old and out of the loop. When did we change boy to Boi? It's been like this for years. I've just never asked anyone when I see it. Is that like just a plant thing? Seems popular with plants.
I respect your love for the longbois Kaylee and im truly trying to open up more to them 😂😭 i feel like im the ONLY one in the plant community who dislikes the leaf shape, so maybe i just need to own one and see whats up, youre convincing me
my two faves are anthurium wendlingeri because its not difficult, a reasonable size and the spadix is corkscrewed, and a. friedrichsthalii, its considerably smaller and not as fussy about care so it holds it leaves, you can have a nice specimen plant without the hassle, and it won't take up much space. I really don't understand buying fussy plants when there are easy options.
I have colocasia black magic and mine are definitely black - I'm lucky enough that I live in an area where I can grow it outside year round. It dies back a little and stops growing during Winter, but as soon as the warmer months kick in, it gets big and vibrantly black (or super dark purple).
In my area, the colocasia black magic does really well in wet medium. In nature, it likes being near if not on the edge of a body of water like a stream or pond. They also like filtered light coz they grow under big canopies.
I LOVE THAT Philodendron Heterocraspedon!!!!🤩😍💓! Never saw nor heard of it before, added to my list! BTW..I think that Madam Glam should be a sponsor 😁. You already gave them free positive promo and now I find myself looking to see which nail color that you are wearing! Love the video, THANK YOU!!!
I am in LOVE with longbois!!! I had a question about the heterocraspedon, don’t they usually have red backings on the leaves? On another note, I am distressed to hear you say P.Patricae is a bit of a nightmare to grow as I’ve just finally ordered one after having had it on my wishlist for ages!!! I am hoping I am able to care for it properly and that it won’t give me too much trouble! Fingers crossed for me!!!
Hello Kaylee and everyone else in the comments! I have a question regarding growing plants in pure moss or leca. Which fertilizer do you use? I do live in Europe and many recommend liquid fertilizer for Philodendron and Anthurium are often not available here. If anybody got a great tip, I would love to hear from you 😘
Eeeek, Kaylee! I've been looking for a Black Magic for TWO years! Living in Denmark, I really do think that importing that plant to here is literally impossible because of our import laws 😭😭
Could that first long boi philo be one of the p. Sharoniae varieties? Also, I so wish we could attach photos to comments, because I could attach a photo of my MASSIVE and gorgeous Black Magic Colocasia. They get enormous….with deep purple petioles and velvety leaves. And just be prepared for the fact that they put off TONS of runners and pups. I absolutely love mine!
My colocasia black magic leaves always start out small and green at the beginning of the growing season. If you have a mature bulb the leaves will turn black in no time.
*adds halloween shirt and sticker to basket and checks out* Loving seeing some longboi's!! Also I need to know what lippie you are wearing Kaylee; even though its spring, I need it :)
Its light for the black magic. They like full sun and wet feet. Mine is jet black, full afternoon sun in Australia... that's the kinda light it's into 😂
Hi Kaylee 👋 could you please do an in-depth- guide video for keeping plants in self watering pots, and what type of media/ soil a person could use? Thanks, love your videos 🍀💚
Great idea
Mostly leca, if you have watched enough of her 😊
Unknown to me looks EXACTLY like my philodendron pinnatilobum!! I'm almost 100% certain that's what it is.
Thank you
I was going to say the SAME THING!!! I have the pinnatilobum as well and this one was a dead ringer for my plant!! I’m glad someone else thought the same!

Your unknown plant looks strikingly like a P. Pinattilobum, but it also looks very much like P. Delinksii, too.
I love your videos- thank you!
i always love your make up but you look especially amazing in this 🥰 love how your lipstick matches the pumpkin on your top
Yay! Hands down my new favorite video! These types of plants are so underrated and not talked about enough!
Great haul of varying longbois. The Anthurium sp. Morona is my favourite out of your haul, loved it from the moment I saw the thumbnail 😍
hmmm, not to question your guess but to me it look a lot like the Philodendron delinksii. (just order one so I have been studying up on this plant)
I was thinking this too. It also reminded me of my Pinnatilobum minus the orange
Did anyone figure out what it is?
Ive had a Sp. Morona from NSE for over a year now. Easiest Anthurium I've ever grown. The roots are very temperamental but grow back almost instantly like it legit refuses to die. SUCH a dream plant!
Where were you able to find it? In would love one, 💓
I love - what we in the business call - long bois. They are some of the best plants out there.
That Billie aff looks like the Lita Red thing people have been selling. Either way, long bois are my fav! lol
I think light is the main factor for colocasia black magic since mine got black leaves when it was outside on a balcony in Norway this summer (not superwarm). The unknown looks like it is at least closely related to phil. sharoniae san antonio.
I'd like to add P crassinervium and A wendlingeri to the longboi list. Especially the wendlingeri with it's corkscrew shaped flower!
Omg my only anthurium is a pallidiflorum. I’ve never heard of this variety. Want. Omg want. Also it’s darker than mine. Thank you for showing it.
Thank you so much for updating!!! We love the long boi
The unknown Philo reminds me of P. pinnatilobum 'Lita red' - it has the typical red midrib and petiole, at least.
I have been watching you for a year or so and I got most of my plants in self watering planters thanks to your advice. Oh god, what a difference! they all benefit from it!
My darling, I watch all ur videos. Truly an urban legend in the plant community 😁😁😁
Love the shirt! The unknown philo looks similar to a mature p. sharoniae, least thats the vibes im getting??? very nice either way :) xx
i love love love your background setup! can you make a video where you just skim through the shelves? I'm not asking for a plant shop tour but maybe some shots down the shelves would be cool. :)
I love that even tho there are plants drowning you in that place Ben still gives you a plant for your birthday. 👍👍👍
Hi Kaylee,
it seems like you are doing much much better, i mean your health! Happy to see that.
To be honest you are somehow my inspirations to start a day :D
Happy Halloween :)
Hi Kaylee, Will you add some in your green wall to see how big they can get?
Can't wait to see a leaf of the Marona grown under your care. The ribbon effect gets so cool. Very jelly. I like the one before it also. It's leaves seemed more stiff, which was cool.
That Pallidilorum! I never thought I could love them even more but that Super Narrow just made the top of my wishlist.
Love all of these Long bois. Ahhhh please. Send to Canada😊💗💗💗💗
That lip color looks incredible on you! What brand/shade is it?
That was the first thing I noticed too, and I'm not really a big makeup person!
@@sarahdanielle1 same here!
I definitely need it!
Put the colocasia in a bit of standing water and never ever let it get dry! The black coral colocasia is a fun grower.
I love the A. Black Coral! It's darker, to me.
Great video.... also I am so old and out of the loop. When did we change boy to Boi? It's been like this for years. I've just never asked anyone when I see it. Is that like just a plant thing? Seems popular with plants.

Nahhh you're not the only one. I'm picky with which long bois i like. The Bonifazae is a prime example of long bois i don't like lol.
@@knitwitchpgh philos that grow like that definitely don't do it for me, they are expensive charlie brown christmas trees.
I just got my first anthurium after watching your videos, and I am so in love, they're gorgeous!
I have colocasia black magic and mine are definitely black - I'm lucky enough that I live in an area where I can grow it outside year round. It dies back a little and stops growing during Winter, but as soon as the warmer months kick in, it gets big and vibrantly black (or super dark purple).
That Anthurium sp Morona is GORGEOUS. That light mid rib in the dark fat long leaf... 😍
I love the pallidiflorum! I don’t own the narrow form but I love that mine shimmers. Loving the long Bois!
I need that shirt too 🎃 BTW Kaylee happy belated fellow Libra! ⚖️🧡
Hell yeah Libra club lol 🤣 I'm a Libra sun and moon 🌞 🌚
Dude that super narrow pallidiflorum is insane!!! I love it!! 🪴✨
That Bilietiae aff reminds me of an anthurium pinkleyi with how the leaf shape is - it is a cool looking plant whatever it is!
That unknown philo that you said reminded you of a billitaei looks very similar to my pinnatilobum!
In my area, the colocasia black magic does really well in wet medium. In nature, it likes being near if not on the edge of a body of water like a stream or pond. They also like filtered light coz they grow under big canopies.
Thanks for this! I just got a colocasia hilo beauty in the other day and this comment will help me give it the best conditions 🤗
I love that anthurium (?) and the one after it that have the patriciae vibes. And that narrow boi is sooo lovely.
Your hair and makeup look amazing 😍
Black Magic is my favourite plant! It needs a lot of light to get the back leaves. Lots of water and sun light will even give you flowers.
Love these long bois. Your hair looks great with the loose curl/wave
You are really looking amazing in this video! Autumn looks good on you 💚🍁🍂🍃
Always love a long boi. Plants too 😆
Looking FABULOUS Kaylee!! 💚

I like longbois. Yours are awesome. I own a queen anthurium and omg. I love him!

Hi kaylee big fan from the philippines love the longbois
Amazing plants 😍 the unknown one kinda looks like a Philo Balaoanum, what ever it is, it’s gorgeous 💚😀
I love your shirt! What a great idea! I hope you don't mind if I use it for my shop shirts next fall!
Omg that super narrow is a gem…
that mysterious billietiae kinda looks like it’s crossed with a mexicanum? idk but whatever it is i love it 👻
That was my first thought!
Kaylee the first one looks kinda like philodendron pinnatilobum aff (Ecugenera sells)
Could that first long boi philo be one of the p. Sharoniae varieties? Also, I so wish we could attach photos to comments, because I could attach a photo of my MASSIVE and gorgeous Black Magic Colocasia. They get enormous….with deep purple petioles and velvety leaves. My colocasia black magic leaves always start out small and green at the beginning of the growing season. If you have a mature bulb the leaves will turn black in no time.
Sorry to hear you're dealing with some stuff. Hang in there. You're great!
These are some very excellent long bois. Also your makeup is 🔥 today!
The billietiae aff is actually sold as pinnatilobum aff as it was undescribed but recently given the cultivar name 'Lita Red'.
Checkout colocasia electric blue gecko! Smaller but lovely dark and metallic
Looking gorge! And love the themed RPS shirt :)
Kaylee….you look so stunning!!! The whole look is awesome. Are are fricken gorgeous!! I love the hairn
Genuinely thought the Anthurium sp. Morona was a Patriciae! this has been bad for my wishlist!
*adds halloween shirt and sticker to basket and checks out* Loving seeing some longboi's!! Also I need to know what lippie you are wearing Kaylee; even though its spring, I need it :)
Totally agree, I need that lip color!
the billietiae boy is so so gorgeous, dang
I love your title, so simple and descriptive 😅 I want a longboi so bad but not found one I can afford lol.
Philodendron Atabapoense can often be found for a more reasonable price! Around $50 for a small one where I am
I saw someone post on Instagram a picture of an Anthurium Longissimilobum that looked similar to your mystery long boi 🤷🏼♀️
Omg my favorite plants 🤗
K seriously love you and your videos lmao cute logo and these plants are so beautiful. I hope you share pics/videos once your colossians darkens up :)
The send plant could be a philodendron saggittifalium aff it looks very similar to mine.
The billietiae looks like another form of mature lupinum 🤩🤩🤩 so beautiful 🤩🤩🤩
hi kaylee i think the bilitiae AFF is a matured lupinom
Hey there. Your mystery plant looks a lot like my philodendron deflexum
Its light for the black magic. They like full sun and wet feet. Mine is jet black, full afternoon sun in Australia... that's the kinda light it's into 😂
The 1st pot is Philodendron pinatilobum aff aka litared
The Philodendron shown after the Colocasia Black Magic looks to be a Philo Felix 👍
The unknown philodendron looks almost exactly like my philodendron Pinnatilobum aff from Ecuagenera if that helps!
The unknown one has a leaf growth pattern very similar to philodendron Erubescence ecuagenera.
The unknown Philo is sold here in Europe as Pinnatilobum aff ( or "Lita Red")
I‘m in love with all of them 💚
Hi Kaylee! Could you plz do a indepth on Philodendron Jose Buono 🙏? There's very little out there on them on UA-cam. Literally 2 videos
How long will the Halloween shirts be available....i can't order one until next week 🙃
I'll keep them up for a while don't worry :)
Loving the Longbois 💜
The "billietiae"'s shape reminds me of a semi-mature Lupinum
I have the unknown Philodendron. Ist was sold to me as a Philodendron pinnatilobum aff ! 😃
this billietae, isn't it Philodendron Sharoniae San Antonio???
I would buy a dozen of these Bonifozea. If I could get them . I love long leaves! I am in Canada 😊 could you would you ship it 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻. 😊💗✨✨✨
