    This tutorial is so perfectly done, just watching it through I feel like I can do it.. I can't, but believing is everything, right? I started following along today and my lack of flexibility is showing.. I began breaking in '84, at 9yrs old, I was the youngest in my crew, but retired age 11. I had a resurgence for a few years around age 30, got windmills from NY entry, which is more than I could do 18 years earlier. Now, aged 48 I've started again, some kind of 18year cycle going on. I can get back to the swipe position from standing start but that's where I'm at so far. It was so much easier to learn back in the day when everyone around you was doing it, constantly, and learning from and pushing each other, seeing it done is not the same as watching a vid.. What are my chances here?

      That’s amazing, thanks!! And thanks for sharing your story!
      To be completely honest I never seen or heard of someone learning Airflare at 48, but I don’t think this means it’s impossible. I think it’s possible, but probably nobody really tried hard at that age or with the right consistency or method. If I would be you I would still try until you enjoy the journey and you can learn something about yourself and your body! :)
      You never know, maybe you could be the first one who learned it at that age 😁
      Sooner or later someone will do it I guess :)

      @@KaioFalcrow Thanks for the reply. Yeah I should probably be realistic about it, feeling it today! but I am enjoying it again just relearning some stuff, If I can recapture the progression I was on last time, I think my latent skillset should compensate for my.. non youth! Maybe I should video my progress

    Brother kaio I first of all I want to say I have become a huge fan of you and your work..u are the best.... Keep going man...and . Also I have a quick question I am a dancer too..... I started with breaking but now I am more into different styles... But I want to get back into breaking but now I am 25 years old.... Is it too late to start breaking again.... And if I do start again ,do I have to leave other dance styles and just focus on breaking.....whole 7 days of the week or just 1 to 2 days of practice is enough..? Thank u in advance kaio

    • @KaioFalcrow
      @KaioFalcrow  2 роки тому

      25 is perfect! It depends from a lot of different factors, like the goals you want to achieve, your body shape, flexibility and strength and mindset.. so it’s very hard to answer. But usually around 25 years old you should be at the best shape of your life if you treat your body correctly 😁 it is very subjective by the way, some people feel better at 18, some people feel better even over 30. Listen to your body and start gradually to see how you feel 🔥

Nd also I m always curious about what does a breakdancers diet looks like 🥦🍎🥗🍌.... Why don't u make a video on that... I'm pretty sure people will love that... • @KaioFalcrow
      @KaioFalcrow  3 роки тому +3

      Practicing more pike freezes on both sides will help a lot your flexibility! Also Inverts & Hollowbacks will help.
      Consider practicing the vertical/walkover Airflare if the regular form doesn't fit for you at the moment
